The flavors of the dishes we got were nothing short of spectacular!! My husband and I shared lachha parataha with curry, samosas, and paneer tikka masala. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor bombs in these dishes. The spices were just what we were looking for. The only improvements I would suggest would be the portion size on the paneer tikka masala. It was a bit smaller than expected. I also thought it should have been served with naan. Overall, this place is amazing! We will be back!

I don’t know what is with all the good reviews. Food is not good and super small quantity. Chole of chole bhature was just tomato gravy. Veg thali, roti was minuscule and thin, sabji of aloo has no taste. We asked for some extra pickle as nothing had any taste, was asked 5000 for it. Definitely worth closing down the shop, don’t go here. Reply to the owner for the item they responded: As you have the cctv footage of the eatery, please check your cctv footage again, no one asked for any free dal. I asked for some pickle, and was asked money for it. I have edited my review. If I don’t like the food, but pay 150,000 for it, I’ll eat it, why not? It’s my hard earned money. Wont you charge for it if I don’t eat? It is not about enemy, even if my friend will serve food like this, will get the same review. There is nothing dirty about it. I’m eating Indian food for 30 years, without the cooks help, wont be able to feed myself good food, please don’t serve bad food even to your enemies :) Hope you all the best.

It's truly a gem! Their food is amazing! Purely vegetarian and most unbelievable the chef is Balinese local lady who is very dedicated to her passion, she flew to India a few times to learn the real Indian home cooking, its not only food but its love and in Bali area consider very affordable for Indian food.. a must visit! I will definitely come back 😍🤤

this was the worst Indian food I ever had. You pay way more than at the other warung but get very little food. The sauce on the picture didn't have any vegetables or meat in it: all that for Rp. 65.000. They also made me pay 5.000 too much cause they didn't have change (so 70k all in all). Not recommended.

Really really enjoyed our food here! Do note the paratha and tomato curry dish is a very small portion of curry, more like a large dip but it worked and was delicious. Great prices.

Nice place for delicious veg food and for vegetarian peoples ..there are limited options but taste is yummy. We tried veg fried rice, chole bhature, alu paratha, Dal khichdi and all are delicoous. Owner & cook is a local lady & She is very humble and honest.

This is small eatery joint in desi food centre opposite to Hotel diamond. This was first place we went reaching Bali. We ordered an Indian thali , chapattis were sour like curd. Curry was sour too only good thing was salad. After eating at this place we were so disappointed thinking that we will get this kind of food only. Luckily that didn’t happen, we installed gojek food app and got our food delivered from good vegetarian restaurants.

Really good vegetarian food! Smells great in the restaurant as they prepare food freshly once you order. Loved the aloo sabzi with Puri, the Masala Chai was kadak👍 When we went the next day again around 9 PM, the food was almost over, so beware to go early and order :)

Unfortunately can't agree with the good reviews here. We waited approx one hour for our food while there was no customer before us. Customers after us left without their food because of waiting time - maybe a temporary staffing issue? When the food came the portions were tiny :( the dal barely had lentils - was more like a watery soup. For 40-50k per dish you can find a lot better in Bali. Recommend to increase portion sizes or drastically reduce prices 🙏

horrible horrible horrible we waited for 1 hour for our food and when it arrived they just provided the dal and chapati...sabji they said will take 30 more min, I am not sure what they were expecting us to eat sabji with. utter unprofessional staff (or I would say just 2 people) with lot if attitude....even after 1 hr they were asking whether we really want subji or not. our full order included lacha paratha as well...that I don't think so they even started cooking....that would have taken 2 more hrs I guess. poor restaurant...I would say the worst I have seen in my whole life. when finally leaving and giving lecture to them about not to waste other people time like this...they said keep talking as we don't understand English :) Avoid avoid avoid such pathetic place

We were in search of pure vegetarian hotel in bali and we landed to this hotel. We used to order food from grab. We almost tried all there food varieties in 4 days and all the items were super delicious. It felt like we are in india and eating mumbais food. That lady is soo good and calm like whenever i call her she talks so sweetly and do all the required changes in our food. Pure vegetarian this is the place for us. U can blindly eat her food by ordering or visiting the hotel.

