Worst experience ever. I brought my international friends to have dinner but one of the waiters was Racist and rude and told us that we can not dine here. While even trying to find another reservation for another day he started making excuses and not letting us reserve a table and he told us to come in 15 days. I told him it’s ok I will reserve a table after 15 days and he was shocked that I was still determined so he told me he was busy and can not book us a table and told us to leave the restaurant.

On behalf of our company we booked a table. We wanted to present the Bosnian cuisine to our foreign guest and business partner. It is mild to say that, it didn't meet our or any expectations. The side dish was served and charged separately from the main dish. Every dish within the menu is charged separately. This was mentioned only at the end, when the bill came. But the highlight of the evening was the service. When the waiter came with the main dish, he was "serving" the meat from a wodden platter by throwing it to the plate in front of each and every one, like he was feeding dogs. Awesome dining experience...

The portions were small and expensive, extremely unpleasant staff (waiters throwing food at plates and similar) and a waiting time of two hours for the food despite the reservation. The view is beautiful, but cannot compensate for the high prices and rude staff. Overall not worth the time and money. Great example of a rip off.

I could say one of the nicest restaurants in Sarajevo. Beautiful view, food ratio/ quality / price is amazing, service is perfect. I don’t have any negative critic.

I am from Spain, I was there for a business trip and I was lucky to know that place. Incredible food, incredible place... you can't ask for more! What I liked the most were the meats and the wines. I would come back without hesitation.

The best what happened to me! Heaven! It’s not only best food and a great view but the whole experience of being there! People who work there are the heart and soul, The place is like to be back to home where you are loved, the food is beyond any expectations. Strongly Recommend

Amazing food, very kind service and overall great experience. Very authentic dishes and generous portion sizes as Bosnians usually do it. I'd come back weekly if I were to be local. One small drawback is location that requires navigating narrow streets and we had been stuck 30min behind two cars that had light crash on our way down, but that won't influence rating as owner has nothing to do with traffic around the place.

This was the culinary climax of our trip to Sarajevo. We had the muckalica, the klepe and the chicken soup and everything was perfect. It was also very kind of the waiter to still find us a place as they were fully booked. Totally worth our half hour walk there through the rain.

Great service, nice Bosnian food, and a beautiful view and drive up!

Recently I had lunch with my family here and its kind of hard to write this review. I liked my lunch so much, atmosphere was more than pleasant, amazing view, staff was helpful and welcoming, the food tasted amazing. However, sudžukice my wife and I had give us huge problems the following night. I am sorry I have to say this but I will never have food here again. The stomach problems I had that night in June 2023 I will never forget. And I would not want this to my worst enemies. It took me a solid week to recover and start eating normal food. I do not know if sudžukice were undercooked because they tasted fine, but for the love of God, please think what kind of risk you are putting your customers to with these actions. I would have taken you to court for this food poisoning if I though it could come to a some positive result. I just feel lucky that I survived that night, and I am not using this word lightly.

The place is in the hills, and there is a beautiful view of the city. The whole place has an ethno feel, starting from the decoration of the interior, to the menu with traditional dishes. We visited on Friday night, without reservation, and almost were not seated, so making reservation is a good idea. Food was excellent.

I recently dined at Bašča kod Ene and found it to be a decent spot. The food was satisfactory, though not exceptional, and the ambiance was pleasant. However, I must mention that the service was quite slow, which affected the overall experience. If you're looking for a relaxed meal and don't mind a leisurely pace, this restaurant could still be worth a visit.

If you want to try something authentic and traditional in Sarajevo, do not miss to visit the Bašča restaurant near Ena. This restaurant offers some of the best traditional Bosnian dishes in town, prepared with fresh and quality ingredients

A place you must visit if you are in Sarajevo. Incredibly good Mućkalica and lamb. You must know that advance booking is necessary. This place really works great, the staff know their job as well as the chefs. Thank you for everything.

Authentic Bosnian food - not just čevapčiči but also a lot of other interesting and tasty stews, pitas, different grilled meat and of course sweets:) beautiful view in Sarajevo and mountains. I wish we would visit them again during the sunny day - even it was wonderful experience during the rainy evening too.

I fell in love with this place when I first saw it, and my expectations were high, but all of theme were easily met by great service, delicious food, and cozy ambience. The prices were more than fair, so there’s no doubt in my mind that I’ll be back. I highly recommend the “Mućkalica” stew, but you probably won’t go wrong with anything here.

Excellent food. Nice place and atmosphere. Seating may be outdoors or indoors. If you sit outdoors, you'll enjoy a magnificent view over Sarajevo. But getting to restaurant is quite an adventure; going through steep, narrow, and winding roads

Amazing Bosnian food experience as always with stunning views. Best to visit from May till September when weather is warm also can sit outdoors in the garden. I recommend everything from the menu!

The best restaurant in Sarajevo! We are visiting this place for over a ten years and it is always the same, excellent quality of food, kind and professional staff and great atmosphere. “Bašča” is the place where we take friends, visitors, business partners - you can take anybody there and your guests will be amazed.

Bombastic traditional food, you can even ask them in advance sometimes to roast a whole goat. Meat is tender n perfectly cooked, the traditional sweets amazing as well. We had a bit of all of them, i loved the apple sweet most. Highly recommended and I've been to most of sarajevo's restaurants.

The location, food, atmosphere and service of this restaurant is just outstanding. Trust the waiters. They will recommend great local food. When in Sarajevo “Bašča kod Ene“ is a must visit! Enjoy some burek while listening to Bosnian songs…:-)
