Great hike, wide trails, beautiful view. The loop at the end of the hike (between the upper and lower part of the falls) is closed because of a landslide, but is passable. "Enter at your own risk". All the following pictures are from the landslide area for your personal risk assessment.

almost a hundred meters high waterfall located in a dense forest looks beautiful. It is located at an altitude of about 1300 meters and can be reached by forest path on foot or off-road vehicle.

Great true nature. Perfect for a hike, mountain bike ride, or just relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. Marked trails with resting spots along the way. Waterfall is a miracle and easy to access top or the bottom of it on foot. Fully recommended for a day out in fresh air and well preserved nature.

Beautiful place , wild nature. Not many people at waterfall because road is taking 1 h through forest. But when you get there this amazing place is worth every minute of your walk !

Brilliant waterfalls. Definitely visit. There are enough parking spaces available. The path itself is family friendly. A great natural spectacle. Worth it 👍.

Road to get to it is disaster. By car you can only get to end point where you start walking. You need at least 2 hours hiking through woods and finaly you get to the piont of big rock and water leakaging.... nature is great but not to much to see. Disapointing. My recomandation - don't waste your time to visit this place, only if you want to spent whole day in woods. Not worth it. Go to Kravica waterfals.

It was a beautiful forest walk. Unfortunately there was no water at the time. The view point is also not that great.

Very beautiful place with just a few restaurants. They serve fresh fishes and local dishes like cevapi or sudžukica. There are also fast foods but I would not recommend them 😉

Fantastic place to enjoy that nature. You need to be aware that you have to drive off-road for the last two kilometers. Also, you have to walk for almost 1 km until you arrive to the waterfall location. So be prepared for a short hiking. If you have elder people, you need to think as it might be difficult for them especially the return walking which will be uphill.

Place is suitable maybe for local folks, for foreighn travelers who saw Alps, other great mountains and waterfalls nothing to do there. The waterfall is completely unimpressive (and what can a tiny stream create?), the road leading to it is of poor quality, narrow, winding and even dangerous in places. I highly recommend to avoid this place, it is just waste of time!

Free entry. It is possible to drive up the road to the rest area with the huts. After that you will need park your car and walk. The track to the Skakavac waterfall was closed (on 11 June 2023) so we “only” got to see the waterfall from above (the viewpoint) which was still an amazing view. The nature reserve, the tracks and the rest areas we saw on our way to the waterfall viewpoint were well maintained, there was no trash and there were park rangers cutting grass and securing some areas. Also lots of benches to sit and rest on.

This 98-meter-long waterfall is the reason why, if you visit Sarajevo, you should make a small trip to nature. It is located about 13 km north of the center of Sarajevo. It is most beautiful during the winter, when the minuses freeze and the creatures form. However, during nice weather it is ideal for, for example, a picnic under the waterfall. From the lookout point, you can go down on marked trails. The track can be reached on foot or by car from the suburban settlement of NAHOREVO, about 6 km away, as far as the gravel access allows. Another option is to take a bus from the center of Sarajevo to Nahorevo, then walk.

So close to Sarajevo, you can find a Bosnia and Herzegovina's gem, the highest waterfall Skakavac. Bring good spirit and good friends, and enjoy!

The road is too bad we become ice shake because of the bumpy road. When we arrived there is no waterfall up there even we walked in the forest for 30 minute there is no waterfall. Bad day bad memories bad experience.

This place is very pretty , but you have to park your car and walk about 3 km to get to the waterfall , the downside is there are no directions what so ever , we had to ask people that we randomly saw for directions , there should be signs pointing to the right path because there are multiple paths that you can get lost in . it's the woods you really don't want to get lost lol

Great hike from Sarajevo. U can go by car and then walk in the park. Or if u like long steep walks, u can walk all the way from the city hall up the mountain until the waterfalls; this would take around 3:20 hours with some quite steep parts.