Great place with authentic tasting indian food run by the sweetest person. Do visit and try it for yourself if you're in Bali (especially in the Kuta area).

I would call it best budget quick grab place. You don't have a great variety, but the major things you can try for sure are alu paratha, chole bature The lady is really helpful, humble and polite. On one of day when I was fasting, I requested her for just boiled potatoes which she gave me at very reasonable price It's a pure vegetarian restraunt, but the rating is considering the food option, cost and nature of the lady who prepare and serves food Do also try lacha paratha, she makes it pretty well. Do not compare to typical Indian food, consider it Indonesian Indian food and you will be happy

Nice little place to have delicious Indian vegetarian food. We tried chole paranthas and idli sambhar. The masala tea wasn't good but overall a great place. The owner learned Indian cooking from a chef from Gujarat.

We loved jain biryani. It was authentic and tasty. It felt as if I am eating food prepared in India. Dal tasted as if it was home made. It was among the few pure vegetarian outlets in Bali and it was fantastic. Would surely visit it if I could get a chance to explore Bali once more.

We have walked 1Km from our hotel to the test indian food And its worth it. We eat chole bhature and bhaji pav and its very testy and same like Indian test. Also, they are using sunflower oil for making food. Its good thing. We like both items and recommend for indian its definitely fulfill your requirements. Note :- Bali weather is little warm so please provide fan for your customers. Take care of them.

Looking for tasty daily indian food, so this is the place in this area. Veg only restaurant. Amazing Aloo Paratha, none less than made in India. Place doesn't look good but who cares, if the taste is good. This kitchen offers take away as well with no extra cost and best part to highlight, none of the cook are Indian :)

Location - it is located in a food street kind of place where this is the only Indian restaurant. Rest are Chinese, Balinese etc., so it is accessible easily Ambience - this is a small restaurant and this can accommodate only less people but it is decent inside the restaurant and I really like the design of the wall Staff - service is good and the staffs are open. Food - this is really good. You will not your Indian taste with less price compared outside Only con I see is, they will delay at times when there are more people since the food preparation area is small Overall I will recommend this place

Pros - Food is good and tasty Cons - Minimum waiting time is 1 hour to get your dish. Fans here don't even work so it's very uncomfortable with the extended wait time. Portions are extremely small. Staff barely understands anything you say. Very difficult to make them understand what you want as they don't know English. It was not a pleasant experience even though food was good

Price is very reasonable and its very sweet though small place. Very good option for India tourists. The lady is very cool and calm. Service is also fast. Worth trying.

Small joint but enough space for all the Vegitarian in Bali. Lip smacking food with typical indian preparation and taste. My wife is a vegitarian so it was a bliss for us. Thank you Lambodar.

  • 1/5 Eric K. 1 year ago on Google
It was rather tasty, but the daal soup was tiny (just a few spoons) for 45k and the biryani very small as well. The cooking took 1 hour. The cook probably did her best but she was understaffed maybe. I’ve seen vegetarian buffé or huge plates of rice and tempeh for 50-80k during my 1 year living in Bali. This is not worth it

Lambodar Indian foods is very good restaurant specially for Indian vegetarian. This is only place in Bali where you get only pure veg India foods. They are also prepared as per your choice of test. Staff of lambodar is very cooperative and make very testy foods. They are alway happy and ready to serve as per customer choice. Finally this is best place where you get Indian rest. Masala tea is superb.

Best Indian food restaurant in kuta. Must have food here at least once. We stayed 3 nights in kuta and had dinner here every night. Heiti the owner and chef has learnt cooking at Rajkot, India. So her skill for cooking Indian food is impeccable. Highly recommend this place for Indian food 👌👍
