We had a wonderful afternoon here, 3 adults and 2 kids (11yrs), it took about 3 hours to explore the 3 canyons with 2 very helpful guides. There was a lot of climbing and swimming involved, the swim into the cave was really amazing with bats flying around above us. The climbing was was enough to make you feel like a real adventurer, without being too daunting. There are lockers and showers (with towels provided) included in the visit. You will get very wet, so leave your valuables in the car/the lockers. The guides had a dry bag for my phone and took great photos and videos for us. Very lucky to visit during the pandemic and have the place to ourselves!

Amazing! Highly recommended! We were here with three kids, it took us two hours to go through this amazing canyon. It is better to be in swimming suit, because there are some places where you need even to swim. Don't take a towel, you will take it there, it is included in price, the same like a shower. Very beautiful, very interesting. Join it!

An amazing place! Worth a visit! We spent 2 unforgettable hours with our funny and attentive guides, exploring the canyons. The shade and water were a great escape from the heat. It was worth every penny (240k/person, including lunch with lovely view, water, towel and insurance!). They made sure our 5-year old son had a great time and he absolutely loved it! Even my panicky sister who's afraid of water enjoyed it a lot! The water was a little deep at times but the guides made us feel 100% safe. No need to schedule in advance - you can come anytime. Come and support this lovely initiative!

Awesome climb and walk across 3 canyons, beware, it is a heft climb with some tricky parts. Make sure to take good walking shoes. Yes, you will get wet, at least waiste deep, sometime deeper. Towels, guide, water and free lunch are included in the (pricey) entrance fee. Guide was helpfull amd took a lot of awesome pictures and video's. Good for 2/3 hours of a trip.

Amazing place to visit! Beautiful route to the 3 canyons, I had so much fun with my guide, he was an excellent photographer and know every single step of the route, If you have the chance take water shoes otherwise you have to do the excursion barefoot (flip flops are dangerous) is very slippery and you can harm yourself on the rocks, also be prepare to get wet til your neck 😅takes around 2 hours, if you like adventure and you are a bit fit to climb, swim, and walk that’s the perfect place to go!

Very nice place to visit. You’ll have to walk through some rice paddy field to get to the start of the canyon/forest walk. The walk is not difficult, but not suitable for kids and elderly because you’ll have to climb on rocks, wade through some water. I had fun going on this walk. The walk takes roughly one and a half hours to 2 hours, depending on your walking speed. The water can be a little deep in some areas, if your height is less than 1.6metres then you probably can’t reach the bottom. Best to wear covered footwear because if you are wading through the water, you’ll definitely hit some rocks and the rocks can be very slippery.

Went the day after thunderstorm, it was pretty much flooded. Couldn't see anything in the water which made the trek a lot more difficult, plus the water level and current level was way higher than usual. Our guide was so good though, he guided us through all 3 canyons whilst helping us take pictures on the way, and carrying out belongings in a waterproof bag.

Review posted on: 28/12/2019 Wasn't expecting a place like this in Bali but it was worth the visit. The prices of the package is uploaded in the picture. It is helpful if you are in your swimsuits as you will be wading through water and (in dry season) it could be waist deep (my height is 171cm, if that helps for reference 😁) in certain places. Be prepared to go through the canyon barefoot and it is like a foot therapy as one walks through the tiny pebbles. Take time to observe what the flowing water has done to the rocks over eons. The level of the track is moderate. After the end of the trail, expect to walk through a wide field of plantations. There is place for shower near the registration desk.

What a hidden place indeed! There was hardly any marketing and we only found out from Google maps. It took us slightly more than an hour to go through the 3 canyons. The last one was dried up so it was a quick walk through. Our guide was careful to point out where to step and where there are rocks underwater. Recommend to go late afternoon - we had the whole place to ourselves, great photo opportunities and no queue for the showers. love the quick walk through the rice fields at the end, we got to watch a nice sunset too. Shower facilities are clean. Thought it was a little pricey for such a short experience, but it was good fun. Recommend to go with water boots unless you want a foot reflexology while walking through the canyon.

Worth to try. The cliff ravines are beautiful, with flowing water ( we walk inside the ravine ) , but you need to walk very very carefully, since it is pretty hard to navigate and the road is watery and rocky , literally.

