Others have said it in their reviews - this hotel is old, tired, dirty, and shabby. Our room was noisy, the bathroom was not clean, and there was no hot water, only cold showers. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and there were some interesting and friendly long-term guests to chat with by the pool. But this hotel is grotty and loud, not good for resting.

We were disappointed even though we did not expect much. Quite dirty room with oily floor. After shower you dont feel clean at all and the water felt/tasted quite salty. With long hair it took ages to get shampoo out of the hair. Also nearby road is quite busy and you can hear all the noises. We booked the room for 11 nights but stayed there only two. One night before visiting other places and one night when coming back. Price of the room was very low to be fair.

Weeks before, i call the hotel to check my resv, and ask about the transit room type means, the guy who’s answering my phone said that it is okay, and i can have a full 4 nights stay w/out mentioning any charges. When i arrive, the front desk said there’s no reservation under my name, and i show them my phone to show my booking confirmation from agoda. They are so rude they even said “do u think its make sense u only paid this amount for 4 nights in a hotel?!” Its make sense to me coz i got that kind of promo a lot before. I just dont agree that u can speak that way to a guest. They allow me to stay only 3 nights and ask me to pay an extra 80k. So i need to find another hotel for the 4th night. Im just really tired and my child is already sleepy and cranky. And they put me on the third floor room at the very end of the hallway in the corner, and the elevator was out of service. So everytime i need to carry my child back up and down to and from third floor. The room lay out also odd. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone, not because of the property, but because of the staff services. As long as 3 night stay i only found 2 friendly staff. Mostly they only nice to foreigner guests, but not so nice to local guests. The internet doesn’t work, the bathroom clogged, they don’t clean our rooms everyday. They don’t even refill the bottled water

I have stayed at the Abian Harmony 3 times this year (2023). This hotel is my go to hotel for the east coast/Sanur area. Great staff, great location, great service. It’s about at 6 or 7 minute walk to the beach. A lovely pool in a quiet area of Sanur. If you are after an infinity pool overlooking the beach you are in the wrong place, but if want a great week priced hotel in a central location, this is it.

This was my second time staying here. Unfortunately, the pandemic has clearly taken its toll - the property desperately needs some revamps - it's dingy. The lobby is very dark. Lighting in the room is also dimmed. Damp walls with patches of peeling paint are present. I honestly do not understand the use of fake white brick wallpaper covering some of the wall in the room - why?. And also the huge black armchair in the room - why?. Lift was out of service. Breakfast was a bit sad, especially the coffee/tea area. I guess the service was okay, and I got a good deal for my booking. My room has a balcony with huge window facing the pool - so that's nice. Location is great, although the access road is pretty small. Parking is limited.

I don’t see any good reason to stay here when there are so many other places for a similar price that are much nicer. We felt the photos of the rooms were very misleading (deluxe double) Our room sucked. It was old, absolutely no ambience whatsoever. The walls were cracked and worn, the bathroom was… just odd? Like a small grey dungeon. The room was clean at least. But I didn’t wanna spend a second longer there than I had to. The hallways to the rooms don’t smell great. The decor is bad. There’s like pamphlets by the TV of how much you’ll be charged if anything is damaged. But honestly, the towels are like already ripped along the bottom stitching. And the bathroom towels look ripped in half. Our room was close to the elevator and all night long every few minutes we were lucky enough to hear the clunking of the lift mechanics. Very loud CLUNK. The room was noisy, we could hear so much stuff all around us. The staff were were kind, welcoming and accomodating and the welcome drink was delicious. It was easy and cheap to book a driver to the airport. The pool was nice. But this is the only good things I can say about this place. We booked a quick one night stay here on our way home, I wish I booked somewhere else. Stay somewhere else.

Big rooms, floor and bathroom are not really clean, comfortable bed, quiet and dark nights sleep. Nice little pool. You can get among the cheapest massage in Sanur here. The linen seems to be used multiple times.

Location: perfect in the middle of everything, from mini marts, restaurants, close walk to beach, massage in house, motorbike rental in house with very great price. Service: Always greet with smiles and always accommodating with any requests. Overall very pleasant experience.

