Nice and cozy hostel with dedicated personal. Good to know: dorms on the second floor are all sort of connected (no walls up to the roof), so can be a bit loud, but still really nice though

Outstanding Hostel! Super recommend. Clean, organized, great staff and at the heart of Sarajevo. I have the best time while staying there.

This hostel stands out for its fantastic atmosphere. The common room is comfortable and designed in a way that makes it easy to meet other travelers. Also the volunteers were very friendly when I stayed here recently. The manager Ivan is super helpful and knowledgable about the city. The beds are comfortable and the no shoes in the rooms policy is great. Also the location is perfect. I recommend you stay here when you come to Sarajevo.

Concierge was very helpful, but overall the place is crowded and the bunk beds are very uncomfortable. They are set so low that it is practically impossible not to hit your head each day getting up. The wifi is also absolutely terrible, connects and disconnects randomly, which is inconvenient if you are trying to plan a trip.

I had the pleasure of staying here for most of June, and absolutely loved it. The owners offer great tours for the area, and the location can't be beat(right in the middle of downtown). Facilities are clean, and I'll definitely be coming back soon.

One of my favourite hostels I've stayed at! Really nice atmosphere, staff really friendly and helpful (special shout out to Ivan) and location was right in the city centre. Beds were nice, bathrooms never felt croweded.. and the beer machine was a nice touch too haha

Very nice hostel, in the moddle of the old town, awesome atmosphere, lots of people to meet. Rooms are nice, with bog lockers, and Ivan who runs it is a very nice man. He let me park my bike inside so I was so greatful!

Highly recommended for stay in the most happening part of Sarajevo! Liked · The location was just amazing. You step out of the hostel into the most happening street in Sarajevo. The staff is friendly and helpful. Nothing to complain about, really.

It is a hostel where you can meet almost all your needs. I only stayed one night. It has a sufficient kitchen and common area, wifi and hot water. You are in the city center and close to everywhere. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The prices are very affordable. Suitable for payment by credit card. There are POS devices. Maybe a little more bed cleaning could have been better. Other than that, everything was great, I left satisfied. Thanks to all those who contributed, especially Dennis Brooo....

The location of the hostel is fantastic ans the workers are very helpful. The hostel can be quite loud even during quiet hours. But that is my only complaint. It was great for what we were looking for.

Woke up to bedbugs crawling all over the bed above me. I took a photo and calmly showed the front desk and was told they weren’t bed bugs, just another bug that looks exactly the same. I moved rooms and washed all my clothes which cost me money and was a pain but the hostel didn’t seem to care at all. The hostel itself is decent, a little dirty and smelly but would be worth staying at if they took better care of their guests.

One of the most friendly hostel I ever visited (and I've been visiting many)! Staff is great, the atmosphere warm and welcoming. I arrived early after a night bus and they let me check in at 8AM. I had problem connecting to the WiFi (no one else had) and the staff let me use their phone as a hotspot. Beds comfy but it could be a nice tough with some privacy curtains. But over all a great hostel at a perfect location!!

I really enjoyed my stay here. Firstly, Sarajevo is a great place to visit for a city break. Very interesting. The hostel is well equipped , with a good sized fridge, and hobs. They also serve beer cheaply. Beds are comfy, WiFi is excellent, security is excellent (take a padlock for the lockers, or buy one there, €3). The staff are helpful, and friendly. There are supermarkets 3 - 5 mins walk N and S, There is a bus stop 3 mins walk N, going W to the station (US Embassy stop, and bus destination Cengic Vila), and 6 mins walk coming E (destination Bascarsija). The bus route is a circle.

Simply the best hostel in Sarajevo (and I've stayed in quite a few). This was the best night's sleep I had on my trip and the staff are so unbelievably kind. The lady who runs it is so sweet and helpful. I honestly could not recommend this place enough. The location is absolutely ideal and the price is very reasonable.

Hostel Vagabond is my big crazy loving Bosnian family!!! I had amazing times there, love this hostel with all my heart and recommend to all backpackers, nomads of the modern times and all friendly and genuine travelers! You won't be disappointed :)

When you come to Vegabond they have signs everywhere that say "more than a hostel, here we're family." Then call me Cinderella because this place did live up to the hype. First our room was next to the bathrooms, where people were using and showering until all hours of the night, the last time I looked someone was using it at 4:30(ish) am, and the walls are paper thin. My husband is a very heavy sleeper and even he was having a hard time staying asleep because of the doors constantly opening and closing from other people coming in and out of the washrooms. Secondly, they said they would have someone available 24 hours a day at the front desk, and at two separate times when we were buzzing to get in we waited 10-15 minutes each time. The second time when we were coming back it was only 10:30 pm, someone who was staying at the hostel heard the buzzer going for so long he came down and let us in and said "it must be the guy who works here, he's the worst." We were leaving very early in the morning so we asked (when he finally came back to the front desk) if we could use the telephone early in the morning to order a cab he said it was no problem that he would be there and would be happy to help, we even gave him the time we would be ordering it to be sure that someone would be at the front desk. When we came in the morning no surprise no one was there... The only thing I would say is a plus about this place is that it is directly in the middle of town, but so are 1000 other hostels. Read reviews... save your money. Don't stay here.

Because I knew a place full of history staying in the center of the city. Comfortable and clean common areas and nice staff

This is a great place to stay and explore Sarajevo. It is five minutes from Bascarsija and on the main pedestrian street, close to all bars and sightseeing spots. Lovely people and great atmosphere. They organized dinner and pancake night. Maja's pie is delicious.

Amazing location, great staff willing to help you at any time! They also offer great tours and often make family dinner, perfect opportunity to meet other travelers!
