I don't even stay and get what I deserve. Beware to stay here in this time because there's a loud banging construction behind the property. And the owner is a greedy rude, and disrespectful woman who charge extra 100k for a customer that asking to move room to avoid the noise. And the room I asked to move is not even better, or bigger, or has private pool/kitchen and its simply the same room type. She told me in the phone to call agoda and get a refund and hang up on me rather then give me my money back or not charging me extra to move to another same room type, and yet at the end, she decline to refund my money in agoda. I hope you get your karma from your nice hospitality.

Looking for peaceful place to stay in Sanur? You came to the wrong place. Upon arriving we immediately heard drilling and pounding. Not what you want to hear when you are checking in. The next door building was demolished and the boy in the office said the construction goes on till 5pm . While of courae its not the hotels fault we asked to stay in another room away from that side of the construction which we were told was available. Then the staff member told us we can move if we pay an extra 100k because the other room was garden view which in reality was just another average room . Even though on agoda they are the same price. Then we get on the phone with the owner and Ive never dealt with such an arrogant disrespectful hotel owner in all of Bali. She could care less and suggest moving us to a room below our original room even closer to the noise. She wouldn't budge on the 100k, which at that point its not about the money its the fact you are in hospitality business and treating your customer terribly. Then she says "If you want a refund contact Agoda and hung up". We did and they said she wouldn't refund. Then to top it off as we were leaving I was having a look at a plastic sign leaning against the wall in parking, one of the congratulatory signs business have when opening. Just to see if the shameful owners name was on it when the little boy in the office comes out agressive and cursing as If I am trying to steal a 1x2 meter flimsy sign lol. So if you are looking for the typical Balinese hospitality you wont find it here, only the usual Balinese incompetence and greed. Dont stay here. Edit: lol owner says fake review, cant take criticism for their terrible behavior.

The worst hotel experience my whole life. Better stay somewhere quiet cause they have loud banging construction behind. They know it but they dont tell you until you check in. Lol.

It's located in quiet area and Easy to access to main Street through small paths. The room was smaller as photos. Especially, balcony is super tiny. Basic facilities like as the kettle and the fridge are available. Staffs are friendly and have good English. 200k is asked as deposit when I checked in. Ok place.

Pros: - Spacious Room - Quiet area - Clean - Bed, Pillow, Blanket comfortable - High ceiling - Water heater work well - Soap and Shampoo provided - Mini fridge and wardrobe provided - TV provided but didnt work Cons: - Booked deluxe pool access but they give me the room upstair, room #8 instead of room downstair with direct access to the pool. and they also told me that pool access means all the rooms (include the rooms upstairs) has access to the pool hahaha thats hilarious. Ofcourse, but if the access via main stairs, thats not the meaning of pool access. Then whats the different with other room type (garden view and balcony?) After being fooled by the explanation, i complained to Agoda and they told to Agoda that the room type that i booked is occupied. so dissapointed that i didnt get a room type that i paid for. Why making an excuse instead of apologize? I was meant to stay here for 8 nights, but i already disappointed with this issue. - Room Aircon didn’t work well, so have to use fan too - Stayed 4 nights and they didn’t offer to clean the room -MY RESPOND TO OWNER’S ANSWER- 1. Price : No, i didnt come and visit to book direct. I book and paid deluxe pool access through Agoda before i arrived and i supposed to get pool access room without any additional fee. Why should i pay 30% more directly to you? That is your issue between Agoda, if you cant give the exact room type with that price, then no need to put the room type to avoid complain. Who is the scam here now? 2. I never threatened your staff to give bad review and i never asked for upgrade. I only ask the room type that i paid for. In fact i still nice to gave 3 stars instead of 1. so don’t twist the story nor exagerating! I complained to Agoda but i never threatened to anyone! 3. If cleaning the room is based on request, then tell your staff to inform the guest upon check in. 4. I am surprised how professional you are as an owner to respond a feedback from customer. And about the ghost, since you’ve mentioned it, its your loss 🙄

