Very nice forest, ideal for walking and taking nice photos. There is a mini bench on a hill that is now very covered with trees and greenery. You are passing the Grobits playground. You continue forward and in a little while it is there, up on a small hill.

Lovely little forest in the center of the island A Toxa. There are benches with historic facts about the area carved into them and a nice little playground with a Lord Of The Rings theme.

Nice forest park. Very well preserved and great for a pleasant walk if you go to the island of La Toja. Inside there is a children's area, the Gobrins village, which is great to go with children

The Forest Park of the island of La Toja has three entrances, is located in the center of the island and has a series of trails that invite you to walk, has informative signage and has benches with educational inscriptions. In another area you can visit the children's park "the village of the Grobbits", where it is a tribute to the Hobbits from the Lord of the Rings. On the long walk you can find some donkeys in freedom.

The route through the forest is very beautiful, there are several routes marked with signs. People should have more respect and not leave used tissues or trash. You have to be careful because Velutina wasps.

If you go to this island it is one of the few things to visit, but it is still a small forest with trees and little to do.

Beautiful place with trails to explore, walk, go jogging. It has different entrances connected to the urbanization of the island, and within the grove there are different spaces for children, dogs, to exercise, viewpoints and others.

👍👍 This was an interesting visit to see this unique island. The history is fascinating with the attempts to make this a fort then a church. Nature had other ideas so just ruins exist today. This is definitely a worthwhile visit as the nearby homes still exist.

👍👍 The Ermida da Toxa, also known as the Church of the Shells, is a unique 19th century building located on the island of A Toxa. Its peculiar architecture, with seashells embedded in its walls, makes it stand out among other religious buildings. Currently, this chapel is dedicated to the Virgen del Ca...

👍 Pretty chapel that is better known for being covered in scallop shells. Probably not worth the drive all the way here to see this but the island of Toxa has a beautiful golf course, plenty of good restaurants in O Grove (across the bridge) and some cool beaches.
