Hotel Europe nearby the Catholic church which attracts me the most, its also nearby the tourist spot where more people says once you been there once you then will be there again for the second time. Its lovely place and a moment to remember. All the staff always just smiling coz hard hard to understand thier language🥰🥰🥰

Overpriced for what they offer, bedrooms are very old and dirty, poor equipped with towels shampoos and all of the usual stuff that comes in a hotel like this. Breakfast was very good with different varieties of food, but plates, tables and everything was very dirty. Garage for the car 15€ for one night, one juice and small water from a minibar 6€ Not coming here anymore

First, located in an amazing spot. Quick walk to the markets, restaurants, etc. Staff was nice. I paid $100 a night which is a decent amount for being right in the city. Pool was closed. Could not enjoy any of the amenities which is why I booked my room there. My room had an amazing view but they put me right next to a construction zone. Sparks flying during the day. No ceiling. No area blocked off area for safety. Furniture everywhere! It was not a good feeling to have all that mess when I stepped out of my room. I don’t appreciate that at all. Door wouldn’t lock well. Not my favorite stay and don’t feel I got my moneys worth.

Look this is not a 5 star hotel, it is an average 4 start hotel with great location, but its not a bad hotel. Pros: - Staff - Location - Rooms as really clean but a bit old Cons: - Garage parking is additionaly charged 10€/day (first hotel I had been to where parking is charged) - False advertising In my opinion I got what I paid for so if this was advertised as a 4 star hotel my rating would be 4-4+

***** PEOPLE BEWARE ***** I have no idea why this hotel has such high ratings. Everything is outdated.. the room was dirty; scratches all over the furniture.. the room air did not work. They had to bring in a fan.. our babies milk and food went bad in their fridge even tho we reported it was not working, they came in and insisted it worked. Loud music playing from weddings taking place there, unable to sleep. Horrible view despite asking for a specific view of the city they gave us the opposite. We had such a horrible experience despite paying for 2 nights we left after the first night for another hotel. The prices charged where different then listed online. Room 622 10/8/22-10/9/22 Been to many hotels here and in the U.S. This felt more like a Motel then a Hotel. -Sanel

The worst 5 star hotel I have seen in my life ever! The location is of course good for the film festival. The rooms are old and more like 3 star hotels and the garden cafe/restaurant staff among the unfriendliest and rudest people. They banged into some hotel guests and didn't even apologize. Just hostile looks instead. Service should get zero stars here. Will never agian stay at this hotel, if not forced to.

The best hotel in Sarajevo. Positioned right in the heart of the old town. The cult "Vienna Café Restaurant" is located within the hotel.

Is this a joke? You only pay for a Room, nothing else.. they have private events almost the entire time, and closing down the place. So you have the room and lobby to be in. Please do something for your other paying guests. Enjoyed the spa and the location nothing more.. dont come here if you expect more than a room, with wrong hanging pictures and bad cleaning.

Great hotel if you like it dirty and dated. Positive: great location, helpful staff. Negative: this hotel is not what it was. WiFi not working in room. Poor cleaning. Bathtub leaking from behind.

I remember this hotel from few years ago, it has obviously lost its charm. Mostly due to COVID and lack of maitenance I guess. Location is still great, but inside is a bit worn down. Breakfast could be much better, given it is a 5 star hotel.

This is a review of the massage in the Wellness Centar. I am grateful that Hotel Europe's massage service is open to the public. After a series of indifferent massages elsewhere in Sarajevo I finally found my way here. The skill of Eldar, the massage therapist, enabled me to continue training strongly 5 days a week for my final fortnight in Sarajevo, despite an injured knee. Hvala puno!!

One of the greatest hotel located near the the old market (Bascarsija) There is car parking 🚗🚘 located behind the building downstairs and it cost 25 Bosnian mark per day The hotel was old but good Some places in the room are not well cleaned 🧹 For the room I prefer the deluxe room because the standard one is too small The restaurant of the hotel is nice for the breakfast they have different types of food 🥘 🍱 🍲 Also the room service is good and fast and there food was nice There employees was kind and helpful most of the time There is a small grocery beside the entrance of the hotel selling some Necessary items like juices 🥤 water, milk, sweets 🍫 and also they have sms for mobile with the best offers (the lady employee was very helpful and friendly) it help me to have the good offer for the internet data with good prices

