A lovely place to stay in Bali - very quiet with rooms set in relaxing, natural surroundings. Not far from the beach or the busier parts of Sanur. A small restaurant is on site if you want breakfast, snacks, drinks or larger meals. Staff are delightful and always available to help when needed. Travelling as a solo woman I really appreciated everything about Puri Mesari and will definitely be back - next time for longer!

Lovely boutique hotel that scores high in both hard and soft product. The rooms, while simple are spacious and very clean. The bed, linen, and pillows are comfortable and spotless. The staff are friendly and always ready to help if needed. The location is a short 5-10 minute walk to many restaurants, mini marts, and other businesses. There is a Vietnamese/vegan restaurant on site. A solid 5 stars in its price range.

We had an amazing experience staying here, friendly and helpful staff. Quiet place, spacious clean room, clean pool, and romantic bathroom, no toiletries but it's oke for us. 7 minutes to Mertasari beach by walk, nearby with many local food and coffee shop. Sure we'll recommend this to others. This deserves more than a 5 Star rating!

BED BUGS! My wife ended up covered in bites, little blood spots on the sheets a tell-tale sign. We have been traveling all year and this was unfortunately the first time we experienced this. We advised the staff right away and were able to change rooms, unfortunately not as nice as our original room, with a very smelly & mouldy bathroom. I asked for a partial refund for our bad experience to be told they don't refund, regardless of the issue. I perhaps naively expected some recompense, perhaps a voucher for the on-site restaurant, an apology perhaps. Nothing other than the staff member saying it must have happened before we got here, so putting the blame onto us. This is not how customer service is supposed to work in hospitality! NOT RECOMMENDED (as if that was not obvious from the review!)!

I highly recommend staying here and would do it again anytime, spacious rooms with large bathrooms and a nice working AC. The staff is really helpful, breakfast is served every day. It's located walking distance from the beach.

Puri Mesari is a delight! I visited last week for 4 nights and really didn't want to leave. My friend was staying there and recommended it. As soon as I arrived a sense of calm came over me - it's like a sanctuary. I kept marvelling at how serene and tasteful the property and rooms. I booked direct and the communication was easy and clear. The location is good, close enough to the beach to walk but also removed from the hustle. It's very quiet. The pool is lovely and I swam every day. The facilities were excellent and the room and bed very comfortable. Can't praise the staff enough, they were a delight and so helpful. They dealt with all my queries (I am relatively new to Bali) including trying to sort out the Grab App so it didn't take me to the wrong place. No request for help was too big or small. I came to Puri Mesari after travelling for 5 weeks through Cambodia and Thailand for holiday and work so had some comparisons. Was easily the best place I stayed. The service surpassed everything I'd previously experienced and ended my trip on a high, before returning to Australia.

After my flight was cancelled, I booked this hotel online at 7pm and arrived a bit frazzled at 7.30pm. This hotel has a really welcoming, home-like vibe, the rooms are basic, large and comfortable (my bathroom was huge!), and there is a restaurant that serves good food and Bintang til 10pm. Plus they don't put plastic bottles of water in the room and they use amazing rice-based straws in the restaurant. Bravo!

This was the best place we stayed at in Bali. Bar none. Pros: + Very friendly staff. It is a family-run business and they do what they can to make it the best visit for everyone. + Great food. I would even recommend others to eat here even if you are not staying at the hotel. The food was that good. + 1pm check out. You would be hard pressed to find this late check out anywhere else. + Very reasonably priced. For the quality, it is not too expensive, for either the restaurant or the room. + Great environment. The outdoor area includes a beautiful walkway through the hotel and a very relaxing pool. + High cleanliness. Although the bathroom we were in was partially outdoors, everything is very clean, especially the room itself. No bugs and no dirtiness. Extremely comfortable compared to other questionable places available in and around Bali. + Quiet rooms. Often within the area, you can hear chants, musical instruments, and especially animals from within your hotel room, at all hours of the night. These disturbances were non-existant here. Cons: - The only minor complaint is the location. It is a little further away from other things in the area, but if you can afford a taxi, this isn't an issue. We didn't want to leave so the location was not a problem for us. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know, as well as everyone reading this review. I hope to be back soon.

Amazing place to stay! Very quiet, spacious rooms, shower outside, nice pool, friendly staff, good and filling breakfast... I saw some people complaining about breakfast, but to be honest, you will have more fruit than you can handle, as much coffee or tea as you want, a choice of fresh juices, and then on top of that you can choose eggs, noodles or rice, French toast, sausages, bacon... it was even too much for us! We requested a quiet room and the hotel responded very fast, and we got the last room on the premise which was very quiet. If I would have to say one thing to improve, it is the dripping air conditioning. But everything else was perfect!

Great value for money. Great staff. Located near the beach. Also located away from the main road hence no traffic noise. The rooms are spacious with lots of natural light. The food at the restaurant is good. Very cozy hotel. I’d stay there again for sure.

These are lovely hotels just 3 minutes from the beach. 19 rooms with homey ambience and very large bath tub!! They are closed at the moment but hopefully will open again soon. They have nice pool with frangipani trees surrounded. Great hospitality too and excellent services.

Very good location in south Sanur. It is located in a quite zome surrounded by private owned villas. Appr. 350 m to Sanur Beach and 300 - 400 m to the zone with very nice warungs and restaurants. Very friendly staff.

Enjoyed our two day stay here as our lst place in our month long Indonesian adventure. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good. We loved the extra large pool. There are six wifi routers to connect to so there are ample there. But like much of this region the speed is slow and often up and down, which can be a little frustrating at times. The hotel is not far from the beach. We enjoyed the walk back each day/night. It was nice.to get away from the winds on the beach and the energy of the busy crowd of the beach areas.

Wish I could give more than five stars!! I love the hotel and it's super kind personal staff so much. I stayed there for five weeks sorting out a medical mess and recovering from an accident. The owner of the hotel was even concerned with my situation and tried to help me. I was by myself in a very scary medical situation and the staff always gave me positive energy, made me feel not alone and were just guinely the most kind and helping people. The pictures online don't do the beauty of the hotel justice. The pool area is beautiful, especially at night, quiet rooms surround a pretty garden and every room has this absolutely amazing bath room. Each room has a different 5 star quality huge bath. It could fit 3 people and in the evening it could be full and hot within 30 min. That is rare to find in Bali. I would recommend this hotel both for couples as a romantic getaway, for solo travellers and for families with children. The pool is nice and safe for children. And because of the layout of the hotel I never had any problems with noise. The hotel is 5 min from the main beach of sanur, close to many watersport activities and great restaurants. I could go on for hours about how much I love this hotel and its people. Reindra, Ayu, Resti and Linda thank you so much!! This experience meant the world to me and helped me heal. Missing you guys and will come back as soon as I can

We stayed here for a quick night, and were very disappointed. The room was dirty and hot. The AC lacked enough power to properly cool the room and with the bathroom being open air, it didn’t stand a chance cooling things down. So in conclusion it was a hot and sticky nights sleep. The room smelt stale and our bed sheets were stained and off in color which made them seem dirty or unwashed. It also lacked proper bathroom linens and toiletries. Although in Bali you will mostly always find wonderful friendly service which this hotel has, cleanliness it does not. I think for a similar price there are many other more suitable options in the area. If we were here for more than just one night it would have been a deal breaker for our trip in Bali.
