I have experienced something here that in no other hostel in my life. I don’t recommend this place at all. Shameful hospitality is the best word to describe the man managing this place. I stayed here one night and then I came back a couple of days later for another night. The man working in the hostel was so rude on my second stay and I didn’t understand why. When I came for the second time, everything was just weird. When I arrived, he wanted to check me in. I was so exhausted and I asked the man there to please wait. I needed to sit down and just relax some time. Then, I felt his tension. But I stayed super nice. Once I asked him, if it’s possible to clean the bathroom because it’s full of hair. And as you have to enter the bathroom barefoot, it would not have been nice to step on the bathroom floor with hair. Maybe that’s why he got offended. I don’t know. On the morning when I left I asked him politely: Could I have breakfast please? He said, yes. I was waiting for a long time and I realized he actually forgot it or just ignored it. So, I asked I think it’s his mom, if I could have breakfast. I also mentioned that I had already asked for it but she didn’t seem to know about it. When I left I asked him if he could show me again the the tailor on the map. He didn’t feel like he wanted to help. He said: “Ok, I’ll check it.” But then it seemed that he started doing something else and ignored my question. So, I approached him again and said: Sorry, I forgot it. Very slowly he started showing it to me on the map saying here it is. Then, I asked: “Are you sure?” He got offended by the question. I asked what’s wrong. I didn’t mean to ask anything wrong. I was super nice because I felt there is a lot of tension in him. He then started complaining because of my question, “Are you sure?” Anyways, I remained super nice. When I left the hostel: I said good bye to them in a very respectful and kind manner: “Thank you for everything and good bye!” He didn’t respond. It felt like a little boy who wanted to take revenge by not saying anything. I felt so bad when I left. I guess that was the intention of that man. I really hope that being rude to a guest satisfied him.

The place is clean and freshly refurbished. It's strategically located near warung and beach. Ms Suan and her son are friendly and courteous. Thank you!

Great experience! We stayed there few times during our trips and really satisfied! Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean and breakfast is good. Host is super friendly and helpful. We also rented scooter in this place. Scooter was almost new and for very good price (we used it for 5 days). Later we also booked ticket to Lombok for cheap price (asked few agents outside and their prices were much higher). Really great experience! Thank you very much!

Really friendly staff. Everything is quiet clean and the bed was comfortable too. The breakfast was Nice, you get Coffee or tee, some fruits, toast, jam and you can buy additional eggs. We payed 13 Euro for 1 night in a double bed room wich we found is a really good price. And when we asked for a laundry they organised that too. We can really recommend this place

My second home when I come for a few days in Sanur. Spotless clean, very friendly staff that makes you feel at home. I have stayed in both dorms and in a room. I like to go there because it is very quiet. It is not a party place. Guests are respectful, some are older like me:). There is a nice balcony on the second floor with a great view - I was doing my morning yoga there. It is located less than 10 minutes by bicycle from the beach, about 5 min. walk from one of the main road where you can eat and do some shopping... And all of this at a very good price! I highly recommend it. See you again soon Wayan & Anik

Fantastic guest house. Owner and family could not have been more hospitable. Extremely clean. Quiet location but just a few minutes walk from beach and main street with shops and restaurants. Loved it!!!

We had a lovely stay at Suwardika homestay. So far this is my favourite place to stay in Sanur. Wayan (the family’s eldest) picked us up at the airport at 1 am and greeted us with such warmth and friendliness, despite having had to wait for our delayed flight to arrive. His hospitality was beyond anything we’ve experienced before. The homestay is immaculately clean, our room had a big king-size bed, AC, good wifi, nice soft bedside lighting, bathroom with hot shower. Everything worked and felt new. It was quiet, away from the main road and no barking dogs. Great value/price. Breakfast was simple- toast and fruit. We loved it! We’ll be back. Thank you Suwardika family!

Don’t get me wrong. This place has got value for money. Especially when you’re just needing a bed to rest. The wonderful ladies in the property tirelessly handle the cleaning and maintenance of this place. However, you need to be cautious with the male owner of the property. His lousy attitude may in turn give an unpleasant experience and hurt his own business. Seems to get upset very easily and throw his tantrum at the wrong people. Upon arrival, he mistook me for someone else then started yelling and chased me away only to call me back in for check in 5 minutes later. After check out, I came back to pick up my bag and personal items. Again, he showed his displeasure by slamming his check in logbook onto the table. I have to pity all the wonderful people living with him. Especially his mom and wife who have to bear the brunt of his lousy attitude. A small message to the male owner, if you’re reading this. Hope you can take this feedback constructively as I am certain the people around you want you to be successful in running the business. I don’t know what issues or challenges you’re facing but I believe everything can be solved. I sincerely hope that you can get past this phase and develop to be a better man for the people around you. Very best of luck from me to you.

Very friendly staff. Good rooms with huge beds. Rather clean. Only 5 walk from Main Street and 15 from beach.

Lovely family Homestay, small but nice breakfast, great terrace to sit, take breakfast & meet people on. There's currently only 1x double and 1x 4bed dorm so it's very quiet. Easy to get everywhere from here with grab / gogek / scooter / walking

Amazing place to stay! They piked me up at the airport and got a bed made up for me even though they were fully booked because I mixed up my dates. Very lovely and welcoming!
