Enjoying organic indonesian food in ubud is hard to find. Luckily we can find it here. Tasty and delicious, and its already our favourite while in ubud.

This is my second time at Warung Pulau Kelapa. The staff is super friendly and helpful. That's what I like most about this restaurant. Although there are many foreigners visitors, the treatment is just fantastic. The food is tasty and the portion is big. If you crave for Indonesian food, this is the place to go. They also serve WEDANG UWUH. I rarely see this menu in restaurants in Ubud. The view is awesome. They have a garden which you can visit during the day. Suitable to bring kids. I definitely will go back again~

The staff were friendly and helpful. Service was prompt. The food is tasty and the portions are a good size. The menu is extensive and includes meat dishes. The prices are quite cheap. The view out back is pleasant. They have a garden which you can visit during the day. Toilets were clean Suitable for children. The ambience was good with traditional Balinese artwork displayed. I found the bench seats a bit hard on my butt. Proper seats with back support are also available.

Wow, what an overlooked gem this place is. The gardens are extensive and well worth a visit on their own. The chef has generated so much flavour in the local dishes that I was compelled to seek her out and compliment her. The restaurant serves only local balinese/Javanese dishes, so if you have never tried them, this place is a fantastic place to start. Hand on my heart, as at the time of posting, I cannot recommend this establishment highly enough.

I have been here many times. Normally, I always order oxtail soup, and the taste was good. However, the last time I went here, I was ordering nasi campur Ayam, and the taste be honest, not like my expectations . I hope next time I go there all the food is tasted

Tried a bit of everything, dumplings were very good. They have nice garden seatings and in the front of the restaurant. Was waiting for food a bit long though. Overall nice place.

Great place to eat or hangout, or taking natural instagramable pictures. The bamboo bridge is awesome, with river view below. Has farming areas behind. Great food too.

This is a beautiful placewith nuerous choices of seating areas, with clean basically organic food from their huge garden behind the restaurant . Take a walk while you wait. In the last year or so they have greatly reduced their menu which includes food from all around Id . They seemed to have moved toward bland and boring preperation,catering to what they think tourists" like" ie Indonesian food toned down and this does not mean just not hot but lacking in herbs and spices. Dishes that are marked as spicy are generally not . When you request your dish be prepared a little spicy you are offered a good spicy sambal instead. Many dishes particularly veg are now larger than necessary and no 1/2 portion is available ,same with sate . If I want sate and vegetables, I will be presented with family size portions of each !Way more than I want and the same with what are described as smaller dishes such as martabak . This is fine if you are in a group of 4 or more and want to share but if you are alone or 2 people, you won't be able to taste more than 1 or 2 items unless you have a mixed dish like nasi campur. Right After &during covid the food was excellent likely due to the fact that during covid most of their customers were Indonesian & picky about their own cuisine and many of us long time customers were remarking about how good it was! Then in last year it changed to tourist Indonesian food. I still recommend it but ... Update :lately the food seems s bit more flavorful and dishesmarked spicy actually are &service is better. I still wish they would offer half portions of some dishes particularly vegetables.

Great hidden gen. The best restaurant we visited during our trip. They serves Indonesian food and presented in a very nice way. All the food is awesome, and you get to eat in a beautiful garden. Make sure you ask for a table in the back. Where it overlooks the river and the garden.

We really enjoy this restaurant. I always need more protein and I enjoyed the ground chicken skewers and of course, the Nasi Goreng. But you know what I really enjoy? It’s the raw onion sambal that just make everything taste even better!

Divine delicious amazing Indonesian and Balinese food. Nothing more to add... oh yeah - go to the back building during the day, the views of the garden are also amazing.

You can walk round the garden and the food is great. There is sauce the you can order but you dont need that as most of the food come with more than sufficient sauce.

Very tasty food, homegrown vegetables and spices and a big menue! The rustic setting makes for a memorable dining when taking guests, don't forget to visit the garden with its stunning ricefield view out back!

Good food, strategic location, affordable price. Its new organic garden is also very nice. Come and check it out! You'll love it.
