We are here in Bali on a vacation for a month with a 5-year-old child. This is the fifth hotel after the Kuta Seminyak Ubud Sanur area. We received unbelievable kind of services and enjoyed amazing infrastructure for such reasonable price. I’m still curious how such price is possible. Yes, in conclusion, my family was very satisfied and we extended our plan to 10 nights which was supposed to be only for 1 night. We are very sensitive to water quality bcuz we have a kid with allergies. So, we carry a shower filter separately. it's quite impressive that there was little change in the color of the filter until the very last day of this hotel. On a side note, the filter turned dark brown at a five-star hotel I just moved to. This rusty water problem exists significantly in almost every hotel/resort we have experienced in Bali, with the exception of the Cakra hotel. The location of the hotel was not a problem for my family at all. There were no noisy cars, motorcycles, and firecrackers at all and in the morning, we were greeted by a pleasant sound of the birds. The location of this hotel was even better for us to visit northern and eastern regions such as Ubud and Kintamani, Zoo, Safari and Blue Lagoon etc. The staff responded quickly to our requests for replacement of linen sets. The massage service in the room and the delivery service at the nearby mart were possible and fast. All the services offered at the hotel, including an unimaginable inner garden, a fairly spacious room/ limited but best-in-class concierge/ long and varied pools(under 1.5m~4m depth)/ well-managed garden/ shuttle services on weekend/ tennis court (lessons, hitting partners available on request) were so ridiculously amazing compared to the price. Some services were even better than some of five star ranked hotels Most impressive of all and if we come back to Bali, another biggest reason to visit this hotel again, 'THE STAFFs'. All friendly staff, including Suana the operations manager, Reception Debi, Restaurant staff Lina and Yuni and other staffs who we didn't get a chance to know their name. I would like to thank to you all once again for your warm-hearted hospitality and detailed service. Extra thanks for Suana who went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable here. He tentively listened to all our concerns we had in the beginning and did his best to meet our needs. The hotel's catchphrases are often just their wish but here in The cakra hotel, it's not just their wish. Their catchphrase “Second Home in Bali” was definitely right! Second home in Bali for Kong's family. We’ll miss you guys! See you again♡

I will not come back ! - I arrive for the check in at 2 pm.... I got the room 45 mn later. No any water to welcome you. - in the room there is a bad smell in the bathroom ( drain issue). It was a superior room. - i got a room connecting with another. When I arrived, nobody was in the nearby room... But later, when customers were inside the room, of course, even if they don't make a lot of noise, i hear them all. The hotel was not full as far, they can give me from the beginning a non connecting room. i don't understand why they don't take care of customers... I explained that at the time of the check out. They said sorry.... I will not come back.

the hotel is nice. but when I made reservations I asked for large bed, if not available they could inform me then I would cancel and book another hotel. but when I checked in they said only twin bed available. and they have not informed me before I came. It was late night and we were exhausted. and the room floor is dirty looks like they did not clean it. anyway is not big deal. but they nice enough to let us to have late checkout. also they have buffet breakfast which is plus.

The room was spacious and very clean. Even though the building of my room was quite far in the back, but I don't mind cause the surrounding was very clean and green. I'm impressed more when I realized it has a walk-in closet. I will defitinely be back when I have the chance. Thank you

Stay here for 4 weeks, absolutely one of the best place I've ever stayed in Bali. We get the deluxe room. The hotel is pretty big which allows you to walk around and also provide you with tranquility. They also provide you with a big room and big table so its very recomended if you need to work from hotel. Some notes are the wifi usually went on and off, if you stay here during events it will get a little noisy but still manageable. Best thing in this hotel is that you can find some pretty cats and play with them :)

1. The staff are incredible, nothing is too hard for them. 2 T he restaurant is excellent serving genuine Indonesian/ Bali meals with European options. The daily specials combined with a very comprehensive drinks menu make dining a pleasure. 3.The roos are clean and comfortable with air conditioning, and mini bar and fridge. 4. The pools are great, with the main poo; 107 Meters long, going from 1.5 to 4 Meters deep., the second pool near the restaurant has a spa. 5. The hotel is quite central and the front desk can arrange a vehicle and driver or scooter rental to visit near by Sanur. 6. You cannot beat the CAKRA for value.

