Nice Indian hotel. Decent veg and non food. Pricing is economical. Serving portions r lesser than usual as per pricing. Recommended place for Indian food.

Update May 2019: No idea what happened to this place, I'm embarrassed my 5 star review is still up. I ate at this place well over 20 times now and the quality has gotten worse and worse over time to the point where I can not justify going back again. Last time the chicken makhani was disgustingly salty, could barely eat it, but I let it slide given our history. Today though put the nail in the coffin. I had been wanting to try the paneer makhani for awhile now and what I got was basically a tiny portion of tomato soup with a little butter and a few small pieces of green pepper, onion and paneer in it. That is not how you make a proper butter masala! My God, such an abomination of a meal. ---------- Old Review a year or so prior to memorialize what could have been: Best value Indian food in all of Bali hands down! (Maybe even all of Indonesia) We've eaten here 10+ times now and have come on a weekly basis since we first discovered this gem. Having eaten my favorite dish of Butter Chicken all over the world including India I can certify that they nail this dish. It is awesome and you need to experience it. Also if you're debating between here and Queen's Tandoor go here no question. QT is awesome if you don't mind paying for food with your first born or one of your limbs (it's ridiculously expensive for Indian food for those who don't get American idioms). Tiffin is less than half the price and just as good, even better in some respects. The free appetizer chips are amazing too! We got like 4 of them one time between two of us and bought one to take home because it was so delicious and the next time we came back they started charging for the 3rd one (sorry we ruined it for everyone else) but you still get 2 for free and it's only 10k if you want more so very reasonable. Screw the generic Italian and Greek restaurants on either side, pick Tiffin, you won't be disappointed.

just had the most unpleasant / un appetizing meal in tiffin on petitenget. ordered the koffta curry with parattha (after asking if they had chapati on the menu and they said they only had paratha) what Indian restaurant doesn't have chapati??? The parattha was not even a parattha it was like a thick uncooked flakky pizza dough like bread and the koffta curry was tasteless and watery with random vegetables which were over cooked. The second dish I ordered was the mutton curry with a side of sourdough bread, what came as a sourdough bread was a white bun which looked like a bread roll which was doused in oil might have even been ghee buy who puts ghee on sourdough bread especially if u wanted to soak up the gravy from the mutton curry (which by the way was served with very little gravy). The Mutton was not tender and the potato seemed that it was from the freezer to the pan... wish i had taken a picture of what I ordered to post. The lady that served us was very sweet and help full tho so all i can say is the service was good but not the food. Sad as i was really looking forward to give tiffin a try as i am a big indian food fan. Doubt i will go back for a meal What a bloody disappointment

Not happy with the food, they re-heat the frozen food and give it. There is nothing called as 'freshly cooked' food there.

Service = 5 - they accommodated us with a request for dosa even though they only serve that until 5pm, Food = 3, Mutton curry was fantastic, parantha's were tasty and starters were exceptional...dosa could have done with slightly more seasoning and all dishes needed slightly more spice for my tastebuds. Ambience = 3, music was too low to hear when outside and chairs could do with some cushioning. Overall we felt really welcomed and gave us a nice warm fuzzy feeling. Would recommend this place.

The taste of this restaurant, remind me of my favourite Indian hawker in Singapore, so yummy & balance. I think I need to go there again

Awesome Indian food - it's the perfect balance between authentic flavors and unique take. It's really not the typical Indian place. I particularly enjoy the selections and the fact that we can choose as many as we like as the portions are just right - not overly big or rich! The Chicken Makhani (Butter Chicken) and Potato Chaat are to die for! Give it a try... !

Nice road side ambience. Food is close to indian taste but still brings a mix of local taste also. Thumbs up for the Masala Tea - Great taste and served in a unique way.

Very good Indian food adapted to international tastes (not too spicy). Very nice decoration, especially the cutlery and plates. This place opened a few month ago in a stretch that includes a lot of other great restaurants. I will be back whenever I'm in the mood for Indian food as there aren't that many great Indian restaurants in Seminyak

I am a big fan of Indian food, and while on holidays in Bali I found this little restaurant. We were not sure whether to try it or not because it is relatively new and there were no reviews available. However, while checking the menu this lady came and introduced herself, the menu and restaurant. She turned out to be the owner and we just couldn't say no. The food is amazing! The menu has the perfect amount of offers, making it easy to choose. The dishes are tapas style so you can try as many options as possible. The Butter Chicken and the shrimps are outstanding! By the way, after talking to the owner (Ashwini) we found out that she is also the chef! ... If there is something that they can improve is the service during the meal. We experienced slow action from the service employees for clearing dirty plates or offering extra drinks. Besides that the experience was outstanding!

Pathetic food, the chapati were stale and unchewable. Paneer makhni was hell.

Just bad...food looks Indian but tastes...???....well don't know...the only plus point is the staff....avoid if possible....

  • 5/5 Agnes B. 6 years ago on Google
Without a doubt the best and most progressive Indian restaurant in Bali. It’s a small restaurant that manages to serve real Indian flavors while introducing more “modern” dishes too. Service is friendly and on point, prices of value.

Overly salty, overly spicy. Price is reasonable but the taste is.... Just prepare to have diarrhea in the morning after this food.

Located at a prime location but taste is not that good. Tried some of the North Indian vegetarian options available over there but got disappointed with the taste, some of them were salty and some of them were salt less. Staff behaviour was good, food could be better for this price.

Pleasant enough place and the food was good without being great. The mini samosa were disappointing as a couple of them had split during frying but got served up to us anyway. The menu is quite small so we pretty much ordered most of the items between four of us. Generally the food was reasonably tasty with nothing particularly standing out.

  • 1/5 Jacqueline H. 5 years ago on Google
If I could do less than one star I would! Please don't go here and waste your money!! I ordered the vegetarian samosas...they were OKAY, overly salty but tolerable. Then came the main dish, the "paranthas" were basically frozen prepackaged kind that they quickly heated up in oil or something. The kofta dish was the same, it was prepackaged you could instantly tell based on the fact that the gravy was all OIL. I should have known better as the surrounding restaurants were busy and I was the only one at the restaurant. Biggest red flag: the food comes out in seconds! The staff was kind and did their best to provide good service but the manager was a woman who sat there and bossed her staff around and spoke to them rudely while she sat on her phone or starred at herself in the mirror. Please Please do not go here even if you are slightly doubting my review even then do not go here.

👍👍 I'd recommend reserving for brunch if you want to sit indoors. I ordered the Full English Bunny Breakfast which was very good. Every ingredient was delicious and it came in a lightly toasted brioche bun. For the drink I ordered the Strong Boy - I highly recommend it 👍
