Now here is a difficult place to review! Without going I to the details, starting with the positives: Location Location Location!! A few steps to a wonderful beach with sand and also rocks on the edges, this is a good beach!! You also have many food/drink options nearby, especially O’Penedo (see separate review). Nearby O Grove and Sanxenxo give you civic-cultural and shopping options; a large Mercadona is only 10’ away. The cleaning staff are friendly and keep the showers, toilets and washing areas clean to a good degree, and the facilities were really ok for our needs. The Management is where I deduct a star as they did give me a very unhelpful response to my questions, on top of calling into question the need for my queries I had sent per email (a nuisance, clearly!), and the pricing is random. My request for booking was 100% clear, yet they claimed I had not provided my complete booking. Not having read my first email the Manager kept changing the prices and details, and in the end charged me €6 for every day, even though the car was only on-site for 2 nights (we accessed the site a few times for on- and off-loading). Clearly he makes up his own rules and behind the friendly-ish facade is 🤑 and a mis-understanding of what Customer Sevice looks like. He should focus on operations and let a professional deal with customers, communications and payments. The management team also micro-manage the staff in the Café (guys, get a better coffee brand, please 🙏) who would do a better job if just left to their own devices. So - yes! An amazing camping, but oh lord! Star less (should be 2 stars less, really) for the Management.

If you take the sea side campsite, you could get a very nice view of the beach. The shower and the toilets were clean, the staff were nice. The only downside is that there is a road very close by and you could hear the cars so loud....it was hard to fall asleep.

Stopped off for one night and was greeted very warmly on arrival. Very clean services, hot water in the showers. We'll run and clean pitches. The restaurant has a great view of the beach and sunset. With direct access to the beach and rocks. Would highly recommend.

5 stars is not enough for this location! Beautiful place, totally different than other campings. Very cosy and intimate, small but in September you can find a spot easily. Family business which is also nice. No student parties and a guarantee of good night’s sleep is a big advantage.

Absolutely amazing campsite (especially if you can get a pitch on the beach side of the road!). We started off on the other side and then moved the following day to one right on the beach front which was spectacular. The manager was so helpful too. Pitches were small but that is very typical of the area in peak times. The toilets and showers were fine, not fancy but worked well with few queues, reliable hot water and plenty of toilet rolls. I’d HIGHLY recommend. stay there!

Great campsite. Stunning views of the surround sea. Nice owner. Sanitary facilities super clean. Good surf spot around the corner. Only downside is that the parcels are rather small so it can get quite crowded in high season. However great in off season.

I spent 3 nights in this camping with my family and we had an amazing experience. First of all, we placed our tent facing the beach that is right next to the camping. The camping isn't too big, so it is more calm than the other campsites I have stayed in. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Leider keine gute Kommunikation. Ich hatte angefragt ob zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt ein Stellplatz frei wäre. Es kam zurück, ja wir haben Platz. Als wir dann mit Baby nach einer langen Autofahrt ankamen hieß es, dass sei keine richtige Reservierung und sie seien voll. Der Platz sah auch sehr überfüllt aus. Wir sind dann weiter zu Monte Cabo welchen ich sehr empfehlen kann.

Toller Campingplatz mit sehr freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Gastgebern! Die Lage & die Aussicht sind traumhaft. Es gibt einen Bereich oberhalb der Straße und einen zweiten Bereich direkt am Meer. Die Sanitäranlagen waren sehr sauber, der gesamte Platz ist sehr gepflegt mit Liebe ins Detail. Ein Blick auf die Website lohnt sich, der Besitzer hat hier tolle Tipps für Ausflüge und hilfreiche Informationen zur Verfügung gestellt. Morgens gibt es frisches Brot & tollen Kaffee. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt - wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

We travelled there last summer by bus from Pontevedra. About 100 m from the camp site there is a bus stop. Camping Muineira is located at a wonderfull beach with. Our familiy had a great time walking an climbing at the rocks at the beach. The service ist great, Martin, the owner is a great host and helped us a lot. Thanks!

Gorgeous seafront location with a path down to the beach (rocks, sand and pebbles). Friendly and family-run since 1967. Clean showers and toilets. There are kayaks and other sea equipment for rent, a stone barbecue free to use.

Visited during high season and stayed beach side (they have other pitches on the other side of the road). The location is great, right on a nice (but busy) beach. The pitches are quite small, but ok. Facilities are good, but it's really all about the beach.

Great sea views - we loved this little campsite. We could be on the beach from our tent in thirty seconds! Amazing views and lovely to wake up to the sound of waves. One little thing we really liked was the showers - a constant supply of hot water! The bar serves a lovely cafe con leche...

We spent 7 nights here in a perfect site overlooking the wonderful beach. We came here 30 years ago with our small children and have always planned to return one day. It did not disappoint! The staff are very helpful and friendly, the showers are lovely and hot, but the very best thing is the fantastic location. As it is September, the restaurant was shut, but there are lots of other places to eat within easy walking or cycling distance. It is our plan to return again....it is a very special place.

A bit overpriced (normal for glamping nowadays) but location wise it's fantastic, right by the beach! Facilities are good (it can get crowded in peak hours though) and staff is really kind and nice, ran by a family.
