Excellent sushi made by fully-dedicated sushi master. It delivers sushi to wherever you are around the city, but dining-in would gives you better taste and freshness and beautiful plating of the sushi plus a bit of performance on how the suahi is made. Call for reservation as Sushi San only have very limited space for dine-in. The best salmon sashimi in town is served here.

The best sushi experience I've had. The chef spoke to us the whole time he was preparing, telling us about the dish, the ingredients, the shop, and past customers. We watched everything made right in front of us. The Miso soup was really good, I'd never had good Miso before. The California roll was one of my favorites, and the eel sashimi and shrimp sashami was great. Their wasabi was also really tasty. Highly recommended if you're in Sarajevo!

For sure THE BEST SUSHI in Sarajevo and complete Bosnia, I am sorry that I have any pictures, but I think that taking pictures at the time as the Sushi Chef prepare the food or I got already prepared ones on my table, iz will be for sure disrespectful. By far, the best Sushi we’ve had in Europe. And we’ve had a lot of it! Amazing fresh fish, artfully presented in a cozy environment filled with Jazz music. We will be back in Sarajevo just for the sushi!

One of the best sushi experiences in Europe! The owner and chef was really welcoming fb and it was super amazing to interact and hear from him. You sit at the sushi bar and can watch each price getting made perfectly. The sushi itself was really amazing too and definitely connected with the west coast vibe and Japanese style. I was able to order nigiri separately and each piece was really amazing. I would highly recommend visiting and enjoying this amazing sushi experience!

With no doubt, best sushi place on Balkan. Only thing that disappointed me was there was no ingredient for Ikura gunkan on the day I visited. Chef will give you best sushi in Sarajevo, with some interesting conversations. I would visit Sarajevo again only to taste chef’s Ikura Gunkan.

The tastiest sushi in the town and beyond. It is a small place but cosy, where you are able to sit and watch the chef prepare the sushi for you. Fresh fish, great rice. They make their own pickled ginger and luckily one can buy a jar from them. When we crave something good, healthy, tasty and high-quality, we go for this place.

This is one of the best places for sushi I have ever tried. Truly a hidden gem in Sarajevo. The owner Darco was very welcoming and made the sushi right Infront of us. The place closes at 6pm so make sure you reach here early.

I've never ate inside, only been there to pick up my order. It's a small cozy venue, the staff are pleasant and nice. I would say if you want to eat sushi in Sarajevo this is the only place you should try. I would suggest to call and order for pick up cause they don't have reservations and it's a small place so easy to fill up.

Excellent sushi spot, despite me being weary of sushi in Sarajevo at first. Decided to go due to the excellent reviews. Only 6 spots so it fills up quickly. Got nigiri, sashimi and maki and all were fantastic. The chef clearly knows what he is doing and caters well to his guests. Everything tasted delicious. Would highly recommend!

So far, an amazing sushi restaurant, the attention was good all the time and the owner is really nice as well as the people who works there, you can tell the dedication, therefore the food was delicious. For sure I will return!

Sushi with a side of personality, please! This man is passionate and will not give you the typical “people pleasing” experience. Sit down, order some rolls, nigiri, miso soup (a must!) and/or sashimi, and savour it. And go early! It’s small and the food stops a little before close. If you get the chance to chat with them, I suggest it. It’s not just the food that makes the experience, it’s these two interesting men behind the bar as well.

As a sushi lover I gotta to say that this is the best Sushi I ever ate! The prices are decent, the sushi is super delicious and they have a lot of variety. The chef is super kind and explains a lot about the making of sushi and how to eat it the proper japanese way, I recommend this to everyone from the bottom of my heart :)

I could feel the care they put into every plate. The establishment itself was small, but that's what created its cozy vibe. I felt at home and enjoyed every moment spent there. I appreciated the intimate setting they created, where I could relax and savor delicious food. The background music, with its light jazz, added charm and appeal to the establishment. It played softly, complementing the cozy interior and excellent cuisine. Overall, I am very satisfied with my visit to this establishment. Just by talking briefly to the owner you can see that they’re taking their job seriously, it’s highly professional. Since it’s a “seat in front of the cuisine” type of place you can see that each sushi piece is made with extreme care. Ingredients are fresh, workers are very pleasant, even the jazz playing in the background is relaxing as you see your pieces getting made. Forget the “generic sushi place”, this is the real deal. I’d go back a million times.

A sushi experience like the one you'll get at Sushi San is rare. The owner and staff are all lovely and skillful and you can tell there's passion behind every piece, that all have distinctive tastes and feel like a piece of heaven in your mouth. If you happen to be in Bosnia and like Japanese food, you absolutely need to visit this place!

Amazingly good menu. We tried various picks and got our jaws down how great every bite was. Tuna, Salmon, rolls, everything is impeccable. Even our youngest one loved hers first sushi specially made 😊
