I recently got my Koi sleeve completed by Matt, the owner. Man, I could not be happier with my tattoo and with Matt. Matt is truly a master of his craft. He is one of those guys that can hear your story and take a look at a drawing and he knows exactly where to place it in order for the tattoo to look well-balanced and “cool”. For my style of tattoo, I not only needed an artist that’s good with lining and shading but also good at drawing as well. Lucky for me, I found all those 3 qualities in Matt. I highly recommend Rachelle! She did an absolute amazing on my tattoo. She took my idea, drew it out and made it my own. She was very open to changes I wanted to make and she was quick to make changes. Very professional. The studio and all the staff there were really nice and welcoming. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Matt did a fantastic job finishing up my Star Wars half-sleeve. I gave him my idea and he executed it to perfection with his own style. Super clean and very relaxed atmosphere. I would highly recommend him and his establishment to anyone looking to get some ink done.

I was recommended by a friend to go there for my third piercing and a cartilage piercing because I've been wanting to do it for a while. My sister and I went there and had the most amazing experience ever! Sam was amazing! She explained everything in great detail on care and what she was doing and she walked us through the steps that she was going to take to pierce my ears. It barely hurt at all. I will definitely be going back for my next set of piercings. I highly recommend this place and I highly recommend Sam!

Just did the outline of my tattoo today and couldn't be happier. Patrick was super nice, made great recommendations for placement/size, but also made my experience so comfortable. His line work is so crisp and I am so excited for color. He is absolutely worth the wait!

When I was diagnosed with Goblet cell Adenocarcinoma of the colon (Appendix Cancer). I did not know what the future held, or God’s plan with me. Sam did an amazing job with my piercing! I was nervous at first going in there but after talking with her, she calmed me down and provided me with very helpful information, from cleaning too everything I should expect during the healing process. She went above and beyond when it came to making sure I was happy with the jewelry and placement before she actually did the piercing! I absolutely love it!

I love my baboon so much! The entire process was so straight forward and easy! From making an appointment to the requirements of the deposit, to getting the tattoo, to the aftercare. The staff was so helpful, informative and nice. My artist, Dusty, was hilarious and did such a great job. He drew it right on my arm and then was efficient with his time getting done quickly and charging me a fair price. Love this shop so much! Have had some bad experiences in other shops before but this one is stellar!!

If you are looking for micro blading or any aesthetic needs Sage NEEDS to be your go to. I had my eyebrows micro bladed and it could not have been an easier experience. She is so friendly, professional, and a brilliant artist. I appreciated the thorough job she did explaining her process and how to ensure the best healing process possible. While there I also got pierced by Sam who was also fantastic. She took her time to make sure placement was perfect and that I was prepared and comfortable. Her private space is welcoming and just so cute! The studio itself is immaculate and not intimidating whatsoever. Will absolutely be recommending my friends and family to go here!

This was my first experience at Thirteen Roses due to Rachelle moving there. I had eight tattoos prior to Rachelle and this was my fifth by her. The difference has been night and day. Rachelle is just the best at what she does and will do all of my future tattoos. I can take an idea in my head and describe it to her and she always creates a design better that I imagined. Same thing with drawings or art I send her...she always exceeds expectations. You can tell she cares and takes pride in her work. She has never rushed through the process or made me feel like I had to make a decision before I was ready. My most recent tattoo took the idea of the hanging heart from The Used album In Love and Death (artwork by Alex Pardee). I really like this image, but wanted to make the tree more prominent (wanted it to look creepy and give the appearance that it was in the middle of nowhere). Rachelle captured it perfectly as usual...the contrast of the red heart against the black tree turned out really cool. Like I said, she is the best and if you make an appointment with her, you will not be disappointed. I was very impressed with the environment at Thirteen Roses...very clean and professional. Front desk/reception employees were super nice and helpful.

