It's a play expressing indonesia culture, story, act and feelings. This play consists of 5 stories overall on the day we visited. Almost play is for 1.5 hours and entrance fee costed 10000 rupiye for each person. They play live music and each characters performance is based on stories. And the entire play is based on barong and Kris dance. They believe barong as the powerful lion which comes and help them from all difficulties.

An hour long performance of the traditional Balinese Dance form - Barong Dance. The dance is performed over the beats and music of traditional percussion drums and flutes, with actors decked in traditional ceremonial outfits enacting various roles. The dance itself is divides into 5 acts, telling the story of the fight between good and evil through mythical characters, animals and creatures. Good one time experience.

Frankly saying. I totally respect the art and its culture. But i didn't get much interest out of this play. I suggest if u like the culture play then this place is for u. Otherwise dont waste your time and money here.

It is a comedy Bali culture dance.. The acting is so bad.. It is only just a little bit of the girl dance and that all.. A totally waste of time.. Was introduced by the driver.. I think they all get commissions for it. Would not recommend at all.

Performance started around 10am. Decent entrance fee and performance. They printed out the story acts of performance in most languages. Performance lasted about 30min. Ended with the appearance of lion and the kris performance. After that pictures taking with the lion. Dont expect aircon, dedicated seating and cushion seats. And enjoy true feel of traditional Bali performance.

Traditional barony show, they perform once a day 9:30-10:30 Even the dialogue is presented in Balinese, the performance is worth to watch.

Cultural dance. 150k Indonesia rupees per person. The photo taken at entrance is required to pay separately.

Bring a seat cushion, your butt will be sore!! The show was interesting to watch, but not worth the 100k rupiah entrance fee IMO. The musicians were often out of sync and the actors didn't really seem into it or like they even wanted to be there, like a teenager who just wants to get home to his Xbox. I'm glad to have seen a show like that, but would not go back.

Best barong performance! I always bring my tourist groups here! The owner is also very kind and frendly. He allows us to visit his family temple which seems to be very old and interesting! He even provides visitors with explanation about Balinese Hinduism! Thank you mr Ida Bagus!

More for kids and exposure to Balinese culture in a nutshell. Costumes and music looked and sounded the part. Not much can be learned on an educational basis but for entertainment and Instagram, it does served the purpose to show "I wss in Bali". Prices are acceptable (Bali touristy programs do have higher than average pricing) for a 1 hour show. Overall, pretty decent show but it will be once in a lifetime excursion.

We were brought here by our tour guide and not told exactly what it was (a bit of a language barrier). It's similar to a theatre play but with Hindu influences. Unfortunately, the stories are badly explained, the costumes are bad, it is very slow (we waited for an hour after the play began and a guy in a costume was just sitting still on stage with music playing) and it's very expensive (300,000 rupiahs). It was confusing, a waste of time and money, and we learnt nothing about the culture and had to leave mid-play as it was just a waste of time.

Very interesting dance, the cast also has good audience interactions and engagement. I would recommend checking it out, especially with family.
