NO NO NO!! WORST FOOD AND STAFF in Sarajevo EVER!! They overcharge and are very rude. I ordered cevapci which is supposed to come with yogurt/or cream (as shown in the photo below), but it didn’t. When I asked for some, the waiter brought me yoghurt, however he proceeded to charge me for it. When I told him that the yogurt was part of this dish, the waiter said that it is not part of it and that I shouldn’t worry about the picture. I immediately asked to see the manager. A young girl who has no idea about customer service and was extremely impolite came and said she does not care about what I am saying and that I have to pay the bill. When I stood outside to take a photograph of the establishment for the purposes of this review, the waiter inside stood smiling with thumbs up arrogantly proud of their ‘amazing customer service’ (sic). Apparently, this restaurant has a rather bad reputation among people in Sarajevo itself. We learned about this from a tour guide the very next day. I have never seen a restaurant with staff like this in my life!! FYI, the restaurant and the food are not Turkish. It is run by Bosnians and these particular Bosnians lack politeness.

Delicious, authentic Turkish cuisine. The restaurant is almost entirely surrounded by glass windows which can be opened completely, turning the place into an outdoor restaurant right on the river. The food is very affordable (33KM for two adults for dinner) and of very good quality. The staff is very helpful and friendly, they even gave each of us a complimentary Turkish tea after our meal.

The restaurant is amazing. Definitely a place you should visit when in Sarajevo, especially if you love Turkish cuisine.

Horrible food, couldn't even finish the food how bad is it, tried turkish food all over the world and i can say this was the worst one ever. Rice was old just heated most probably from yesterday, pide got dry after half a minute kebab doesn't taste like kabab. Staff are horrible, I strongly believe they hate their job. Very overpriced food for 0 quality

Tried firin kebab and etli ekmek. Where the look was not promising of firin kebap, the taste was good. Etli ekmek is served on long wood and it was average. Service was kind, they kept our luggages whike we was visiting the city.

Food was amazing! I loved the experience and everything. Restaurant is in the heart of old town and there is plenty of room to sit.

TERRIBLE STAFF We waited 2 hours and 20 minutes to receive a dish, and when the waiter brought the check we asked about that dish and he said “oops I forgot”. He then proceeded to yell in our faces and made a scene at the restaurant. The boss came over and pushed the fault on us and was not at all apologetic. Horrible service. Horrible staff. Horrible management.

Ive been here a few times. Staff are great. Food is fresh, but could use a bit more flavor, its just a bit bland. Many of the dishes have a lot of the same type of food in it and that gets a bit overwhelming when choosing an option. The vibe is generally good but its right on a busy street near the river, and at night time there are a ton of bugs. Dont get surprised if one or two end up in your meal while you eat it so be careful unless you like the extra calories haha. Overall good experience

The ultimate disappointment. My husband and I ate there a total of 3 times. The first time the food was good, but there was just a bad atmosphere. The 2nd time we ate there there was a waiter with the worst attitude. No one smiles. No general good service unfortunately. Oh and I found a dead fly in my lahmacun. 3rd time we ate there was only because of the soup, but Oh my God we were met with the worst attitude. I asked the waiter nicely if he could bring a lemon and he ROLLED HIS EYES and ignored me. I asked to speak to the owner's daughter since she was there and she didn’t want to speak to me. They do NOT deserve a single star. Oh to show respect but not get it back!!! ABSOLUTE FAIL!

Some of the best iskender I have ever had! Tasty and good prices. Don't get the wings however, they weren't good. The rest amazing, went twice.

The meat was literally raw-red. Hygiene level is below zero (the food was smelly & the kitchen looked horrendous lol). I see so many good reviews so it might be a bad day for them, nonetheless we paid a lot for a terrible service.

Amazing restaurant, food was so good and the customer service is excellent. All the types of Turkish dishes you can imagine with very good prices. The view is a plus .

I am giving this place 5 stars in spite of the fact that food is not 100% Turkish. Of course, food in Turkey is different in terms of spices they add. But here, in Bosnia, there isn't much choice so I'm glad they have at least this place where you can eat Turkish-like food. It's not authentic but overall it looks and tastes delicious. Service is very quick and friendly too. But if you are from Turkey yourself you will probably not like it, and a lot of negative reviews prove that. So if you are from Turkey or you are a big expert in Turkish quisine, do not go here! But everyone else will probably be satisfied with and enjoy the food.

This place used to be great. They had amazing mercimek (lentil) soup. I uderstand that prices have rised everywhere, but to double up the prices and to lower the quality of food is outrageous! The soup was watery and the doner kebap meet was almost spoiled.

Saturday, peak season, out of 5 things we wanted to order, 3 were not available. Waiter was not very proffesional, coming at least 3 times to our table to confirm/ask again about our order, since he would simply forget. Not to mention huge number of insects and spiders hanging from the terrace ceiling. Best to avoid, there are much better restaurants nearby, with better food and service.

Not a second time! Etli ekmek dry and no meat. Showed and explained the waiter and got as excuse some tea. At least we paid 140BAM/70€ and was still hungry.

Great Konyali experience unless you visited Konyali in Turkey. One step down from their original services but it is the best they could do here. This location needs 4 or 5 more staff to serve food. Etli Ekmek was really good. The best you could eat in Sarajevo.

A group of us dined at Konyali while on a tour. It was conveniently located close to our hotel and was recommended by the tour guide. The the food was tasty - we ordered the cheese and beef pita and beef and chicken kanas. The Turkish tea was delightful. The air staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the amount of second hand smoke however that seems to be the norm here in local restaurants.

This restaurant is amazing! This is a great place to try new foods. The staff was very helpful and accommodating to an English speaker. The environment is open, yet comfortable. The menu is massive. There are great description with pictures of the dishes. On top of all of that, there are great views throughout the restaurant.
