(Translated by Google) Bosnia and Herzegovina, as a country with a rich history, abounds in museums, but among them stands out the unique museum of Sarajevo Brewery, the oldest industrial facility in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with exhibits that are well worth a visit. As it was emphasized, the oldest industrial facility is a witness of numerous events that took place throughout the history of beer creation and which have remained forever recorded in the memory from the beginning to the present day. The museum houses a large number of unique exhibits of the history of the Sarajevo Brewery .... After visiting the recommendations, enjoy a dark Sarajevo beer in the nearby restaurant HS Pivnica, which offers a phenomenal gastronomic offer ....

Total disappointment. What they say a museum is a room with advertisements and a story about the brewery. Nothing from the brewery itself. And no one speaks English. There's a girl at the entrance who sells tickets but doesn't know how to explain what tickets is she selling. We entered asked her bought the tickets but people after us they just came in walked around and left without even being checked for tickets. This room is more than an information centre than a museum.

Worst rip-off ever. 10 marks = 5 euros for one room full of stale pictures and the most boring explanations that it would take ages to read only to understand they were completely useless. Those people are real crooks.

10 BAM for one tiny room full of bottle and cans! Ridiculous! Better spend time in restaurant near to drink much cheaper beer.

I dont understand the critics about this museum. Yes, no guided tours - but they also dont promise this anywhere. Beside-very interesting exhibition also in english about the economical history of Sarajevo in the kontext of the brewery.Small souvenir shop with very friendly staff. I enjoyed it very much!

Not much of a "museum", it's just a room with some miniature beer brewery kettles/pots, a few old bottles, a couple of old poster ads and some very basic information. Do not go here expecting you will see the brewery process, a real tour or expecting a real museum as this is not it. One can find more information on wikipedia than in this place. As a local, I think this is a tourist-trap/rip-off.

The museum itself is quite small, comprising of one small exhibition hall and a gift shop, but since the ticket is only 5KM (about 2,5€), which also includes a small beer or juice at the Sarajevo brewery, it's worth the visit. The girl who works there is super friendly, charming and informative. Across the street is their shop, where you can buy a can of beer for 0,6€.

Lady at the reception says it costs 10KM to enter and you can only enter one room. I take a look inside and there's just some beer bottles and labels, so I decided not to get a ticket. Complete joke. Where do you have to go to see all the other things in the pictures? Looks amazing but either something has changed or I was at the wrong ticket office, maybe the same brewery has a different ticket office elsewhere? Very incompetent in any case. Don't pay 10KM for a tiny room, obviously. Or are people reviewing the restaurant?

The brewery cannot be visited and the staff in the "museum" (one small room) seems to have the single job of telling visitors simply that the brewery can't be visited. The museum itself is dull and 5€ entry is totally overpriced. The t-shirts for sale are all in the size "s" and the staff informed us that the brewery's management is unwilling to order larger sizes until all small shirts are sold. Luckily the beer is tasty, but that doesn't require a visit. There are better places to see in Sarajevo

Almost nothing to see, waste of time and money. It is only a small room with pictures and posters and very few objects. If you expect to visit an old brewery and find something about how the beer was produced before all the machines, forget about it. For walls, few pictures and a tax. The only good word is for the lady that sells the tickets and share some info about the brewery.

Small, but fine. You can get acqainted wit the history of the brewery and have a lunch in the restaurant near by. I never understood why they charge an entrance, however small it is (3 km).

Basic museum with some historical items related to the breweries history. Could have made a little more about events during the Siege of Sarajevo where the brewery kept making beer and provided the main fresh water source for the inhabitants. 5 Marks is the entrance fee with a drink at the nearby restaurant. Would probably be worth spending the entire amount on more beers there and skip the museum.

Very secluded but fun place to visit with bits of history & beer to listen about. It is a single room to be seen, with few souvenirs to buy. Few meters from the museum is the brewery shop with all the beers they produceat discount prices.

In another review it states "if you've come to the brewery then you might as well visit the museum" - which is true. This is the only European brewery which has been operating continuously since 1864. In 1907 it was the largest brewery in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Beer production didn't even cease even during the 1992-1995 Bosnian war. There are no actual tours of the Sarajevsko Brewery however the single room museum (5€ entry) does explain the company's history throughout Ottoman times, the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the War in Bosnia. The entrance ticket also gives you a discount on a draft beer at the brewery's nearby pub/bar, Pivnica HS. It probably only appeals to the true beer aficionados. So, if you were expecting something like the Heineken Experience in Amsterdam then be prepared to be disappointed.

You can buy beer glasses from there as souvenirs but they don’t have any paper to wrap them or a box to put them. The museum is so small, it isn’t worth the ticket money.
