The most recommended hostel in Bali. Located near from the main road in Bali, Sunset Road Street. Near from Siloam Hospital, Kuta Beach, and Bypass Street. One good thing about this hostel that you won't find on another hostel is you can make a friend with the other visitor or traveller. Sharing all the things that you've got in your life, knowledge, experience, and meals or food of course. You can meet with the owner, Bang Bernie and discuss about everything with him. One more thing, you can cook and have a dinner together with all the guests of the hostel. So, this place is really recommended for you all the traveller. Hope this review can help you all guys 🤗

Very not recommended. The room is so dirty, smelly, a lot of mosquito, not clean at all and the most terrible things is the owner, he disrespect people including me. I never wrote bad review but I must warn people not to have same experience with me.

Beware travelers this place is a trap.. Yeah and as described before people appeared to be nice at first.. During my month long backpacking trip across SEA, i can swear that this was the worst place i have stayed till now.. The dormitory is just a big hall with non-ergonomic beds, no air-con, no fan and worst the place is infested with mosquitoes.. for a person like me who is allergic to mosquitoes it was hell for me sleeping there (still thinking of it gives me shudders).. Mosquitoes are literally everywhere it was, like a zombie invasion you kill some and more show up.. and again my phone got stolen by one of the staff there and by some grace i caught it red-handed from his bag with some US dollars and other stuff... I don't usually post reviews but the above incidents has forced me to post this for others not to fall to some trap here in Kuta, Bali.. and the isolated location of said place also adds to its creepiness.. so girls/ guys take your decision wisely.. Thanx.

Ucuza konaklamak istiyorsaniz kalabilirsiniz. They are helpful but the bathroom, toilet and kitchen are in very bad shape. I only had to stay for 10 days and leave. I went to the hospital and had tests done. I got an infection. The pool was not clean either. It definitely needs a complete overhaul and overhaul.

Out of all my accomodations on my long travel, this was the worst. Everything that can be broken, is broken. In the bathroom is no soap. The doors and walls are broken and the toilet doesnt flush...

Great staff, friendly check-in. Photos don't really reflect condition or state of property. Pool was not useable during our stay, and condition of towels, bed linen etc was poor. However, as hostel type accommodation the place is good with lots of noise, music etc creating a decent vibe. A decent hike to activities and in a less developed area so be prepared to walk or sort transport.

Very beautiful garden with a pool and a big hangout area, with many backpackers. Room wasn't very clean and there were lots of mosquitos, even inside the bed net. Amazing dinner, always vegetarian and home made. Best dinner I have eaten in Bali to this day.

Today I slept at the 16mix bedroom and was perfect. Mosquito met, air fan for every bed, all perfect clean and good smell from bed linen... Free supper and priceless the improvised live music from staff, also the two girls attending for check in are very helpful!!!!

Nice place to meet people, especially with the diner included. When I was there, there was a band recording an album, so cool folk music during your time in the lobby. Just too much noise at night and a lot of mosquitos in dormitory...

Very friendly people! They make you feel at home, they play guitar in the evening together in the common area by the pool. I've booked the begin and the end of my trip in this hostel because of them!

Let me begin by stating that I’ve stayed in hostels in over 30 countries and have never had a poor experience like this. They checked me into a different room then I had booked (no big deal) but the AC didn’t work properly and dripped water on the floor creating a puddle and a dripping sound. There were a lot of mosquitos and only a mosquito net over 1 set of bunk beds. I was moved to the bunk bed with mosquito net but it had holes in it so was effectively useless. They then sprayed fly repellent in an attempt to fumigate the room which nearly gave me an asthma attack lol. I politely explained that I wasn’t going to be able to stay there Due to these reasons and that I would like my money back. The manager “Bernie” then proceeded to get defensive. I explained I wasn’t mad and understand things happen but that I wasn’t going to be able to sleep in the room due to the reasons listed above and that I hadn’’t slept in the bed or spent any significant amount of time at their hostel. He proceeded to get more defensive. I began to use my phone to investigate another accommodation while he proceeded to talk to his co-workers in their native language while referencing my name. He then started playing “you can’t always get what you want” by the Rolling Stones on guitar (obviously directed at me and much to the amusement to himself). When I explained I was leaving and called him out on being disrespectful and ignorant he told me I was “ruining their good time” and that the money was already gone. I didn’t want to make the other guests feel Uncomfortable, as I wasn’t sure if they could understand the situation (language barriers), so I left without my money. This is my only recourse so I hope it helps people know what the guy running the place is like. First time having to leave a bad review in over 10 years of travel so take that for what it’s worth. GFY Bernie.

I and my 5 other friends booked it on traveloka thinking its a 6 person bedroom (just as the page says) only to find out its a 16 person double-decked non-ac bedroom. So we requested for a seperate room for the six of us amd they led us to 3-person and 2-person ac rooms for an additional fee. (Should i mention that beds come with mosquito nets cos there were lots of them, Balinese mosquitos). And also the general toilet was located some meters away from the rooms. The free nightly dinner in a big family table was a big bonnus for me tho.

Arrived late at the accommodation after prebooking a private room a few days before online. The guy at the desk was very kind and showed us to the room. However the toilet did not work, the sink initially just spurted out dirt and the bed linen had dubious stains on them. When questioned about the unclean room we were shown to another room, however this was no better with the same dirty linen. We were left with no choice but to cancel our stay and find another place to stay.
