Disgusting place. Animals are kept in terrible cages and look sick . They don't care about the well-being. This place must shut down immediately.

Stop this animal cruelty! Animals are not objects! This is so wrong on so many levels! Do not buy any animals from them! These poor animals are in Bad condition or catched from their homes to sell them. How can people be so cruel?!!!!

This place needs to be closed down and arrest the sellers of endangered animals. This place is just another example of how callous and cruel the locals are to animals. Absolutely disgraceful place.

Interesting...Poor conditions for animals, Some of these beautiful creatures ane locked in cages so small they can't move. If you want to see exotic animals for sale you will find them here. I recommend visiting for the experience.

😭 These poor animals in tiny cages - such sadness in their imploring eyes. Many of the bird, reptile and mammal species here are surely endangered and under protection - this must be illegal, or should be, and definitely violates animal rights! We saw birds of all sorts, even owls, iguanas, hedgehogs, sugar gliders, squirrels, civet cats as well as rabbits, rats, cats, dogs, fish... and even monkeys!

The animal market is for us western terrible. They are kept in small cages and most of them are in poor conditions. Behind is a jewellery market which is worth a visit.

This place is said as bird market due to most of their stockist are bird besides , dog, cat moise , baby turtle, gecko and many more. Theres also sell equipments for the pets, like chaines, pots, foods for animal .

This is hell on earth! Animals are sold illegally in very, very poor condition, often the animals are already dead. Do not buy any animals there, because you are financing the cruel animal trade and paying for new animals to live in these cages. This market should be closed! Shame on anyone who supports this hell and makes a profit from it!

Normally I visit this bird market to buy pet fishes (gold fish, angel fish). Market has quite good selection of different type of commons fish types with reasonable prices. Market also sells fish foods (fresh and dry type), and accessories for aquarium too. At the end of market has some jewelry shops, sell silver 925 rings with various stones type.

Do not go here- the animals are being abused. They are kept in filthy, small cages and shouldn’t even be near humans at all.

You can find so many kind of birds sell in this place.. Also the food, the cage and everything.. Actually I came here to take a photoshoot for prewedding session.. Not in the market but In the big tempel in the edge of the market... Good spot to take a good pictures, so naturally Balinese... With a verry huge temple gate... But to take a pictures here you need to ask permition to people who live in Puri Satria near there because it is their family temppe and should bring an offering called Banten Pejati, in order to get blessed during the photoshoot.. 🙏