The staff was so helpfull and nice. We stayed for a couple of days before travelling around Bali. The main area is cozy and beautiful, a great place to relax. The breakfast is also very good. It’s located close to the very beautiful beach and a lot of good restaurants. We checked out at 11 am but we were first leaving af 9 pm. The staff was so nice and let us hang around the lounge, the pool and even offered to use the spa’s bath. The rooms have what you need, a little rough around the edges but we mainly slept there so it was perfect for us

While service from staff here is extremely good and exactly what you would expect from the Balinese, the hotel is so so run down. Sadly the rooms were just so dirty and in great disrepair, much like the rest of the hotel. The pool towels smelled horrendous and the toilets by the pool were so smelly I was shocked. The pool however was lovely on the end where you enter and it was beautifully cold. This hotel needs a lot of upgrades but for the price per night I guess you get what you pay for. We only stayed for one night because it was the cheapest and we were travelling on to Lembongan the next day. The staff again were amazing and are doing a wonderful job, but the hotel experience was less than average sadly.

Overall good value for the price (aprox 35AUD not including breakfast). Good location with restaurants and the beach nearby. Nice pool area, with sun beds and tables around, nice lobby area. They have a spa and offer scooter rental, but we didn’t use the services. Big size room, Hot shower. Pool towels provided (not the newest ones). Good aircon & Comfy bed. Breakfast offered for 50k, we didn’t try it, There’s a nice coffee shop downstairs with almond croissants. Nice staff. Wifi wasn’t very good - not suitable for digital nomads. I believe we were given the ugliest room as it was different from all the others we could see when they were getting housekeeping. No desk, which we needed, the others had a desk. Strange empty spaces in the room. Not very clean as there were spider webs on the bathroom walls. Needs some love as walls and ceiling have marks. No table outside on the balcony. Shower sometimes had a funny smell.

A nice budget hotel with nice pool inside hotel square. Breakfast is fine and staff is very helpful and ukderstands most English. Rooms are a bit worn but they are large and good quality. Some are facing the road with some noise whereas rest a with balcony facing the pool.

Excellent location, close to cafes, restaurants and 5 minutes walk to Semawang and Sanur beaches. Refreshing pool, large clean rooms with fresh water daily. Good variety for breakfast, awesome latte. Staff and management were courteous and very helpful. Overall, a great holiday experience for a reasonable price.

My wife who is Balinese and of Brahmana caste stayed here and was treated like garbage by the staff, if you're not white you'll be ignored and spoken to like garbage. The staff even accused her of not being able to pay for her stay, utterly shameful, a disgrace. The place isn't clean there's a horrid smell and I wouldn't give that breakfast to a pig!

Great hotel to stay in Sanur area when you are in the budget. Room is clean and fresh. Water are refillable. Shower hardly has warm water, like it is limited by hour (not sure) but its quiet. Got a good night sleep. Will definitely come back if I need place to stay.

Good value. The staff eager to please. Room clean and comfortable. Everything worked. The room was not quite ready when I came to check in, so they offered me a free foot massage. Very central. Nice pool and breakfast.

What a great place to stay. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Clean rooms and really nice food. The owner put on a special Balinese meal for the guests. The pool is great with a swim up bar, what more could you want. Highly recommend.

Just finished my stay here at Abian Harmony. I’ve stayed here multiple times over the years. They’ve done a really good job recouping from what COVID did to their business. As always the staff were very friendly, rooms very clean and cool, lovely decor and cultural artwork throughout. The swim up bar wasn’t running (other than beer) because of COVID, but fear not, I paid for all the alcohol they needed so now the bar is back up and running! I spoke with the owner and he is now inspired to turn it into a sports bar! The massages are top class as well, I had about 5 massages this trip, and the one I had at the hotel was BY FAR the best one, spa bath included. Thanks Abian! I’ll be back!

Masseuse horror story and not a nice place at all! If this is your only choice, choose the street! No but seriously - I’ll start with the minor first: vibes are seriously off, staff not friendly and the actual place is super dark and in need of major renovations. Bathroom smelled very bad. Most significantly, when getting a massage the masseuse exposed my private area without consent! This has never ever happened to me before- what is the point of the sheet if you will quickly remove it without warning or consent? Really a horrible experience and left me feeling terrible the rest of my stay. Staff has no desire to make the stay feel comfortable and take advantage of you when they can. Seriously stay somewhere else for your own sake.

