Simple sandwiches and complex desserts. Waldorf chicken salad was almost as good as home made, 3 out of 5. The Turkey was outstanding, a 5 out of 5 turkey sandwich. The pulled pork was a 4 out of 5 good but I would've liked it heated. The raspberry/chocolate mirror cake was decadent 5 out of 5. Tried 6 of the macaroons, poppy was the best BUT I was not impressed by them at all. 2 out of 5. My latte wasn't executed well despite the very expensive espresso machine. Over all the shop was simple and cute but the service was rude.

Had someone recommend this bakery in Manchester and I know why! It looked so good, we had to sample before taking the time to take pictures. Seriously, everything is SO good! So many things we wanted to try. Already making plans to go back and get the bread pudding. Also had lunch sandwiches that looked amazing!

Yum! It is my favorite French patisserie. Some of that has to do with the fact he is a world renowned pastry chef and some of it has to do with the fact he is also from a small town in Missouri like I am. I am never disappointed and I love that he is in an unassuming pastry shop. Everyone there is happy and works very hard. And if you want to lunch, they do have prepared sandwiches just like they have in France. In addition they have chocolate bars and a rotation of marmalades and more. My friend from Denver said they are the best macaroons she's ever had.

The #1 place I miss when I leave home for college. This bakery has amazing croissants, cakes, sandwiches, and so much more! This bakery not only ranks high in the US, but arguably in the world! When I had my first bite of a NR croissant after coming back from France, I felt as though I was transported back to Paris! Needless to say, you have to try this place out (you won’t regret it)!

Update: So happy to be back post pandemic! ❤️ Roast beef sandwich was amazing. Original: Every single bite was heavenly. I cannot wait to go back and try a sandwich. I had the Chocolate chip pecan cookie, cheese Focaccia bread, an Amber (tart) and the Ruby. Like a party in my mouth. Friendly staff. The place is bright and welcoming. Highly recommend stopping by!

The best croissants in the area! I have tried a number of bakeries around St. Louis, but this one is my favorite. The ham and cheese is sooooo good! Bread is very flaky and lightly sweet + buttery. I’d come here daily if I could. 😋

GO! Go and taste as much as you possibly can. Been here several times and never disappointed. The sandwiches are amazing as the bread and croissants are amazing and all the baked goods are beautiful and taste great. There is almost always aline but the line moves quickly.

Great European Style bakery with wonderful choices for all. Desserts are amazing, pastries are perfect and everything is fresh!!!

Try Nathaniel Reid! Even all my friends who are not big on sweets love it ;) Super fair price for top notch pastry. Really like the pick up option. The pre-order system could be improved though. Hope to see a way to pay online instead of getting a call back to supply the payment info. Also, would be nice if there’s a way to check the status of the order online, such as to double check the pick up date or option for email reminders.

Oh my gosh. I cannot stop raving about how much I love this place. Tracy was extremely helpful today and the food is spectacular. My husband and I just got home from Paris a couple months ago, and the croissants are exactly what I’ve been craving ever since we left. Coming here is going to become a new family tradition for sure

If this place has a line it’s because they are superior to every other bakery in St. Louis. The ruby is incredible. Buy one. The breakfast sandwiches are so good. Seriously. Love this place. The macarons are incredible.

Great customer service. Friendly staff. Fast, great service and best of all, the food! Semi pricy but definitely worth the buck! The croissants are made to perfection, warm, flaky and fresh! I love this place and highly recommend it !

This place is the best! Great memories of desserts with family and friends- this is THE place I get dessert from when I am looking for the best. The only challenge is the checkout line. You have plenty of excellent workers that are helpful, efficient, and friendly, Nathaniel. Can you please find some way to add another checkout? That’s the big bottleneck. I’d be happy to just “live order” in the line and pay via my phone online. Anything to improve that bottleneck please! There are plenty of times I would like to get something and don’t because I know it is likely to take 15 or 20 minutes or more to get through the line.

The best french pastry I had in USA so far. Croissants are just amazing! Especially Almond ones! Highly recommend to go there and try! It is THE french bakery! Hidden gem in St. Louis!!!! ( be prepared to stay in a line, but it moves pretty fast. And waiting time is absolutely worth it!!!)

Got the ruby (dark chocolate and raspberry), almond croissant, ham and cheese croissant, roast beef, roasted turkey, and prosciutto sandwiches. Loved all of them! If I had to choose one sandwich, I’d definitely recommend the roasted turkey - its cheese/mayo combo is so savory and the meat is delicious! Make sure to ask the staff to toast the sandwiches. I’d also suggest eating the ruby cold.

We have been here several times and every time has been fantastic. Their sandwiches and pastries are amazing to look at as well as enjoy. Breakfast sandwich on croissant is so decadent that it’s an easy shareable! Worth the wait if there is one.

I don’t know how to be original in describing how the bakery is. All I can say it was a great afternoon, spending it with my friend while enjoying the warmth of the Chimney and the sweet taste of Ruby cake with black coffee. It was like really enjoying a precious gem.

OMgoodness my son told me you cannot get anything from here that’s not great - and he was so right. I had a Waldorf salad chicken croissant which was incredibly good. Just the right amount of grapes to add a little sweetness, lean chicken, a light dressing and the flakiest croissant I have ever had. I called in a birthday cake order for him to pick up in April (I live in Texas) and the man I talked to on the phone was very helpful. The cake was totally delicious of course.

Absolutely wonderful. They won an award for the best pastries in the US. Highly recomend for all ages. Some of the deserts would be a little bit challenging for younger kids, but they do have things kids would enjoy. Very friendly staff.