WOW! What an amazing experience. Had absolutely no idea how this activity would play out. Arrived with some idea of watching a river flow through the canyon, but had a huge shock when it actually started. Only swim wear is needed, no shoes, no hats. Make sure to bring a changes of clothing. Guides are capable to keep a phone in a waterproof bag for some great photos. Walking down to the canyon barefoot, I did start to doubt if I would be able to do this, but the super awesome guides quickly made the group feel at ease and “empowered”. We walked criss-cross in the river, thought the canyon, some places climbing the rocks, with the help of the guides. Strong current and rocks did not make this hour long experience any easier, but it was amazing to come out the other side and being able to sit under a beautiful waterfall. Then taking a walk back to the start through the amazing rice plantations to a included lunch or beer option. Clean showers and lockers available form the get go, also two hours experience to a second waterfall if you are still up to it. This is not for the faint at heart, but easy enough to have a fun day out. Can highly recommend. The very capable, experienced and entertaining guides made up a good part of this experience.

We really enjoyed this underrated attraction. We went on a weekday morning and were the first customers of the day. Even when we finished the place seemed quiet, so we had the whole canyon to ourselves. The price of 120k pp includes a local guide. He showed us the safe places to step while wading through the water and over boulders, and also offered to take photos of us, and took pretty decent shots. There are changing rooms and showers. I would recommend water shoes, we did it in trail running shoes which worked well. Flip flops not recommend as you would slip and slide and loose them in the water. The guide did it barefoot, but we were glad we had shoes on. The river was relatively free of trash and the guide said they personally pick up trash every day. Definitely an impressive canyon if you like nature and being a bit adventurous. The circular walk took about two hours.

The canyon entrance is easy to find, right next to a road, and the entrance ticket also includes a private guide, water & a meal. There will be lockers to leave your bagpacks there, and the guide will carry a waterproof bag so you can put your phone/sunglasses/etc there that you want to use during-after the tour. The tour itself is very enjoyable, the views are amazing, you have the option to climb like a boulderer on the rock walls, but you can always choose to swim instead if you feel unsafe - the guide will show the way and help you whenever needed. He will also make photos of you if you’d like. I highly recommend coming in flipflops as you will need to climb barefoot, and the slippers fit easily into the guide’s bag. Also, prepare to get fully wet as the water is quite deep in some places, so come in swimsuit. At the end of the trip there is a short walk among the rice fields, so prepare with a t-shirt or sunscreen. Also, right at the end of the canyon there is a small shop where you can buy beer / water / extremely fresh coconut to freshen up a bit. After getting back to the starting point you can have your selected meal (+ this is a restaurant so you can order extra/drink). You can have a shower here, they also give you towels. I highly recommend this tour as it is a beautiful scenery and unique experience!

I was last at the hidden canyon 3 years ago and am really impressed with the improvements. Our guides were fantastic, having wonderful sense of humour. One guide took photos the whole way through, using one of our mobile phones. Also included was a fresh towel and a welcome cup of water. The experience is also quite unique, involving wading through water and hanging on the edge of the canyon walls. Everyone on our group managed fine and all appeared to have a ball.

This was our first stop on the way to Amed. Be prepared for a little physical activity. The stop is worth it and is very picturesque! The sign says its closed but go inside anyway and a local guide will assist you.

Definitely must go. Unique experience and safe adventure. I went with my children (6 , 8 , 10 years old)and enjoyed a lot. We climbed rocks, swam in the river, and passed rice terrace and through a waterfall It was a short trip (1 hour) due to my children; otherwise, it should take 2 hours as average

Wonderful experience in Bali if you love nature and a bit of a hike/ climb/ swim - and if you want an activity that is not overcrowded with tourists. In a nutshell: In October 2023 you pay 240k pP for a decent meal, access to the canyon and a (much needed) canyon guide, showers and a towel. With the guide you will walk through a beautiful riverbed which with 3 stunning canyons along the way. Once done, you walk the way back along rice and chillie fields, for which it is highly recommended to bring Flipflops along the way (the guide will carry them for you on his backpack). The whole canyon experience takes about 2hrs, but it really depends on how fast you are and how many pictures you take (the guides are happy to take as little/ as many of you as you want). Combined with eating and relaxing at the cafe, we stayed for a bit more than 3 hours. If you are unsure if the canyon is for you: anyone who is reasonably fit should be able to do it. It can be fairly slippery, but the only time we felt really out of our comfort zone was a challenging part at the very beginning of the first canyon. Once past that, it was much more relaxed and very rewarding experienc. Lastly, after every canyon you have the option to stop and go back to the cafe to relax there.

This should be Bali's #1 tourist attraction. If you like canyoneering and adventure stuff you should definitely come by. Bring a change of clothes and be ready to get wet and explore nature. You have the option to do 1 or 3 canyons. The 3rd canyon ends up on a rice Paddy with mountain views, the best view in all of Bali. The guide makes a huge difference, it is assigned to you but if you can ask for WAYAN. He speaks perfect English and is very funny and knowledgeable about the environment, the activities and how to take THE BEST Instagram pictures ever.