Cozy, beautiful and friendly place! Suitable for those who travel for work and for tourist visits, because the hotel is in the very center of the city, where a good variety of infrastructure is within walking distance. Very nice cafe where you can have a coffee or an aperitif with local sweets and a restaurant. Amazing, friendly staff. For breakfast, you can try local and European cuisine. On my arrival, there was my favorite corn porridge for breakfast and I was very happy about it! Special thanks to all the staff for the atmosphere! I had the feeling that I was at home. Cozy, warm and tasty 💛💛💛

Perfect location. Very old rooms and quality arguable (especially the breakfast). No complaints until it was used to cost 70-85€ per night at 130€ is a rip off. You can find new and way better places same location at that price

The hotel is average 4 star, very authentic and cozy. PROS: - Location, we stayed here because its close to the old town and accessible to shops and downtown. - Car Parking is available with a charge. CONS: - Wifi is slow. - Daily events so somedays might be noisy for lower rooms.

Don't care what kind of accommodation thay have thay use scammers like karina smomlsaya to represent then karina is a hartless scammer she's only out to cheat men. Boycot all establishments who hire karina smomlsaya as a representative

Very nice hotel with excellent location in Sarajevo old city.

The location was good and the front desk staff was not bad. However, I ordered room service, but three people took over the phone, either because they did not understand English or did not understand me, and in the end the food did not arrive. Also, there was a graduation party going on at night, and the noise reached my room on the third floor and was loud until midnight. But overall, it wasn't bad, and not that unpleasant.

This review is not about the hotel accommodation. The location is good & very centered. It must be the landmark around the Old Town area for stopping and catching taxi rides. Went to this Viennese Café (outdoor patio part) of Hotel Europe during my wait to the airport. Order liuunch and the server was very attentive and kind enought to assist me to call a taxi for the airport. Ambience was nice on a nice sunny early afternoon. There were groups of local elegant senior ladies having some afternoon tea gathering. Food was above average and the presentation was good.

This hotel is in a great location but that’s the only good thing about it. The rooms are shabby and tired. The staff are all surly and downright miserable. The food at dinner and breakfast was mediocre at best. Worst thing is that the two nights we were there, there were private events in the main dining room and we could hear the music on the 6th floor. Won’t be coming back!

Not a 5 stars hotel for sure... in Europe standards I would say 3 stars. Out room was small, we couldn't use toilet seat normaly because of the sink. Furniture was not in size for small room and looked in bad condition. The food was average. Every morning they have been serving the meals from the last night as well. They didn't mention thet they are charging for the parking. Prices are realy high. Our room was on 7th floor and the elevator had 6 flats. So we had to search for stairs. Nobody told us how to get to 7th floor and that there is another elevator which is on te other side of the hotel. You have to go threw one conference room to get there. The thing is if the room is taken, they close the doors, of course. So you have to climb to 1th floor and than take another elevator. It doesn't make sence for 5 stars hotel. About the recommendation... I really don't know what to say... been in Sarajevo multiple times and had way more better expirience in the private appartments. The location of the hotel is 5 star for sure. In the middle of the old town Sarajevo called Baščaršija

The hotel is next to the Old Town and describes itself as 5 star. Restaurant staff surly. The rooms are old and tired. One sachet of instant coffee in room. Not replaced. Rooms on front noisy. Asked for room at back. Not explained by hotel that on second night of stay (Thursday) a private party with full blast disco was to take place on flat roof on first floor directly outside room. Only discovered when returned to room at 9.45pm. No-one on reception able to say when party would finish. No manager on duty. Disco concluded at 11.30pm. Thereafter equipment noisely cleared away until 1am. No manager appeared following morning despite request to see him/her to recieve explanation, in particular why no advance notification given to guests. Those having to work may wish to avoid this hotel

This is a wonderful hotel with an international atmosphere. You cannot find a better location. You just can’t. The staff is professional but also casual in a good way. The receptionist Sanela is super nice and very accommodating. You will not be disappointed. Note: The parking garage has plenty of space but it is not free.

Just look at the more recent reviews, I guess the hotel stopped caring: - rooms are old and not well equipped, rooms had only one set of towels, barely any products supplied for the shower - staff doesn’t care and doesn’t try. We booked a superior room but couldn’t sleep because of noise from a wedding. We were moved to a tiny room as they said no bigger room was available. After asking two other staff members we did get a bigger room. - breakfast was very mediocre, better to get some in the old town

An old lady in need of renovation. Superb location, the first modern hotel built in late 1800.