Will give you the best tip I can, stay away from this place! Go to Google and read about this place. They have an construction site right behind the hotell making it loud from early morning till night time. There is black mould in the rooms and also outside in the corridors. Have never experienced an owner worse then this, he lies and says everything to avoid solving problems. They were aware of things that were broken in our room even before check in but still tried to make us pay for it. Just don't go here! And I'm sure the owner will soon call this one a fake one :')

The first message that we can leave our suitcases at the reception an hour before check-in for a fee... Well, I don't know, so it was already wrong. Another thing is there is no clothes dryer. Borrow for a fee again.. Wrong again. The rooms are quite ok, they basically did not clean during the seven days of stay... The ugly and dirty walls around do not look very convincing. They should also work on the quality and cleanliness of the towels. I do not recommend this accommodation.

Budget friendly guest House with a nice pool. Rooms were a decent size and comfortable. A few negatives - both bed side lamps in my room were broken (wires pulled from plug) and a ceiling light was also not working leaving the room very dimly lit at night (I did report it). The AC was noisy in that it set up a vibration in the terrace door glass producing a constant rattling noise. Decent enough for the price

I expect this review to be flagged by Abyan Accommodation as fake, like the other negative reviews on Google. The owner should not work in tourism, he does not like people. His behavior is totally unprofessional, he is just looking for problems. It is unpleasant to meet such a person. He should adjust the accommodation to a better condition and learn to work better with people.

Location is great, walking Distance to the beach. Room is nice and comfy. Prefer to stay at ground floor room

We had a great stay at Abyan Guest House. The property is kept very clean and in great condition. All of the staff were super friendly. It was GREAT value. I highly recommend it. We will be back again soon.

There was no hand soap , no shower gel, no shampoo. NOTHING. We didn’t care about shower gel or shampoo but at least hand soap for washing hand would have been a lot nicer. We wanted to extend but the receptionist told us to text the manager. He was not helpful at all. Also. The owner has a bad habit of reporting honest reviews. We wanted to extend a night out of convenience more than anything else.

Well, not the best but worth your money. The place is located only 1kms away from the beach. It has parking space for scooters and only one space for cars. They actually ask for deposit money of 200.000 IDR, since I didn’t know and they didn’t mention at all, I had to go to the nearest ATM which is located around 2,5kms away. Eventually they gave it back fast without hassle after checking out. My main concern is that when I stayed, the place has tons of caterpillars in the pool area. Even I can see three inside the pool. Even if they are harmless, I felt uneasy every-time I want to hang around the pool. Apart from that, this place offers a nice and spacious room. It also has strong-pressured shower so pretty satisfying showering here.

We arrived a little early for checkin and they were still cleaning room. Said we'd go for a coffee and they said they'd charge us for leaving the bags with them. They also took a 200k 'deposit' from us. I've never been charged like this on arrival in all my travels. Rooms were ok. We stayed four nights and sheets were not changed. Cleaning was ok but could be better; manky taps etc, The aircon is really noisy. We turned ours off, but the noise from the neighbour's ac made a strange vibrating noise in our room and kept us awake a little. We changed to a different homestay. It's cheaper and better. I would say there are better places out there than this one. Incidentally, i asked to see the manager shortly after arrival, but did not meet him/her at all during our stay. [EDIT TO RESPOND: We were still in Padangbai at 10am. We arrived after 12pm. We were fine that we couldn't check in early - of course your cleaners needed to finish - our issue is your charges to hold our bags whilst we got a coffee. I didn't speak to your manager at all. You may wish to speak to your staff if they have told you differently]

I always stay here whenever I am in Sanur. The place is clean, comfy, quite, and sound. Bothe the owner and the employee here are helpful and respectful.

Stayed here for 3 weeks! SUPER clean! and friendly staff. great location only 5 minute ride to the beach! they also offer laundry services which was convenient! will for sure stay again when back in Sanur