Kevin M. was an amazing artist. He was nice and pleasant. He took the photos and the coordinates I provided and created a BEAUTIFUL piece of art. He helped me release an ounce of the pain I carry from losing my daughter and fur baby 4 months. He was very stoic and let me cry peacefully. I can’t wait to return. The entire staff has been professional from the day I wandered in to get a card to scheduling this appointment and my appointment next year. Thank you all for being great.

I went somewhere previously for my nose piercing. They gave me no instructions, did not have me sign any paperwork. It got infected, formed a bump was bleeding then it fell out. I let it close up and decided to come here. I was debating whether to go here or not because the price seemed high for a piercing, but it was extremely worth it. Everything was great from start to finish. She let me pick out which nose ring I wanted and gave me ALL instructions and recommendations for it to heal best. Also, the girl who did my piercing was super chill. I bought their saline wound wash and have been using that, so far things have been great and nothing like my experience at the last place!! Very happy and worth the money.

Patrick has been great! this was my second appointment with him and both times were great. Extremely happy with his professionalism and artwork. I won't go anywhere else for any future tattoos.

I’m a repeat customer of thirteen roses and I won’t go anywhere else. My daughter and I got our noses pierced here and the care, attention to detail and placement by Sam was amazing (this is my third nostril piercing and the difference in care was significant.) My husband and I got coordinating tattoos from Kevin and they healed beautifully. Kevin was so patient with both of us, and especially with my husband who was nervous about his first tattoo. Most recently Rachelle did a beautiful job on a larger tattoo for me - she let me take breaks when I needed them, was communicative and thoughtful when we were choosing colors and really put me at ease. Of course the shop itself is meticulously clean and sanitized and I highly recommend the service and environment at thirteen roses. I cannot wait to go back for my next piece of art!

The shop is very clean. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. PJ did my cover up tattoo on my ankle, he is very professional, took the time to design my tattoo making sure the colors I wanted were spot on. I appreciate that he had patience with me, taking short breaks because I couldn't handle the pain ( cry baby 😆). I will always recommend and go back for further work.

I never went into the shop because when I called for a consultation the man on the phone was so dismissive and rude. At first I thought he was busy or having an overwhelming day, but his tone and treatment of me on the phone didn't change at all throughout the course of our conversation. I wanted to make an appointment for a simple fox tattoo. He told me I would have to wait 6 weeks to get in and that my tattoo would cost $600. He didn't even state his name, he just picked up and said '13 roses, what?' I called a different studio and went with them instead. They got me in right away and because my tattoo took less than 2 hours, he charged me right around $200 for my body art. Sometimes it seems the artists in a place become arrogant and think that their work is somehow worth 3x as much as another studio. Posting a picture of the work I got done at Heartland Tattoo. The fox is on my forearm and there's no earthly reason why this should cost ANYONE $600.

I had a 5pm appointment with Pj but I had a family emergency a few hours before my appointment. I called to reschedule and they wanted to charge me another hundred dollar deposit. Even though I had no control over the situation.I also lost the original deposit amount because of bad business practices I canceled all my future appointments. I really needed my tattoo fixed especially since Pj left some blowout spots. Will never go back to this place.

I got my tattoo done here recently by Patrick and initially the experience was pleasant. Because I’m fairly new to exploring tattoos, I requested a small cross on my wrist. My initial image was too wide so he updated the image but had an issue with me noticing the placement was off once the stencil was applied and told me “no it’s not off”. It was evident he was irritable and when I thought the image was decent he said “okay we’re getting started no more changes”. Long story short this was not the most pleasant experience for me as a first time customer and although I did tip out of generosity, I will be getting this tattoo removed.

After years of waiting/debating on a lip piercing, I finally did it as a birthday gift to myself. I got a labret lip piercing by Kali! The front desk staff were sweet and welcoming. Kali was super nice, knowledgeable, and patient! She answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable. She made sure I was happy with the placement of where the piercing would go before poking it. I really appreciated how clean the piercing room and entire studio was. ✨ Aftercare instructions were straightforward, and my lip piercing is healing so well. I've had lots of compliments too, and I'm really happy with my lip piercing. 😊 I will be back for other piercings and recommend friends and family to go here too!