It's a old school 5* hotel, like it all. Fast check in, and check out. 24h reception with very helpful staff. Perfect location, 2 steps from Baščaršija. Car parking in a safe hotel garage. Breakfast with lots of choices for everyone. Very elegant"Becka kavana" in a hotel. Wellness and pool free after all day walking around it's a perfect thing. Our second time in this beautiful hotel but hope to come again!! Thanks for pleasant stay in Sarajevo.

If you take into account the money spent, breakfast was nothing special, parking expensive, lack of information. Nice beds and towels, great view, close to main street. Quite dark but cozy (light bulb outside our room was broken for 3 days), our room was very hot but you can open the windows. (Guess there was no ac or it's not working) Staff is not to chatty (that's ok with me) but I would like to get a little information. Parking wallet doesn't speak English. Not to much alcohol in minibar. My biggest issue was the breakfast. Felt like they used leftovers like rice and fish (this is not confirmed). Dry bread, sausage in water, lots of different eggs to choose from, pancakes with no jam, cream, ice cream, berries, honey, your only choice was syrup. When I go back to Bosnia this hotel will not be my first choice....

This is NOT a 5 star hotel - its a scam Good things: location. Bad things: lazy receptionists, the place is a labyrinth - to get to the pool you walk through the “5 star” restaurant. The reception is a middle age goat market, with all sorts of people and goods sold there. They even have an ad for a strip club on a monitor there. Breakfast is bad.

Love the outdoor cafe! Also has a great garage if you want to tour the Old Town and need a place to leave the car close by

An ageing hotel but strategic location. Right in the centre of old Sarajevo. Good services but old room decorations. I was here 5yrs ago, nothing changed...

We went there only for Bosnian coffee. It was a great break. It has a royal vibe and it travels you in different places back in time

Very nice hotel, but with a horrible service in the tarrace bar, very rude guy serving there. Do not recommend it.

  • 1/5 Damir D. 2 years ago on Google
Faulty faucet. Double charged parking which is btw very inconvenient for bigger suv vehicles. Low hygiene. Loud air conditioning. Says it delivers food to room till midnight, didn’t work at 10pm. There was a wedding till 1am. Door key works every 5th time. There were wires hanging from led lighting. Pictures online are deceiving, be careful, don’t be overcharged and underserved like I was. This is far away from 5 stars I don’t understand how they got this high rating.

Hotel is fine. Service could be improved. Conference rooms are without the day light. Renovation is needed for a 5 * hotel...

  • 2/5 Meliha S. 1 year ago on Google
Very loud noise from a wedding and no sound reducing windows = no sleep until 01.00. Same the next night, so we left. Was told afterwards that this hotel is the most popular in Sarajevo for events.. The room and breakfast was ok. Parking is available only if you are lucky and it is a very tight space to park in.

Nice hotel in a perfect location but being in the city center expect noise coming from the street. Some issues with the airco, we had to ask to change the room. Staff supportive and polite with the exception of a bellboy extremely rude.

  • 2/5 mlade d. 1 year ago on Google
Medium class hotel boasting itself as a 5 star. I was disturbed by the chamber maid @ 8:30 am before going to breakfast as she tried to enter and clean the room? Should she do this? Breakfast was not as expected from a hotel that prides itself as a better hotel in Sarajevo.

  • 1/5 Mejra B. 1 year ago on Google
*Beware of their Bellboys* We recently stayed at this place because of their location. After placing a "Do not disturb" sign at the door, one of their Bellboys knocked on our door (after hours) asking us for money mind you I was with my family late at night in a foreign country. We will never visit this hotel again. Very unprofessional and scary my wife was up all night scared for our safety.

Food is a disaster, service is bad, wifi horrible. You have limited access to the hotel spaces. Old furniture and not so clean. By far the worst hotel experience. This hotel shouldn't have 5 stars.

Great old charming hotel in great location but rooms too dark need better lights breakfast just fair

  • 4/5 Nick S. 2 years ago on Google
Really nice hotel in the heart of sarejvo.. easily walking distance to so much. My only complaint was having to share a room and the beds in our room were singles. Plenty of room for either full or queen beds.. but otherwise great place!!

  • 5/5 antonia w. 1 year ago on Google
Room without heating. They tried to fix it, but failed. On the other hand, staff was very kind and helpful, breakfast good (but without bacon or ham!), and the brightest part was Vienna Cafe and its staff and cakes.

  • 5/5 Emir K. 1 year ago on Google
😊Nice place, good service, helpfull staff. 😑 Abit confusing elevators and access to the garage. Size of TV and quality of offer of programmes and quality of picture is disappointing for 5star hotel.
