Excellent coffee, perhaps the best I've had in Bali. Nice cosy spot with a great staff. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Seminyak!

Love the coffee that they brewed. Ordered the filtered coffee, espresso shot, and latte. Everything were done flawlessly. I have never tasted such a sweet latte before from my 3 years of my coffee journey. Moreover, you guys need to try their decaf coffee, they used different processed method (CO2) to process their beans. I don't really like decaf coffee but this one is different! The barista was able to do requested latte art! They are also super friendly! I would recommend to all my friends that come to Bali for sure! Hope to see Expat branch in Singapore 🇸🇬

I would recommend to visit Expat when you're in Bali, trust me they have good coffee to try. I really appreciate when they give detail tasting notes, so I can learn about coffee tastes while enjoying my cup of coffee. I haven't try another menus yet 'cause I was visiting in rush hour and quite short vacation. But, I'll be back when I'm in Bali 👌

The place is small. The service is good. I tried matcha with oat milk and banana bread with coffee butter. I liked everything. I was very surprised by the coffee butter.

Very friendly and communicative Baristas! You get to choose between 3 coffee blends, I chose nomad and it tastes amazing! Very recommended cafe for coffee lovers. I personally enjoyed the coffee at this place out of hundreds of cafes I've been to.

What's the point to show working hours till 4pm if you stop brewing coffee at 3.40? It's a coffee shop, not restaurant with the kitchen. Very disappointing. Good quality coffee though. No complaints for that.

As coffee lovers, i love to have good coffee. And expat is one of the coffee shops that serves a good quality of coffee. I try hot long black with house blend beans (I chose the strong one called patria). The coffee is very good. Besides the house blend, i also try single origin Bali Kintamani which brews using v60. This also tastes good, you can taste the acidity of the bali kintamani. The barista is so friendly, helpful and very informative. They explained one by one of the coffee they had. If you reach here using a car, don't worry they have valet parking to help you park your car.

Mellow and smooth flat white to start your day. I tried other coffee shops around the area and Expat was the only one that delivered we ended up patroning everyday during our stay. When given choices whether you want the strong (Patria) or medium blend (Nomad), I found that Patria was mellow and went really well in lattes or cappuccino, while Nomad was slightly more acidic. Bought their Nespresso capsules to try at home as well, and while it was good, but it was closer to V60 result than espresso in my opinion. Alas, it's still enjoyable. Service was excellent, the baristas were all accommodative and communicative. And oh, to my surprise, pastries are not only second thought here. Other roasters can learn from Expat when it comes to pastry. Croissants are perfectly flaky, and they also serve generous amount of condiments should you order something other than plain croissant. Five stars.

The coffe was very good but 104,000 rp for a cortado, latte, and soda water is a bit exorbitant. If price is no concern then i would definitely reccomend it. However if you arent looking to spend a egregious amount i would recommend walking 50 meters to manaka coffee for a better coffee at a reasonable price.

Small place but the toasts are good, should try ham and cheese. You can share with your friend/partner to taste more. The coffee is good. They are really the experts.

Love the coffee, the best in Bali I think. The place was ok, just standard ruko. The staff was very nice and informative. I was throwing hundreds of questions and she was patiently answering every one of them. The coffee packaging was nice but it's a bit hard to scoop the coffee out of it.

"Expats Roasters in Bali is an absolute delight for coffee lovers! Their flat white is crafted to perfection, offering a rich and smooth experience that stands out in Bali's vibrant coffee scene. Don't miss out on their banana bread – it's moist, flavorful, and pairs wonderfully with their coffees. A cozy ambiance and friendly staff make this a must-visit spot for anyone craving top-notch coffee and snacks!"

Great coffee. They use honey as sweetener instead of sugar. Higher quality soy and almond milks (Bonsoy). Dirty chai, chai and matcha was great!

Always be my favorite coffee shop in Bali even they have opened new store in Jakarta. The coffee is very safe for sobat asam lambung. The cafe’s ambience is warm for introvert like me with less crowded. They have a nice playlist as well 😍

The long black with house blend is full bodied, with notes of berries and citrus. The cookie is not overly sweet. Its a little crunchy on the outside and soft inside, just how I like it. Ambience is very chill. Well done 👍

It’s located in a busy junction of Seminyak. There’s a huge signage of Expat you wouldn’t missed it! FLATWHITE was on point! I like that they do what they do best just by selling coffee and pastries. We even bought some nespresso capsules to bring back home!

One of the best coffee in Seminyak! Love their passion for coffee. All coffee lovers should come at least once. Ordered a flat white and V60. The barista was showing us their new toy, an aerator! Was too engrossed listening to their explanation, forgot to take pics of it.

As a coffee fan, this is one of the best coffee I had (flat white, nomad blend) and matcha latte. Their tuna toasties is also delicious. The whole service crew are friendly and helpful with recommendations. Highly recommend you to visit them!

Coffee was great, service was excellent. The food could be improved. I went for two consecutive days because the service and coffee was so good. I tried the cookie and almond brownie, both taste good, but a little disappointing compared to the coffee. Cookie texture was not quite right, no crispy edges, no soft indulgent center, and not quite punchy for the taste. Almond brownie also has a problem with texture with a muted flavor. I expected a fudgy texture brownie to have more indulgent taste. Atmosphere wise, it seemed like a really great community spot. I noticed the staff were all aware of regulars, thus enhancing the experience.

Best coffee in Bali from my point of view. Lovely staff, always open for a chat. If you’re a matcha lover, try their hot matcha latte with almond milk. Pure heaven! ;)

Finally I can get here after several times I have passed by this coffee shop and saw it was closed after working hour. I asked barista what time the coffee shop in operation then she said, they open from 7:00 AM to 04:00 PM precisely. Ordered cookie, cappuccino and chocolate ice. Those are all good for me. Balnced tasted and sweet enough for chocolate ice. I also bought their beans (Java Frinsa), brewed it with v60 at home and the taste was great. The sweetness, body, acidity and a little bit spice are balanced. Worthed with the price.👌

One of the best coffee experiences I’ve had. You can browse through all their products on display while you wait for your coffee and by the time you get your coffee you’ll end up buying almost everything on the shelves. Good coffee knowledge and friendly staff.

Love this place! Nice ambience, stylish interior design, great coffee and a little shop where you can buy coffee beans, clothes and some items for making coffee. Lovely staff. It’s a small place and it’s great for chatting with a friend or having coffee on your own while reading a book. Feels really homey when baristas greet you in a way you greet an old friend. This guys definitely have a unique style that you notice in every detail of Expat.roasters☕️Highly recommend!
