Awesome experience. Our room had an absolute thrilling view of the river and green mountains which was sooooo relaxing at any time during the day and night. The owners are two siblings (cant recall the names) and the couple of times i interacted with them they were on top of things! From one of the serving me a beer from the bar (due to COVD they had reduced the number of employees) to the other one preparing a local coffee to accompany my breakfast, as a matter of courtesy (for free). My last day there was even better. My mom, my kids and I order the same breakfast we did the first day, and they almost double the amount of fruits they serve with that menu. Simply fantastic and totally recomendable! Would, definitely, stay there again if ever back in Sarajevo :)

I like it! Just on the edge of old town with real charm and a cozy feeling. The best part is that you get a little balcony hanging over the river and looking on green hills. My dog is delighted by the ducks in the water. The staff were beyond friendly, and breakfast was generous. I can also highly recommend the roast veal if they have it prepared. Delicious.

We stayed at Pension River for 3 nights in a small double room that had cozy balcony overlooking the river, with magnificent views of the nature. The staff was extremely friendly, and the location is superb, it is near old town center, only 5 minutes’ walk to old town center, but still far from noisy and crowded central street. The breakfast was very well prepared, there are few choices to pick up, and friendly waiter serves you. The price was decent enough, and overall, we truly enjoyed at this guest house. Don't expect 5-star hotel and luxury service, because still this is family run bad and breakfast. We would come again next year, and greetings to all of the staff members, especially to Ermin and Anida, young and friendly owners!

This place is decent, could be much nicer. Seems like once upon a time it was nice but now its deteriorating and poor maintenance. It is close to Baščaršija. Parking can be a challenge, many buses park across the street. Restaurant food is really good.

Overall good value for the price we paid. The location allowed us to easily go back and forth from the old town. The room was a bit small and humid, and unfortunately, given the vicinity of the river, tap water can get a bit smelly and isn’t safe to drink. At the same time, we enjoyed being in a quiet place by the river.

Excellent place to stay and eat! Rooms are clean, warm and cozy with an amazing view! Staff is very friendly and english speaking. Food is great, fresh and home made. They even have a beautiful friendly cat!

I hope this review is not deleted by the hotel. They usually hide the bad reviews or they answer with lies. I stayed here for two nights and the experience was terrible. The hotel has a bad smell in the toilets and the breakfast is really bad quality. The price is high for the bad service. The staff will probably say this is not true, because that’s what they do. Before you stay here, have some time to read all the bad reviews they have on other platforms and you will see that they always hide the bad comments and only show they good ones. They also answer lying to confuse the customers.

The location is the best.... rooms also good.

Same breakfast everyday, no cleaning of rooms or change of towels, no soaps or shampoos.. Service and quality needs real upgrade

Reasonably priced and you get what you pay for. The restaurant staff were extremely friendly and the hotel is at present going through a major renovation during the off winter season of 2022.

We booked a room here this summer and had a terrible experience. We immediately noticed that the room was very dirty and asked them to clean the bathroom. After some convincing they did clean it and even the cleaning lady agreed that the room could not have been cleaned for a while. We went out for a walk and when we came back there were a lot of bugs in the room and the air condition was not working. I checked the booking app and saw that it was not too late to cancel and leave. We told the staff that we were leaving and why, and they said that they were sorry to hear that but told us it was okay for us to leave. When we arrived at the new hotel the owner of this hotel started sending us emails saying that we needed to come back and pay. We explained that we had already talked to other staff members and that the cancellation had gone through in the booking app. The owner started replying in caps lock letters and literally threatening to come find us and make us pay. We had to ask the staff in the new hotel if we should call the police, and make sure that they were not going to tell him which room we were in if he came to find us. We talked to booking who assured us that we had followed their guidelines for cancellation and that the hotel owner had been informed that we did not owe them anything. I know for sure that if the hotel replies to this review it will be unprofessional and aggressive, just like the replies to other complaints here and just like the replies we got to our emails. I would recommend everyone to avoid this hotel, and especially avoid having a disagreement with the owner. You will get a taste of what kind of person runs this hotel if you just read through the replies to the other bad reviews. Really embarrassing.

Very cute place on the river, traditional and cozy. Friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant is a bit meh with a somehow weird choice of breakfast, but it doesn't really matter because there are many nice places to eat in Sarajevo.

Very close to Old Town. The staff was welcoming, however the rooms were a little too small. They had an iron available for guests, which seems a rare commodity in European hotels. The breakfast can be improved. However, we got a little farewell gift... Very nice detail from them :)

Perfect location to the old city of Sarajevo. The pansion sits beautiful at the river. Sadly the place is a little run down. There was a strange odor in our room and the breakfast and lunch were a little dissapointing. The staff was very friendly but the place really needs some good cleaning. We had some disgusting stains in our bed.

The place is a bit unusual, but in a good way. It is situated just a 5 minute walk from the old city so it is perfect for someone who would like to be close to the old city. The one thing that I would pick to be even better than the location and style of the property is the service. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive and for this we would come again in a heartbeat.

I wanted to leave since the first day. You can stay for hours alone without even receptionist, the pictures have nothing to do with reality. Don't waste yiu holiday in this hotel and they lie. Ok, I will answer you on editing since replying is not an option. 1.I only saw you once on the reception since I arrived and that for the receipt. 2. When I ask about you, you relative say that you will come in a while and you don't come, when I said that I will leave, you came out of nowhere. 3. You remember when I asked to discuss my accommodation, you said that you wll discuss it with me and nothing happened till this day. 4. No water to drink neither cold or hot, nothing. 5. This is a 3 stars hotel and you said to me you rent only room, that's why only once my room was cleaned since my arrival. 6. I asked to change the room and I am still in this cage. 7. Internet is so bad. 8. No lobby. 9. It was free breakfast on your website but still I pay for it. 10. I am leaving after tomorrow and I will not even ask for the rest of the money because I know by your treatment, I will get nothing.

The hotel had a great location but the hygene was not okay, the bathroom showed dirt and hairs of the previous guests, spider webs and spiders in the room. Disappointing breakfast.