Very nice experience. This is a true adventure, especially for people coming from the city. The entrance fee is 120k. For that you get a personal guide for your group who will help you traverse the canyon step by step. They are well experienced and will tell you exactly were to put your feet and hand if nessessary. Also our guide took pictures while keeping our phones dry. Expect to get wet here or even do some swimming. Without a guide I would consider it pretty dangerous to traverse the canyon but he made us feel very safe so make sure to listen to your guide. Afterwards you are provided towels and showers to fresh yourself up.

This was an adventure. Be prepared to get wet. The waterfalls are worth seeing. Getting to them takes from navigating with the expert guides. There were to canyons to visit. Bring a change of clothes/swimwear. There are caves to explore you will need to swim in water as deep as 5m at times. Other times, you are walking in knee deep water. The guides are wonderful.

Crazy experience but I love it! If you want to play safe, visit during dry season when the river water only reaches up to your thigh at the maximum and you get to take pictures from all over the place. But if you love challenges like me, visit in rainy season. You need to swim against the strong current, climb the rocks, waddle, and get ready to get soaked from hair to toe. You still can take awesome pictures in several spots and the effect is even better!

Great place to go to if you’re looking for an adventure Just know that if you’re not willing to get into the water, the ‘no wet’ path as they say is very challenging and slippery. The tour guides are amazing and help you through it all

Such a cool hidden gem. You would never know there are a bunch of canyons with waterfalls here because it’s not in the mountains. There are actually crevices in the earth by the rice fields and the heated water from the rice fields flow into the crevices, creating waterfalls. We had so much fun here! It’s only about 25 min from downtown Sanur.

Incredible expierance. Very kind and friendly guide. Recommend to take water shoes or go with bare foot, but there is many rocks so it can hurt sometimes. Unless you like feet massage :)

Did this for the second time with friends and we had a lot of fun. There are however some issues to consider before starting this active journey. You must be in good physical condition and have no fear of falling. The rocks are sharp, slippery and had to be crossed barefooted. You need to take your time and let the guides assist you if needed because they are very helpful. The guides make very nice foto's and videos with the phone you give to keep dry. A lunch and drink are included in de price of about €20 pp for a trip of almost 2 hours. If you are looking for something active to do, don't mind getting wet and want to make some nice memories than this is an absolute must.

One of my best adventure. Everything is still natural. Be ready to get wet! Clean exchange room/toilet/bathroom, locker is provided, guide and dry bag. Spacious parking lot. Not a place for a kid or elderly as you'll have a lot of climbing and walking on the river. It's not dangerous or all but someone who is fit is better to going around. But this place is recommended!

We had a great time!! Trekking thru the jungle, swimming, rock hopping. You are required to have a guide and our guide was great! He was taking pics and videos for us nonstop. Telling us where the best shots were and patiently taking lots of photos. We got some really great photos! It was right after Bali opened to tourists again so there were only the 2 of us plus 1 other couple so it was like a private tour One point of caution - it was physically rigorous and I bruised / scraped my shins multiple times on the under water rocks. Which my guide cleaned and treated for me at the end of the hike. It was also very nice that they had showers and towel available at the end! Overall highly recommended!

  • 5/5 Trisha 2 years ago on Google

Absolutely a must! We loved it here. We had a great guide who helped us climb every rock and took beautiful pictures of us. They clean it every morning so it’s still a piece of untouched nature. We took a swim into a cave and were stunned about the water and bats inside. Close to the end we stopped for a fresh coconut and a nice chat. Afterwards we took a shower there and got towels and soap. 10/10 would recommend.

You can choose between a short trip or a long one with 3 beautiful canyons. At the end you walk trough rice fields to return to the starting point where you can take a hot shower. Special price for local tourist, for pandemic tour, 2 hours full course only 75K, with 4 section canyon, 3 with water flow, and the last section, there's no water flow at all (dry course). Luckily, we got a best guide, his name is Bli Wauwauwau, and Bli Rudi, best combination and they got a lot of jokes, at the end of the route, we will see a rice field scenery. Not recommended course for elderly, and small child

Beji Guwung Canyon is one of those unavoidable instagrammable places that remain in memory for a long time. A must-see for every nature worshiper and hiking lover, this hidden piece of nature deserves to be on the list of the most instagrammable places in Bali. There is a small path that goes along the shallow river, passing by giant rocks, leading you deeper into the canyon. And then there the real magic begins. Uniquely shaped rocks are reflected in crystal blue water, illuminating the entire place in amazing shades of color. This magnificent canyon is a real inspiration to all artists, photographers and creative minds. A hot spot for a stunning photo!

Went here last February. Not many ppl came here at that time. Entrance fee was 200K for locals. They provided a guide who can help u to take pics :) they also provided a shower room and towel.