Well, the brochure says “your second home in Bali,” I disagree. Instead I propose “your first home in Bali” Fantastic place! Pools, food, the staff are the best in Bali I’m sure. My partner and I, book Cakra as our clean and lovely stay between traditional home stays and small town hospitality. Clean, friendly, safe and white bed sheets? It’s perfect. Highly recommended. We (our fault) ran into trouble on two fronts with a booking mistake we made and they have been nothing but helpful fixing the issue. When we stayed and they were at full 800 room capacity, our room was not quite as nice as the first time, Cakra staff were quick to find a way to move us to a cleaner room, with even an upgrade! Staff fulfilled special requests to help dispose of a bag of rubbish and they helped us to get our clothes dried (soaking wet and clean, needed drying). Short version: Yes, pick this one :)

This hotel is truly exceptional! You feel like you're out in nature and not in the city! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Mardi and Surya took the time to share with us some wonderful information about best spots to visit and about the Balinese culture. Thank you ✨ You can have a massage in your room and my mom who got to enjoy it said that it was the best massage she's ever had. We will definitely be back.

Good clean room, the room is bigger than the pictures. Very close to the sanur harbour as well, but you should aware the traffic, it took about 40mins when we travelled to the harbour that day, it shows on google maps only 10mins by less traffic. You need to plan a early leave if you want to catch the boat

Garden is 5 star. Swimming pool is 5 star. Building is very good. Room is comfortable , but lacks local vibe. Breakfast is not fabulous, unless you are excessively into average, fried rice , fried noodle, porridge , cooked veggies and chicken, fragments of fresh veggies, Papaya and watermelon, orange /watermelon/detox juice. Coffee and tea are both not nothing fabulous. Yogurt was yogurt. All average foods and nothing special in Indonesia. Nothing Bali at all. 75,000rp. I wonder why someone impressed so big stating fabulous breakfast….. I am not quite happy the way this hotel treat me. Long checkout process indicates they are checking if I stole something from the room…. Restaurant offered me a drink and meal at 21:30 by voicing loud it is FREE due to so long waiting time the meal delivered. I am not such a cheap guest. But I asume there are such guests frequent here.

We had a very good stay at Cakra. Despite the traffic on the main road, it was very calm and relaxing at the hotel. We got the experience of a place in the nature eventhough we were in the city. The rooms were clean and spacious. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and nice. The people are very kind and helpful. The food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) was delicious and there was plenty of choice. I would suggest to try the detox juice at breakfast to start your day. Overall had a very good stay at the hotel and we would recommend it if you visit Denpasar.

Location near port for crossing to Nusa Penida. One of the oldest hotel in bali, but the maintanance is still good and have a pool that quite long. Staff really friendly and helpfull. Nice to staying in The Cakra Hotel

This place was honestly sooo beautiful, a little oasis. Staff very friendly, big rooms which were very clean. The pool with bridges were beautiful. Great experience, location was easy to get to but not really near anything.

I was here to have a class of scuba diving and other than the swimming pool I had access to a meal from their menu. Hands down, I had one of my best dishes in Indonesia. It was very colorful, and it had all it needed to make it a very satisfying meal. Very happy with it.

Stay with my family in this Hotel. Room was comfortable with Balinese style building. Breakfast menu need more options. Kids pool was great and clean, my daughter very happy spend time there. Upon chek in we escorted by YOGA, front office training, he has a good communication skill to the guest and can explain well the area on the short time walk to our room. In the future YOGA i think can be a good asset for any Company

VERY RECOMMENDED. Hotel with a huge swimming pool & garden. Quite place far from road noise, even the hotel is located on the main road (as i said, it is a huge hotel 😌😌) Landscape decorations are neat & tidy, well maintained. Perfect place for a family. Elders will love to walk around the hotel with their grands 😄😁. More than i expected for a 3 star hotel.

