This comment is not rated for the Mola Mola Express Boat. In general, grab or cab will drop you at the entrance of the main road but you have to walk for a short distance to get to the beach side with plenty of fast boat counters. Along the way, you'll see plenty of kiosks, shops and personnel selling fast boat tickets to lembongan and peninda island. Here are some of the tips: 1. The one that's far from the beachside where you see get to see massive counters selling tickets, those are the more expensive one. 2. The closer you are to the beachside, the price will go down significantly. 3. Do not take their offer unless you've bargained for it, take a walk away, and they'll come back to you with lower price. 4. Survey around and you'll find out much competitive price among different service providers. 5. As reference, round trip ticket is 250k for my trip to lembongan as compared to the first store which offers me 550k after a series of survey and negotiation. Pictures attached is the place you should go for your ticket purchasing.

Cheap and safe from Sanur to Nusa Brought to Penida However, in Sanur entry and exit from the beach through the water up to knee height and sometimes higher. I would rather say that it is at the “port” of Sanur. The seats are very tight and there is hardly any legroom. Purpose but feel therefore 4 stars

Mola-Mola is a fastboat service provided by local people to reach to another island named Nusa Penida. The cost is cheap and it will reach you to Nusa Penida within 30-35 min of time. You can catch this fastboat at Sanur, Bali. The last boat to leave for Nusa Penida is at 9 am from sanur. There are other fastboat counters where you can book your ferry. You can actually sit on the top of the fastboat and have fun in this journey of water ride. There are some bumpy waves which will amaze you. The journey is quite fun. It's a three seater both sides downstairs to sit back and enjoy the ride. Only staff and capacity of 10 people can sit upstairs if requested.

Be aware that to board the boat in the Nusa Penida direction you must enter the water. Depending tide it takes from knee level to mid waist. There is a dock in Nusa Penida. Service is very friendly, they will help you in any way possible. If your are injured, they will carry you to shore. They also take care of loading your luggage. Be aware it's crammed on the boat and not much space is available. The boat is also dated. It's approx a one hour ride.

Decent price, left basically on time, quick embarkation. Boat itself is very basic, not much leg room and a little crusty around the edges but got us from Nusa Penida to Sanur in good time and safely. The captain also slowed down a little to allow for larger waves coming in so although it was a bit uncomfortable during the chop, the captain was being cautious and safe. You will get wet at Sanur as there's no pier so you have to jump into knee to waist height water and wade to the shore, but that's the same for any fast boats!

You will get fast service if you order throught travel agent but ofcourse there is additional cost, make sense for idr 450k including for all expenses in the island for walking around with a car, for lunch, mineral water, or tickets if any.

We did: pick-up Sanur, boat Sanur-Nusa penida, drop-off at Hotel in penida, pick-up Hotel penida, boat penida-Sanur, drop-off to Ubud (even to our hostel instead of Ubud central) for 600k per person. Found it very reasonable. A big plus for the company was that our on way back to Sanur, my boyfriend and I had wounds on our feet and legs from an accident. The staff carried us through the water (as you embark in the water, no bridge in Sanur),so our wounds would not get dirty, wet and painful. That was so great!! We appreciated that so much. Everything worked great, ofc the boats were slightly late but no biggie. Good communication with the company. 30-40 min. Sanur-Penida. Recommend!

Fast ship, cool staff on board, but be aware you cannot leave/embark with dry feet, you'll need to step into water. too little sitting space for tall people / with long legs

Fast boat from Nusa Penida to Bali (Sanur) started on time. It took a bit more than the mentioned 30-35 min but no big deal. If you're looking for a cheap (150k IDR) but professional fast boat transfer go with Mola-Mola Express. But be aware of the fact that there is no pick up or drop off included in the ticket price and the individual space at the seats is a bit small.

I guess this is the most expensive way to get from Nusa Penida to Dili Trawangan. We paid 600k per person. Inside there was nice, they offer you a water and small mint candy. They have a TV and headset.

They are changing the price of the transport as we speak. One thing they said on the phone and another thing they said at the counter

Quite a fun boat, we sat outside, we did get wet. But with the sunshine we didn't mind. Just be careful with electronics if you sit outside.

There are no good boats between the Islands and Bali. They're all terribly hot, no bathrooms and never running on time

👍 First…the traffic! It is very difficult to get to this harbor because of the terrible traffic here, so be sure that you leave earlier than usual to get here for your boat. Also, many taxis will not enter the harbor area because of the traffic snarl, so be prepared to get out and walk a few hundred m...

👍👍 Wonderful beach. It has many restaurants, cafes, bars and others to choose from along the beach. The beach is fairly clean for the most part, but be warned many corals and sharp rocks at some parts. Went here for sunrise once, it was absolutely stunning, you can spot Mount agung at certain times.
