I went there 7 years ago while touring Eastern Europe with a friend. We were staying not too far from this place, we stayed for 3-4 days, and went there literally everyday. Every morning. It became a ritual. The food is amazing, nothing complex, nothing "fancy". Just.. simple, flavorful, honest food. I still think about this place from time to time. This restaurant still lingers in my mind, and I think that is a prerequisite for a restaurant to be called fantastic, memorable. 6⭐ Cannot recommend enough if you're in Sarajevo.

Outstanding, delicious and authentic Bosnian dishes. The portions are not so big, but it is worth the money. A mix of various dishes e.g. sarma, dolma, meat balls, stew, spinach, rice costs 11 KM. Bread is included.

Very traditional Bosnian food with warm services. They are all very delicious.

This is a traditional Bosnian restaurant in the old town. I tried pacha which is the feet of the lamb and the stomach of the lamb (ischkembe). If you don’t like giblets of the lamb , it can have a strong taste for you but I liked it. By the way, signature meals can finish earlier during the day. The prices are normal, not cheap not expensive. In brief, it worths to try.

In my opinion not a satisfying value for the money you pay...10 KM, small plate. Taste was good though, something different than burek and čevapi

Typical canteen-style place. The food was alright. However, we were charged €7 (14KM) for a very small portion of food - we think we were overcharged because we were tourists. Wouldn't recommend this place.

Good tasty food, slow cooked Bosnian food, got the mix for 14 KM, slightly more than the nearby Aščinica Stari Grad, but was tastier, with the stuffed tomato and spinach (?) making it more balanced

Super authentic place with mostly locals eating in. It’s a sort of “buffet” style where you come and only order from what they have already cooked. We had dolma and begova čorba. Dolma was perfect, soup was nothing special, but tasted good. Definitely recommend for the local vibe. :)

Real Bosnian cuisine, domestic meals. The fun part is that you get to sit with unknown people in a "social sitting" setup

Place with proper Bosnian traditional food and good atmosphere. This is something special and you need to try it. Definetely reccommendation is to try mix of everything.

Lovely local food, we had the stuffed peppers, bean stew, and some beef koftas with rice and spinach and all of it was absolutely delicious

Great local experience. We didn't know what to get, luckily they have option "Everything". As I understood that is popular tourist option and it's simple why... It's the easiest way how to taste everything (surprise, surprise...)

The best place for food in the centre of Sarajevo. Staff are very helpful in explaining what's available each day. Very fair prices, best klepe I've ever had.

Lovely people serving amazing slow cooked food. I saw them bringing out the freshly cooked dishes in the morning, had soup early, then went back for lunch and got a mixed plate to try everything.

Tastiest food I have had in Bosnia! Very nice staff, quick service and tastes great. Ask for the mixed plate and try a taste of everything. My favorite was sogan dolma.

This place is very very old. I don't have the exact time but you will see when you go inside... you will meet with the Bosnian cuisine and it's good. Try Beg soup.

If you want to experience traditional Bosnian cuisine, this is the place to go. Food is always delicious and fresh. The owners and staff are courteous and professional. Also, don't be surprised if someone else sits at the same table as you. It's customary in settings like these to grab a seat and enjoy the meal. This is a must-see if you're in Sarajevo!

One of our favorite simple traditional homemade locals meal of the trip. You can pick what you want from so many dishes to choose from. Highly recommend the stuffed vegetables especially the stuffed zucchini! Soft chewy bread and so fresh and bey’s soup was delicious

Just what many people are looking for! After 6 days of downpour rains, I wanted soup(4km) and hot dishes. They put together a combo plate for me (9km)with pita bread included. Beautiful smiles throughout this place from the employees to the loyal stream of customers. Home cooked food made with love!
