The room we got was completely different from the one we got on booking. Mold everywhere and really really dirty on the floor.

OMG. I only regret not sleeping in the park. This place is disgusting and disaster. Rooms smell of urine, no water to shower, beds children size, mattress honestly you can find better in the rubbish, towels size and quality 😱😱😱😱 not even good to wipe your floors. Please do not fall for they advertise and photos. Unfortunately Sarajevo was so busy due to Film Festivals so we didn’t have any other options it was unplanned trip. Only good thing was that reception staff young boy was nice and polite. Hand up poor thing I feel sorry for him. Please stay away from this please 😱😱😱😱😱

First of all, we had a reservation in hotel Hayat, but as we arrived, they said they had flood in some of the rooms (we are not sure if they told the truth or they were over booked because of Sarajevo film festival)and they transfered us to hotel Hayat Hills which was pretty far from the place we wanted to be, and we even paid the same price (we were told that we are going to get a bigger room but that was not the case) Room 401 in Hayat Hills is the worst thing that can happen to someone. When you first enter the room you'll be shocked. You can smell moisture in the air and the view from the windows is, believe it or not, A WALL, with a distance of 30cm from the window. When you enter the bathroom you will have another shock, it STINKS because there is NO VENTILATION. I don't know how the hotel even got a licence with these conditions in this room. It stinks, the bed is not good and it is not clean. All in all, a terrible experience and I would NOT recommend it to anyone.

Worst place to stay. We booked a room using Booking and we did not get what we paid for. The room has dirty walls, the towels we get are a joke, there is no terrace or view as listed on Booking, we are just looking at a wall. And the location is very difficult to come to as it is up on the mountain, I do not feel I am in Sarajevo anymore. Do yourself a favour and do not stay here.

This is listed as 4 star hotel it does not even deserve 1 star .When we on visited this hotel on 15th August 2019 room was dirty, there were no towels or toiletries supplied despite being be advertised.Toilet/ shower area very pokey, shower head could not be hung up and bed slats kept falling out .Double bed was in fact 2 single beds pushed together with a duvet down middle to compensate space between 2 mattresses. We were meant to stay for 2 nights but we were so disappointed with this hotel we cancelled 2nd nights stay as did our friends.I was very embarrassed as I had chosen this hotel given reputation of Hayat hotels..

Worst place ever.. No air conditioning, dirty room, no spare keys, on the hill near no where and far from everywhere. Bad wifi, disconnects regularly every few seconds. Receptionist was friendly though. I dont even want to give this hotel a star. The owner of the place is money greedy and despicable.

1.9 km from center, but do not panic, taxi is 5 KM(3.7 dollars)to city and back)bus is 1.7 KM.So ,for 3 and more is as bus price.Konzum market next door.New hotel.Walking 15 minutes takes you straight into Old Town.Friendly stuff!

Although the facilities were mostly clean, the hotel is nearly empty, nearly deserted. The room I booked looked far better on photos in terms of size and coziness, as two separate matresses were put on a double bed instead of one. Also, the location adds up to my disappointment, Hayat is located 3km from the old town, but it's uphill, which makes it hard to reach, since it can take up to 50min walk from Sebilj.

Nice and affordable hotel on the hillside in Sarajevo. If you have a car it is easy to get to the centre from here. Recommend.

Staff is nice and polite, but that's all what is good about this hotel. Regarding other things it is the worst hotel I've ever been in. It was built in the cheapest possible way and it's very dirty. It has CRT TV from 90s, very poor WiFi signal, mirror in the bathroom has roughly the size of A3 paper, no soap, no shampoo or other supplies. The room looks like it was not cleaned for years. Stains and dust everywhere. We cancelled our second night and will never come again.
