Oh, do come here when you’re in Bali. The beach is awesome, super clean and the sand is very soft. Many dogs around, our puppy was super happy to make friends and run around with other dogs. It has many cafes and restaurants with their own bean bags. Perfect to relax and enjoy the afternoon breeze. The cafe is not super expensive, at least prepare 100k for 2 persons. My husband and I love to relax on the bean bags, enjoying our drinks, while looking at the beautiful beach view (and dogs playing around everywhere). Ahya, no entrance fee here. Only parking ticket, 2k for motorbike and I guess 5k for car. It has restaurant also outside the beach. So, it’s cool to stroll around and have dinner at the restaurant after beach time.

Had New Year's Eve spent here with friends. Huge crowd. The restaurants and cafes were crowded. The queue to the toilet was long. Enjoyed the New Year's Eve vibe. Some expats played with fireworks too close to the crowd and the DJ playing in the open. Fortunately, the staff told them to play with the fireworks more along the coast. The dispersing crowd after the countdown was a downer.

I visited Double Six Beach Seminyak Bali in Desember 2018. I went there with my big family in the evening. This beach has a very beautiful and amazing view, especially at sunset time. And I came here at Christmas holiday, so I can enjoy the Christmas season in here. Double Six Beach has a long seashore and it was very comfortable to spending time in there. I love the situation and the sky at the sunset time, it was so awesome and I speechless. The color of the sky is reddish, and there is some an orange and yellow color in there. In Double Six, we can find couch along the seashore while we enjoy the beach. We can sit there and order some food or drink and enjoy the wonderful view in front of us. We can enjoy the live music too in there, or we can sing at the live music. If you like sunset, I suggest you to visit here, because the view of the sunset is very beautiful. I can't explain by words, you have to come here by yourself here to enjoy the wonderful view of this beach. And there are some luxurious hotels with Seminyak beach view and some bar near this beach. On a cloudy evening day, this beach is not going to inspire any confidence. Lots of sea debris strewn every few steps on the beach makes even taking a stroll an eyesore. Yep that is what you would be swimming in. The beach looks totally different in the morning. The debris is magically gone with the tide (see second picture). The sand is fine and pleasant to walk on. It was just a quick stop at Double Six Beach but from the reviews it seems there are great restaurant and lounging options too so you can stay awhile. Excited to go again someday!

You can rent a beach umbrella and 2 chairs for 100,000 idr for the whole day. It’s at a nice beach. Not very crowded and quite clean. You can swim as well but just be careful as the waves can pull you out and if you are an inexperienced swimmer, it can be exhausting and make you nervous. You can hire surf boards as well here and the locals provide surf lessons as well.

This beach has beautiful sunset views but it is sadly ruined now by the overtourism & endless garbage on the sand and in the water. Everywhere you walk you will encounter garbage (largely plastic), and even when just standing in the water plastic bags & wrappers will wash past you & even stick to your legs. I was able to collect 2 bags of trash that was right next to me within 10 minutes of standing in the water, and over half the trash I saw got swept away before I could even collect it. While there are plenty of garbage bins by the entrance to the beach, they get barely used & there are no bins on the beach, which leads to most of the garbage ending up on the sand & in the water. The government seriously needs to invest more effort in keeping these beaches clean and encourage & educate the public to dispose of their garbage properly. There are many other beaches in Bali that are cleaner and more enjoyable than this place (though many of them are also getting more pollution as tourism is increasing). While the views are nice & the beach was beautiful in the past, it’s almost impossible to enjoy your time here now when garbage is all around you & it’s honestly sickening to see how we are destroying such beautiful places with our pollution with almost nobody seeming to care or try to fix the problem.
