We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. It was very relaxing and quiet considering it was just off the bypass. The rooms have a safe. They are comfortbale with a large bed which was firm but perfect for us. The gardens are beautiful and lush. The pool was very good and quiet whilst we were there. It is a bit of a walk through the back streets into Sanur but easy to navigate. Taxis back were a couple of dollars. The staff were great and extremely helpful. We will definitely stay again.

I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely hotel. The gardens are lush and immaculate with lots of sculptures throughout. The beds are very comfortable and my room had a lovely terrace with a water feature to admire. The pool is clean and inviting. Lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas for shade. All the staff members were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. I can not thank them enough. Special thanks to Preta for looking after me so well. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. It's an easy 10/15 min walk to the main street of town and the beach. I didn't want to leave.

A wonderful and relaxing hotel in Bali Sanur. Balinese massage is very good, staff is friendly, and room is clean. Location is quiet and close to sanur beach Night BBQ and live music show for 2024 new year celebration. The only bad thing is too many mosquitoes inside the room. Have to settle mosquitoes before sleep.

Absolutely amazing place! The property is beautiful, spotless, super well maintained, stunning rooms (love the style!) with super comfortable beds and pillows and our bathroom was the highlight with the sunken bath tub. Also the staff is top notch! Nice restaurant area with good breakfast and the option to order food and drinks by the pool. There are comfortable sunbeds and clean, big pool towels too. Just perfect :)

Nice place to stay in Bali. Event tho the hotel is next to the main road, it's still quite and peaceful. The desin and interior is represent exactly like the name "Tempo Doeloe". Old wooden villa, I personally like it.

Amazing hotel with a garden of dreams. This place is just magical. The staff is the most friendly staff I ever met and the rooms are all so beautiful. A lot of detail in the interior and decoration. It’s a little oasis! Would highly recommend anyone to stay here, it’s the absolute best place in Sanur ❤️❤️. Nothing but Love.

The place is essentially very nice. The staff goes the extra mile to welcome you and help out. The place is very clean, well decorated and has a great calm vibe about it. The only thing that ruined the atmosphere for me (sorry, the staff or hotel can't do much about it) were the other guests. It seemed to be 80% pensioned Dutch people. If you're ok with that you'll have an amazing stay here.

One of the hidden gems in Bali! The rooms were clean & spacious and the garden & swimming pool were charming & quiet! Its backdoor could lead you to the busy area in Sanur! We enjoyed so much we loved to stay more there.

Hotel Puri Tempo Dulu in Sanur is for me the perfect place to end my Summer holiday. A small paradise with beautiful garden and cottages. Relaxt atmosphere. Sanur is a bit of a boring place to be honest. But strategically the best place to make day trips from. The hotel has good offers to explore the Island. Good value for money. So if you need a beautiful and relaxt place to avoid the hectic cities of Bali, this hotel is highly recommended. Even for small kids. Some points of attention. The breakfast they offer (part of the deal) is insufficient. If you are used to breakfast buffets, this is very disappointing. The quality is average, the quantity not good. If you want extra, they charge you. The wifi is very unstable (average) and the rooms don't have a safe. The rooms are also a bit dark inside: more lights would be better. The restaurant will improve with more vegetarian options.

The BEST stay my family ever experienced and we have been all over many hotels in many cities around the world. The villa is top notch and the service is above and beyond. They celebrated my birthday with so much pomp and circumstance, yet still spend the effort to surprise my cousin 2 days later. Will come back!

Great personal, clean rooms, the only downside is breakfast, it’s just fine, everything else is bombastic, for 70$ per night great deal!

Feels like a resort in the city. Once you get off the main road you don’t hear a thing and the well maintained gardens really make the space comfortable. There are many staff there but they are in working quietly in the background so you can relax in a quiet environment. The layout is pretty good too with most cottages placed around the central pool/garden with the restaurant to one side and each end of the pool is overlooked by some daybeds with high ceilings. Any chatter from restaurant or these daybeds wouldn’t interfere with you chilling by the pool. End of October and it felt like there were only a handful of people here and you only realise there are more people at breakfast time. We had Balinese massage everyday which was really nice timing after a flight and after a long day tour. As usual if you see the staff genuinely happy you know that the place is well run and maintained. The lobby and spa have Balinese touches and are well maintained. The cottage we stayed in with garden was really nice to have a sitting out area and the room and decor was quaint, but well maintained as the sheets felt fresh and comfortable and the mosquito net was decorative as well as functional. We had a tour booked to Nusa Penida and the tour organised a very early to avoid traffic and it took 20mins as the one way road system means you drive away from your destination before u turning and driving towards your destination and then U turn again. Which was fine. But on the way back after a long day snorkelling and hiking, it was just 5 minutes to get back to the hotel and just chill by the pool before dinner. Perfect!!!😍 All in all it has the feeling of a retreat which is good if you are doing a boat based tour to Nusa Penida.
