Very nice coffee and what a unique look of the place? So old school, traditional Javanese look. It's cool even during the shiny day. Loving the chill atmosphere. Came here in the morning so it's really quiet. Maybe it's crowded at night when the weather is cooler...the romance vibe is worth the while.

Karakter Kopi was a unique, local vibes, and humble specialty coffee shop. Actually their hot cappuccino was pretty good, but it was not a laptop friendly spot to work. Will drop by again someday when visit Denpasar.

Home of traditional. Classic house of indonesian in old days, bring past to memorable to these day. All decorations placed in state of art. This reflected of cultures of Indonesia. Great selection of menu, light but its the way it is, cos this place for hangout, chilout with friend (youngsters) and not recomended for family. You might be find a outdoor area to more fill the atmospheres and ambiance. Recommended place to visit if you are in bali. This is my first time visit. Great food and beverages taste, with affordable price.

Good ambience, unique architecture and nice place to get together. They have wide variety of coffees and snacks available, quite good coffee taste with fair price. Outdoor seating also available while it always crowded at night.

A coffee shop with characters indeed. Really love the way they repurposed an old traditional house. The coffee selection for manual drip is great, showing the owner's love to coffee as well. Just a small minus on the atmosphere: the owner lets people to smoke & vape in the 'kitchen'. I would prefer for the smokers to do it outdoor, not near the 'kitchen' where the barista brews the coffee.

The place are not like ordinary coffee place that you can find in Bali, the vintage setting on furniture and decor are quite unique. Love their special Karakter Ice Coffee and Avocado frappucino. Ordered Mie goreng and Spagetti which turned out OK, not special, but not bad either.. recommended place for hangout place with friends, with homie ambience.

A coffee shop designed beautifully with strong traditional accent of its main building. The sitting area surrounds the main building and the capacity is big. Located in the centre of Denpasar and near some of universities make it a very strategic place to hang out. The price there is quite affordable. I bought my hot cappuccino for IDR 22k without any extra service charge or tax and they provide free mineral water. They also offer manual brew. The staff there are friendly and helpful. Despite its main building, I also found it unique when I noticed that they use portafilter to replace some stuff like faucet and doorknob. Though according to my opinion that their cappuccino is not that special, it is a good coffee shop to visit when in Bali :)

japanese ice coffee tastes good but doesn't like the presentation. Thank u for free cold water 🙏🏻 badut dan penyanyi jalanan bisa masuk jadi berasa dipasar senggol 😅🙏🏻 no receipt after payment and no free parking (not big deal)

Came here on Sunday night and the place was nice for hanging out🤩 big outdoor open space, the building is also unique. The coffee was not bad, quite good! My favorite part was the entertainment, you can borrow board games & there was a saxophone player as well who played good music Will definitely come back👍🏻

Karakter Kopi is one of the most beautiful and charismatic coffee shops I've ever seen in the world. It's built in a traditional wood Balinese house. Inside they showcase a wide range of coffees from roasters around the world!

Coffee was super good. The interior sucks sorry they try to look rusty but it’s a real rust & dirty. Cigs smells everywhere. It’s so weird they charge you 1,7% for QR payment method but when I tried to pay with cash they said they have no change, how should I pay then??

Love the ambience in here, old building with the antique furnitures, they have a lot of games to be played and of course the taste of their coffe and food were good .. and for sure the price is not that expensive 🙌🏽🙌🏽

Coffee is really good, service is also good. Staffs are friendly. Wifi is pretty strong if you need to do work here, there’s no AC but still quite cooling on a hot afternoon. Very interesting set up and decoration. They seems to have a lot of certifications and also take pride in their coffee making. Their gesha filter coffee sold out, maybe can come earlier. We tried their v60 and ice signature karakter. Will come back again.
