Dropped by for lunch. Yogurt dip was good. Chicken curry was alright. It wasn't spicy at all. Very creamy, and the portion was huge. Salad that came with the chicken was good as well.

We stayed in Hotel Astra for a week and we loved it. The location is amazing, the rooms were spacious, the breakfast was lovely and the staff was extremely warm, friendly and helpful.

Extremely salty chicken curry. We had a chicken curry in their restaurant. First of all, it was not usually served with rice, but when we asked for it, they added the rice, so that was okay. But the curry was so extremely salty! It was really hard to eat. 3 of us ordered the curry and none of us finished it. It has possibly ruined curry for me for at least a while, which is too bad, because I really like curry. The service was nice

I had a fantastic dining experience at this hotel restaurant! The ambiance was delightful, the staff was friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying their İskender (Turkish doner) and Hamburger ( both best in town) – it was a true culinary delight. Will definitely be coming back!

Great location near down town. There are a lot of bats around, but the place is not noise. It's very quite in the rooms. Staff is friendly a d helpful. Breakfast is simple , but tasty ans enough to start a day. Definitely recommend 👍

Nice cozy hotel. The food for breakfast and in the restaurant is excellent, for relatively little money you can eat like a king. The service is extremely helpful. I am here for a few weeks and there is nothing that is missing. There are only two minor negatives, and one is the very difficult parking. The second neutral point is that there is a famous bar across the street and there is noise every day well into the night. But for nightlife fans, it can be great. However, the choice of Hotel Astra is certainly not a mistake.

We really liked the hotel, personnel was so kind! We could even choose our room out of several options. Moreover the location is great (near old-town); but a lot of bars are in direct neighborhood. But this didn’t bothered us at all. Breakfast was ok. We will come again :)

Worst hotel ever. Rooms are rancid with cigarette smoke and dirty. Bathrooms are nasty. And when we asked for a twin bedroom, we got a single bed with a sofa.

A very pleasant stay.

It is one of the best hotels in the heart of Sarajevo, OldTown - Baščaršija. Rooms are clean, services are on top level. Kind and warm staff. Location could not be better than this, you are in the middle of everything that you need to get, see or visit. Astra restaurant, perfect breakfast and special dishes that you can bearly see at other restaurants in the town.

A small and cozy hotel in the centre of the city

The location of the hotel is practically in Baščarčija and you are 300 meters away from the place of the murder of the Austro Hungarian Crown Prince Franc Ferdinand. Parking is at the neighboring hotel, otherwise a little tight but you are happy that you could come to the city center by car. The hotel may have been a bit exhausted, but we had a room at the top floor and it was really beautiful (attic with hight ceilings). Spacious and beautiful. The bathroom is also spacious, functional and beautiful. Breakfast is OK. Real plus is that you can order eggs by your likings. You could have made improvements with breakfast, but it probably would have exceeded the category of the hotel. The staff is very friendly and gives the impression that they care for their guests. A bit of annoying is noise in the evening as the hotel is located in a part surrounded by bars.

Hotel Astra is located in the center of Sarajevo near the old part Baščaršije which is known for its architecture from the Ottoman Empire. Guests staying at Astra have access to fitness and indoor pool. Capacity of the rooms is 17 rooms and one luxury apartment. Bus and train station are within 3 km. Various restaurants and bars, and a supermarket can be found just 20 meters from the hotel Astra. In the hall, in a beautifully designed coffee shop on 2 floors you can relax and have a refreshing drink.

This hotel is ona a great, central, location. But rooms could be improved definitely.
