This is our first visit to Brazil, and our second time to stay at Novotel. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the parking garage. We have a car with US plates, and in other countries have been cautioned not to park on the street. This area is quite tranquil and the car would likely have been just fine, but we slept much more soundly having paid the 24R ($6 us) to have it securely in a guarded garage. It is a mere two blocks and a safe walk (even at night, even for for a gringa) to the Curitiba mall with tons of food and shopping options. When we arrived, we were greeted with a warm smile by Andres who spoke fluent Spanish and English, and welcomed us, providing explanations, details and answering our many questions. We dinedible in the hotel restaurant, which specializes in Peruvian food. I must say, having lived in Peru for 11 months, Peruvian food is amazing, and not easy to duplicate outside of Peru this place has better Peruvian food than several places in Peru. The room was comfortable and clean, and cute. One neat feature was the USB plug near the bed that saved us since we did not yet have the adapter to plug our US plugs into the Brazilian outlets. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with a huge variety of breads and pastries which was a big win with my kids, and fruit and yogurt which delighted my husband, and sliced meats, cheeses, scrambled eggs and warm meats which brought me joy. Lots of other options which I am not going to list, but certainly no skimping. The cherry on top was Ailton taking the time to give us an impromptu Portuguese lesson, as well as sharing details about Floridanopolis, Isla Campeche, and other points along the way for us to explore. He really went above and beyond to help us have the best experience in Curitiba and beyond. On our return, several days later, Washington welcomed us, and in perfect English checked us in and helpedme to find my phone (spoiler: it was in my husband's pocket) I cannot recommend this place enough: excellent location, amazing service, genuinely welcoming people, great value.

Rooms are clean, nice and comfortable. If you are an American traveler just know that there are no amenities in the room that you are used to in hotel rooms in the US, like microwave, coffee, hot water for drinking etc. Carry lots of drinking water from the supermarket. Although some in the front desk understand and speak English, the instructions don't get quite carried forward to the housekeeping folks, very well. Everything else is very comfortable.

The bed was really good and comfy, the service was fast and friendly, the breakfast was good and had a nice selection, especially of sweet stuff. What was not so nice: - you pay extra for the parking (but it comes with valet service!) - there's no view, even though there are large windows - you better keep the blinds closed - you can hear the people in the other rooms - but we could still sleep well. That would only be a nuisance, if there was a party next door ;) Overall, we would come again!

During my recent visit to Curitiba, Paraná, I had the opportunity to stay at Novotel, a unique hotel that embrace the vibrant spirit of Peru. From the moment I walked into the lobby, I was immersed in the captivating Peruvian atmosphere that this hotel exudes and well recaptioned from the staff in Spanish. One of the standouts features of Novotel is undoubtedly its breakfast. The breakfast spread is a homage to Peruvian cuisine, featuring a range of flavorful dishes that transport you straight to the streets of Lima. The dedication and passion of the breakfast staff are evident in every dish they serve. Their attentiveness and warm hospitality added an extra layer of enjoyment to my mornings. The rooms at Novotel are a testament to both style and comfort. The attention to detail in the room's finishing is commendable. The Peruvian-inspired decor elements seamlessly blend with modern amenities, creating a cozy yet sophisticated ambiance. The ample space in the room allowed me to unwind and relax after a day of exploring the city. However, while Novotel shines in many aspects, there is room for improvement in their laundry services. Although the quality of the laundry service is impressive, there were some minor hiccups that slightly affected the overall experience. I believe that with a bit of fine-tuning, this aspect can match the excellence that the rest of the hotel offers. In conclusion, Novotel in Curitiba, Paraná, offers a unique and enchanting Peruvian hotel experience that is hard to come by. From the mouthwatering breakfast that celebrates the best of Peruvian cuisine to the well-appointed rooms that provide comfort and style, Novotel creates a memorable stay. While the laundry services might need some refinement, their dedication to excellence is evident. If you're looking to immerse yourself in the spirit of Peru while enjoying the charms of Curitiba, Novotel is an excellent choice that promises an unforgettable stay.

I expected to see a swimming pool as it was advertised on the website but no pool in the hotel. I complained to the MGR who promised to make corrections for the false advertisement. Also room service were not doing a thorough cleaning in the shower and bathroom and not restocking supply. Cleaning was for the show as for what resident can see. TV was not easy to figure out if you don’t speak Portuguese. No Iron, no ironing table and no free water to welcome new customer. Everything else was ok

Great hotel! Spectacular suite: extra large bed, jacuzzi, spacious lounge and good amenities. Service provided by the staff was awesome as well. Restaurant was incredible too, with well served tasty dishes. Accor fidelity program served us good!

Amazing hotel! Very clean and well maintained, it’s a new hotel, a few months old. European style, practical and well designed. Love the washroom, Brazilian nuts soap, so nice. Comfortable beds and nice mirrors. Well equipped rooms, tv, fridge, hair dryer, ac, lights, plugs, etc etc. Loved everything. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location, close to shopping malls and some entertainment.

This is a great, boutique find! Simple, modern rooms with great lighting options and pillows. The Ceviche restaurant was a terrific discovery. They serve excellent Peruvian cuisine, in addition to ceviche. Sometimes hotel food can be not so great. That is NOT the case here.

Every hotel I’ve stayed in the past, even 3-stars hotels, had transparency on the type of room you get when make a reservation: city view, pool view, no view, etc and you pay for the room and the view. Well I did my reservation online, on their website and there were no mention about view. So I booked, paid full price and they gave me a room at the 14th floor with the most horrible view I’ve ever saw in my life. The windows just stared at an ugly residential building. I couldn’t see anything, I couldn’t open the blinders. I immediately called the reception to change rooms, and they just told me no. Checking out the receptionist asked and I told her, told how frustrated the stay was due to the view, and she had the audacity to say I got the 14th floor room with the best view. Haha I laugh. No discount for being put in THAT room. Never again! Room #1461

We stayed at the Novotel Curitiba with my wife for 8 days. The hotel is very clean and modern, the location is also great. Many restaurants and shopping nearby. We wanted to say thank you to all the great people that work there, everybody was super helpful even though we didn't speak Portuguese. We would like to especially thank the following individuals who went our of their way to make us feel at home: Ailton, Yuri, Viviane, Giovanni. We highly recommend the hotel with great rooms and incredible service.

Very warm and pleasant staff throughout. Lean, business hotel as one would expect from Novotel. Very central with many amenities within easy walking distance. My room (and perhaps all the rooms on that side of the building) faced the back of another high rise building so the curtains had to stay shut making it quite dark. The bed was comfortable and room clean. No kettle in the room. Breakfast adequate and the in-house, restaurant and bar, Ceviche, has a decent Gastropub-like all-day menu if you’d prefer to eat in.