Great hotel for a very reasonable price. I am staying here for 2 weeks and enjoyed very much. Best location in Sanur, and you can find many very good restaurants right next to it. It has a pretty good clean pool. After difficult time during COVID, the hotel is recovering well. Looks like already fully staffed now, and staffs are kind and helpful. Good parking, free refillable drinking water, sizable room, not pricey at all. Highly recommended! I extended two times here. Sanur is also the best town in Bali if you ask most foreigners living here for a long time. I will try to add more photos for it next time. Special thanks to Guyos and Arsa who have been very help to me.

we stayed a couple of nights and found it OK - the room was adequate, but like others have mentioned, dated and could do with a spruce up. we didn't experience any mould or dampness though. the location was awesome if you like gelato. just around the corner is Momissomo's and it's not to be missed. The staff where always super friendly and provided us with some great assistance in hiring bikes and general advice about the local area. always up for a chat by the pool as well.

Location: strategic. Surrounded by restaurant, minimart, boutique, coffee shop and etc. it also less than 10 minutes walking to the beach Place: easy to find and have their own entrance Room was surprisingly big and good for their offer price. There is refrigerator, tv, and balcony. their water for shower taste a little salty and their hallway need more lamp in the night. My room was ini 3rd floor and i need to lift my luggages by stairs from 2nd to 3rd floor, coz to go to my room their elevator only can catch to 2nd floor (Cant thank u enough for their staff who helping me lift my luggages)

Place is a dump. The room was dirty (don't even want to know what was on the wall behind the toilet) and bathroom growing mold. Outlets were falling out of the walls. The paint on the walls was peeling. I didn't trust their kitchen because of the way everything else looked, so I skipped the free breakfast. (And I love free breakfast!!)

Abian Harmony is very well located, quiet, comfortable and fully equipped for every traveller's needs. Above all, the staff and management are helpful, friendly and competent. With one of the best hotel breakfasts on offer for only IDR50,000 and very affordable luxurious rooms, most guests would struggle to find a hotel to match it in Sanur.

I do not recommend this hotel, my experience of staying one night was very very uncomfortable because of very noisy sound of the air condition, indoor outdoor the same like sound of helicopter. Room prices doesn't match with a conditions..Deluxe room but no bathrobe, sleepers 😠. A smell from the bathroom is very strong, stinky, dirty everywhere, breakfast was not good at all. nice staff but unprofessional. .

Very nice and comfortable beds. The bathroom was disgusting, full of rust, hairs, dirty in general All the glasses and cups had some paper stuck on them, but maybe just because they had been drying it with toilet paper or something like that....

Stayed here for two nights because I need a room for my work around the area. The hotel is not perfect, but for the price I paid in relation to all the facilities I had during my stay here, I can't imagine finding a better deal. Really enjoyed my stay and am thinking of coming back in the near future 👍

The staff works hard to ensure guests are comfortable and I feel at home here. Stayed for 21 days and spoiled by the staff's friendliness and helpfulness. Breakfast selection is good, with latte and cappuccino. Plus point for saving the earth, each room is equipped with glass water jugs (instead of the plastic bottles of complimentary water). Water dispensers are strategically located all over the property for us and the housekeeping staff to refill our water jugs ! Hotel is a tad run down especially after covid, they are looking into improvements. Shout out to Citra and Fira for giving good recommendations and directions to local eats and essentials. Great location easily accessible by foot to the beach and everything I need.

We stayed one day at bad smell room. Otel was ruined completely. All rain was inside the rooms and corridors. Ceilings and walls were mouldy. I couldn't find any good thing to tell here except personel. They were nice and helpful. Owner of hotel should do maintenance ASAP!!!

  • 4/5 Anna N. 1 year ago on Google
Good budget hotel, very affordable, comfortable, friendly staff & good pool area. Only concern is the massive amounts of mould through the second floor. Our bathroom roof was covered & even leaking at one point. If you’re not concerned about the mould it’s perfect :)