The place is good for gathering event since they had big outdoor spot. The room is aslo clean and comfortable. But unfortunately the place is far from local attractions.

The Deluxe room was modern, stylish and spacious with an exceptionally comfortable bed and sofa. The property is clean and well maintained, with no mould or ants. The 100m curvy swimming pool is amazing and situated in a beautiful garden. Friendly and helpful staff. We will certainly be coming back. Well recommended!

Very clean and modern style great and relaxing atmosphere. Good resto, and personally I like the arjuna coffee series. Definitely will be back, hope you have a price package for long stay.

This hotel is a gem on left side of the by pass in Sanur area. They have two swimming pools, one of those has a depth of 4 m! And a river like form, starts from 1,5 m dropped to 2 m and the final depth is 4 m. I saw some guests are training there to dive. Nice big and tidy rooms, big and clean bathroom and toilet. Nice terrace. Beautiful gardens and trees, architecture in balinese style. Beautiful surroundings!

We booked a Delux Suite room, and it was not mentioned in the reservation, but the only room, which was left, actually was with a bed on the second floor. Normally, I guess, it would not be a problem, but since we have a one-year-old baby, it was not safe for us to stay in it. The hotel staff were understanding and gave us another room, which was a King suite. When we entered the room we were surprised and truly appreciated what upgrade we have received. The room was super spacious, functionally well-designed, and tastefully decorated, with a large balcony and an astonishing view to the pool and garden. Room cleaning is organized every day, and done well and fast since several people at a time are performing it. The hotel territory is very large with well-maintained and beautiful gardens, a tennis court, 2 pools and even a billiard table so that everyone in the family could find the best entertainment for them. Certainly a family-friendly place. The hotel staff is very nice, polite and friendly. Breakfast was good and had enough variety. Wi-fi worked well. The location could seem far from everything, but, I think, it is a good base spot, from where you will be able to travel within the hour to the most famous Bali tourism objects. What you should take into consideration is that this hotel has a strict policy on check-in timing and you will not be able to get your room earlier than 2:00 pm, but if you arrive earlier, they have a nice lobby and hotel restaurant, where you will be able to wait. Check-out was fast.

I was having 2days biz trip... Surprising this hotel.make me feel like i was having holiday.... Very cozy, private place, clean Helpful and very frendly staffs... Price really affordable... Good location.. Sure will stay here again for my next biz trip

With the room costs at about IDR 300k/night, I would say this hotel is beyond my expectation! Rooms are clean and well-maintained, the river-like swimming pool is really beautiful, and the staffs are friendly and helpful. The hotel also provide free shuttle to Sanur on the weekend. The only thing need to be fixed is the pool depth sign on the river pool, which written as 1.5m depth, but in reality it is deeper than the sign (I think the actual depth is about 1.8m or more) since the misleading depth sign would be dangerous for people who can't swim.

The pool is really nice, they have a very long pool like a river, as well as a diver pool with 4-meters depth.

A good hotel to stay in Denpasar. With large ground for children and beautiful pool. Room are nice and tidy. However location wise this hotel is quite dari from a large number of the usual tourist attraction. Food are available buat most good food are not within walking distance. Traffic is bad as well during about 3-4pm

The entrance look like entry to an office building but the place inside is huge with 2 swimming pools a restaurant and a spa. I didn't expect such a great place at this price point. The decor is beautiful with lots of nature and artwork on the walls. The rooms are fairly clean, big and have a huge shower. The staff was professional and friendly. The minus for me was that the rooms aren't soundproof so you hear the bass of the restaurant music through your walls until 22.00 and in the morning you get woken up by the birds which are attracted by all that lush greenery. Would recommend.

Parking is too limited. Suggest that the lobby be airconditioned so new guests are comfortable and more impressed with the hotel's facilities. Also should have more selections for bread toppings.
