Love it! Absolutely stunning.. Vrelo Bosne is a public park, featuring a spring of the River Bosna, at the foothills of the Mount Igman on the outskirts of Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. One of the most beautiful places in Sarajevo to hang out, chill, eat, drink, take photo and relax.

To get there you need to take tram 4/6/3 to the last stop Ilidža. Or the buses from the stop Čengič Vila to Ilidža. After that by the Velika aleja which it the perfect place you can rich the park (it's 3,5 km long alley). Also you can go by train to the station Blažuj. The only one thing is sad - people don't know that feeding the wild birds with bread is dangerous for birds 😏

Vrelo Bosne is worth visiting when you are in Sarajevo. It’s slightly far away from the city but you can go there with e-go. Not sure about the public transport but I suggest you go there in your personal vehicle.

Probably the most beautiful part of Sarajevo, I would spend hours there. It is very peaceful, especially early in the morning, very little people there. Birds, sound of the river, and the fresh air is all you need ro recharge your batteries.

Nature with perfectly add human touch. Small bridges, crystal clear water, well maintained green. If you just go for a walk and photos you will need 1-2 hours. If you plan to sit in a restaurant, pay whole day parking (5BAM).

One of most amazing places visited in Bosnia and Hercegovina. Bosnia itself has some of the cleanest and most abundant water in the whole World. The place is well kept and being out of season and during work week it was incredible relaxing. Parking was easy and park is mostly flat besides the small bridges and few remote areas.

Very beautiful and peaceful place- perfect for spending a day in nature and unwind. The springs look truly magical- with wooden bridges, trees and their branches hanging just above the water, several waterfalls with their calming sound, as well as swans and ducks swimming in small lakes- just like a forest fairytale! There is also a nice playground for children and a restaurant on site. You can walk around the park and take a carriage ride with horses later!

Another a-must-visit place if you are visiting Sarajevo. On the route with some other sight-seeing places in the area, easy to find, a lot of space to park the car, also a great place to take a walk after seeing the spring of the river Bosnia, drink coffee, grab some local bosnian food. There is also a nice playground for the kids and an option to take a ride with the horse-carriage, one of a kind, almost extinct nowadays.

Nature is fine but litter is everywhere and there is no real parking, people often have to rely on horse carriages or walk 1-2+ km.

This is the best place in Sarajevo to relaxing and enjoying the nature. I felt like I was walking through in a fairytale. There are 2 cafes inside, located in a good area where has a good view. Prices are reasonable.

This place is such a great place to walk and relax your brain. It needs some improvement and guide information. Food trucks and some summer activities would make it a great distinction.

Nicely arranged park 10 km from the center of Sarajevo. In the heat of summer, the shade is good before the traveler moves on. The only thing that bothers you is the disorderly traffic on the narrow road, when you can barely avoid another car.

A huge park with superb atmosphere, very relaxing. Be prepared: the parking is not easy, and you have to pay for it. If you cannot find a place, a family nearby uses their garden for public parking place. Go for that one: they help to get in, not that expensive, you can stay all day long. You can leave the car in the shades, and there is always somebody to look after security. Remember to have local money with you since at the park's entrance it is not possible to pay with card, and they don't accept euro. Absolutely cheap, around 1 euro/person.

Beautiful place, very natural ans scenic place. Toliet facilities aren't the best (can be lines, and dirty)so make sure to organise yourself before entering. Take your time driving in and our, very tight and congested at times.

I found this park very nice but, according to me, to ask a total payment of around 5 bam between parking and the park, which is really, really small, it should have been something more. No indications, no way to find the Roman bridge, a restaurant with toilets that were particularly smelly and dirty....Considering that it takes around 45minutes to arrive there with the traffic jam, you may visit this place if you really want to.

Beautiful gift from nature! I visited this place 35 years ago, and it looks so well maintained and clean. It seems that is not enough maintained by people who work there. Restoran or Cafe has very polite and friendly staff. We enjoy very much!

Wow great place to spend time in nature! Really good place for walking, maybe running. You can sit in restaurant and take coffee or sweet. You need to pay entrance 2km=cca 1eur and if you came with car need to pay parking per hour. Enjoy

A nice park with many trees, which spend shadows. The water helps to make hot weather comfortable. The parking fee is around 5 km and the entrance for adults is 2 km.

Short drive from Sarajevo city, spend two hours into this lovely park The first obstacle is the parking personnel who forces us to pay 5 BAM for a full day parking; while we kept insisting that we need only an hour inside the park. Long story short, we end up paying 5 BAM for him, Just because!! Note that the parking management is separated for the park management … 👍🏽nice staff at the entry gate, who by the way were surprised about what happens to us and they were upset as much as we were, their welcoming approach to us made us less frustrated and focused into enjoying the place 👍🏽calm and quiet reservation 👍🏽plenty of wooden benches 👍🏽soothing water streams and you can enjoy the swans and the ducks if you are lucky 👍🏽restaurant is available 👍🏽good walking paths and over the river bridges … 👎 the facilities needed serious service and taking care of 👎the farther side of the reservation was less taken care of … I would recommend this reservation/park as it only costs 2 BAM/person; if you are not to clash with parking officer 🥲and go with flow when it comes on how much you are willing to pay if you are staying for less than two hours

Great place, such a lovely nature. The well is strong, not the tiny one, but huge amount of water in several lakes.

Good place for a peaceful time. Find and explore the paths that aren't the common ones for extra adventure. Also, horse carriages are a nice break and a way to experience the tradition. Excellent place for kids

Love Vrelo Bosne. It is usually very peaceful and serene. Late October was perfect timing to see the leaves changing.

A very beautiful public park. The spring of bosne River. Calm place for relaxation and to have a nice picnic. Take your time to enjoy the nice weather and the area, there are seats and you can just bring your things and relax there. There is a restaurent there as well but I wouldn't recommend it. The staff are lousy and half the menu isn't available.

I love visiting this park. It is about 20km ($10) for a ride one way. The horse ride is nice and the view is amazing. If you ask for “studentski karta” it costs 1km entrance. (14-23 years old). It is a good exercise too and there are many food stands down the road near the hotels.
