Extremely bad experience. We went with family to have some quality time but ended but regretting the visit. They have single baby sitter and that too it was provided to another customer having 4 year old kid and we were struggling through all the time with 8 months old baby. We tried convincing the manager, staff that we are more in need of this as baby sitter is for kids not able to walk but they just ignored our request. We were helpless somehow tried managing it. Our bad visit didn’t ended up here only, we had a very bad service, bad behaviour and bad food as well. They claim to provide world class facility, but lack in hygiene, cleanliness was clearly evident. Overall a very bad day for us, we would not like to visit again to this place.

The resort is okay but not worth a 5 star Category. There was no Television to our surprise even in the Super Luxury Cottage that we chose. The AC was not working well and we had to call for maintenance for the same. There is no Spa. We opted for an All Meal Plan and the menu was quite restricted as compared to any 5 star. The north Indian food was quite good though. There was no one by the pool area to provide towels. So there is no 5 star vibe as per the services and amenities.

Nice & private cottage rooms with standard amenities available. Room service is great. You'll have to select from restricted food menu if you buy dinner + breakfast package. Staff could be more warming and welcoming.

A beautiful property! Yes, didn’t expect something like this in Varanasi, been visiting this town quite frequently but this place is very different! Warm and courteous staff, well made place. Huge area, well planned and with good security! I’m impressed with the efficiency of the security. Just that the food is average with scope for improvement. A nice and safe family resort.

Amazing property if you love peace and little far from the city it's best ..Food is very good .They serve me even buffet time over for 15 min. But they need to increase time also. Overall 5 start rating actually I must say . Kids love the swimming pool and games

You are 10 km from the town centre £24 taxi return. The best pool by far. Its supposed to be a quiet retreat Woking up ar 5am with the speakers in the garden going of. No tv or radio. Restaurant staff very helpful

The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed. I appreciated the comfortable beds and the attention to detail in the room decor. It made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Food: The dining experience at Om Vilas Hotel was exceptional. The restaurant offered a diverse menu with a wide range of delicious dishes. I particularly enjoyed [mention a specific dish or meal you liked]. The quality of food was consistently excellent throughout my stay.

Room was full of mosquitoes, the doors can’t be closed properly. So the mosquitoes were getting in easily due to the moisture in the room. Room service wasn’t able to help any further. Such a waste of money after paying 140 Dollars for a night(Villa Room). (Reediting after first day of check out: We were food poisoned from the meals they served from the restaurant. We ordered a basic spaghetti, broccoli almond soup and chicken drumsticks. The hotel doesn’t respond to any complains.)

Wonderful stay. Great in winter. Stayed in a tent like cottage. Great people and services like carts available . Green lawns and cottages around. Great ambience. Clean cottages and warmth of the heaters ( AC - heating mode ). Good food

12000+gst for cottages,more expensive than taj yet giving facilities which are subpar,plate rate per person 3200 straight from ambanis den the road leading to it is so narrow to reach and all the charges are extra for decoration to dj,if u have 2 number ka paisa feel free to go there and get looted Edited after owners reply-yes sir i definitely had a experience there with your marriage receptionist making us sit in a cigarette smelling room where we almost suffocated and fyi i am a regular at your place in machaan restaurant,just because a person didn't book your 50 lakh lawn with no amenities doesn't mean i had no experience of your greedy ways with overpriced services,should be thankful to foreigners and modiji for bringing them here or else you would have closed by now.

Best place for a weekend getaway. Lovely place for nature lovers, if you like peace and quite. Food was good and I personally enjoyed the pool. Best for family trips too.

The stay in Tent room having ensuite bathroom ( total area approx 380 sq feet ) furnished with good bed clothing / furniture was a fabulous novel experience. Natural surroundings and clean air was felt in open area sittings. Buffet lunch/dinner have varieties. One time experience of la carte was also good. Ideal for foreign tourist visiting Varanasi

Macchaan Restaurant review: Property is great. However, I have had chance to dine in there twice with family. The first time the food was impeccable with great service. But the second time it ruined the whole mood. I ordered pizza, mushroom gravy, cheese garlic naan and i kid you not it was the worst food experience for me. I think the chef got changed or something. Nan was a plain nan even though I ordered cheese garlic one. Pizza was not pizza it was just a formality done for the sake of it. Not good at all, it can improve alot. I'm sure this place can do great and the day it does, I would be happy to add more stars.

Om Vilas Banaras is a perfect stay with family. Staying here is rejuvenating and relaxing. Amenities are safe and stay friendly. 24/7 reception support, valet parking, shuttle service ,fitness center,spa and many more activities are available. Most of the beautiful places are absolutely nearby from the location. The price they offer is really worthy than it's amenities and location.

What a beautiful location. The hotel is 1st class, peaceful location, the glamping cottages are excellent and the staff are very friendly. The whole experience here you just cannot fault.

Pros- 1. Beautiful property 2. Away from rush and really soothing experience 3. Overall staff is understanding Cons - 1. Food sucks a big time (if you like pale food with no salt you will like it) 2. Servicing is too slow and looks like the staff is not trained for this job , a normal person with no experience with hospitality can do better job 3. Clueless staff if any problem occurs they don't have single clue what to do they call their seniors senior take time so it's ruin things

Omvilas Resort in Varanasi is a hidden gem! The serene ambiance, lush gardens, and attentive staff make it a perfect getaway. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained. The food is delectable, especially the local cuisine. I highly recommend this resort for a peaceful and memorable stay in Varanasi.

We visited Restaurant and sorry to say Service is not good. Vishal was serving us and he was not at all hostile in services. No water, no tissues, hygiene wasn't maintained.. even on plates. We order fish tikka, it was too salty, matka dal which was served on aluminium dish, it was such a pathetic service by him... even moong dal halwa was tasting inedible with off notes of dal.. BAD EXPERIENCE!!

One of the most beautiful resorts in Varanasi! The restaurant Machaan is unmatchable. The cottages are very aesthetic. Overall, the ambience of the place is quite impressive

We didn’t stay but tried food at machan restaurant and it was cold and pathetic! Price is very high but taste is not good. One expected rich flavours and hot food while what we got was cold curries with raw taste of spices! Would not recommend dining in at their restaurant.

The interior is very good & food taste is delicious. Staff are very co-operative & strict with rules. A perfect place for gathering & outing. Dining cost for 2 people will charge approximately 1500 & 2000 for 3 people.

One word. AWESOME! With lush green property, delicious food, comfortable stays and excellent hospitality, this place certainly deserves the tag of one of the “Best Resorts” in Varanasi. The only cons which I personally felt was the location of the resort. More particularly, if you are coming to visit Varanasi specially to visit Ghats, Temples and enjoy street food, then this place might not be a good pick for you as it is located 8-9 km outside the city and in daytime it will take around 40-50 mins (maybe more considering poor traffic of Varanasi) to reach ghats from this resort. Otherwise, if you are searching for a place where you can just chill and enjoy good food and booze with your friends/family/partner along with outdoor activities and pool, then this is the place that you are looking for!! Pro tip- It costs cheaper if you book online than booking offline from the property itself.
