It’s worth the money if you need to cool off in the air conditioning for a few minutes. It’s a single room. The entry fee staff sit and chain smoke which makes the whole experience rather foul smelling if you’re a non smoker.

This is a single small room museum primarily dealing with the assassination of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand which occurred on the street outside. It's not my top museum in the old town, but worth a brief visit, 30 mins, if interested to learn more about the lead up to the assassination. A short video recreates the drama and there are exhibits which show the conspirators, the route taken by the Archduke and position of the assassins and the same gun (but not the actual gun) used to shoot the Archduke and his wife. Sadly, his wife who also died in the shooting was pregnant at the time.

In front of the museum, the spot where the Austro-Hungarian heir to the throne Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sofia were murdered is marked: footprints and the markings of his car. For the point, just ask one of the sellers or waiters in Baščaršija, at least we didn't see any signposts.

It's a nice and very small museum, one floor, for 4 KM, around 2 Euros. You need 15 to 30min max I'd say. It's next to the Latin bridge so you can visit the museum as well.

(Translated by Google) Small museum on the scene of the assassination. The one-room exhibition presents the history of Sarajevo from the time of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. There is a dedicated section dedicated to the assassination, so anyone who is interested in history should definitely take a moment. Entrance fee is 4 KM (approx. 2 Euro) (Original) Kicsi múzeum a merénylet helyszínén. A belépő egységesen 4 KM (kb. 2 Euro)

A small 1 room museum right at the spot of Franz Ferdinand's assassination. It's 4 marka to get in. It's mainly displays of items. I would have like a little more information on the assassination but still decent enough.

A small Museum to see the emperors history of this territories back in Austro-Hungarian Throne rule and the assasination of Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sofia. It is very central in Başçarşıya part of the city and so close to the Latin Bridge. Note that Museum is closed on Sunday and open only until 15.00 on Saturday.

A very small museum detailing the assassination of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie, which literally took place on the street outside the museum in 1914. Interesting to visit these type of historical locations and I always try to get my head round the significance of the exact location or event even if it was 10 or a 100 or a 1000 years ago.

The name is a little misleading - the museum is an interesting one, but it is really small (only one room and a 5-min video about the murder of Franz-Ferdinand) and it is dedicated almost exclusively to the murder of the Archduke, not the history of Sarajevo in general. Still, I recommend it.

Very much not worth it. The museum is exactly one room and doesn't tell you too much about the history of the city. Don't recommend going here.

Museum about the Austro-Hungarian reign of Sarajevo. A single room with some photographs and a couple of objects, not really worth it in my opinion. Some history and architecture books are on sale, if you're interested in the history of the region.

You'll discover quite a lot of stuff 😸 like .... Go visit and come tell me your story first

Stands on the site where the assassination of Franz Ferdinand took place, right next to the Latin Bridge. It is a very small museum, essentially a single room. However, it is cheap - and the things inside are actually somewhat interesting (depicting Bosnia's relationship and history with the Austro-Hungarian empire.)

Small museum at the spot where the 1st World War began, which makes it interesting but not a must do unless you love history. Items such as the assassins gun are on shoe, alongside a lot of photographs from the assassination day, as well as period costumes.

Super tiny museum. Single hall to showcase the historical incident. Most educational part might be a 3-min video clip showing the assassination. Other than that, you can get everything you'd like to know at National Library. NOT WORTH 4 KM. Taking some photos with the car on the street for free is recommended though.

(Translated by Google) In this place on June 28, 1914, the heir to the throne of the Austro-Hungarian empire was assassinated: Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria and his wife, Duchess Sofia Chotek. This fact is considered the trigger that started the first world war. What you see today is just a representation of what happened, but it can be said that this place is facing a very important piece of history of the 20th century (Original) En este lugar el 28 de junio de 1914 fue asesinado el heredero al trono del imperio Austrohúngaro: el archiduque Francisco Fernando de Austria y su esposa, la duquesa Sofía Chotek. (Translated by Google) Sarajevo Museum carries the memory of the city from past to present. Both the first and second world war world war reflects well prepared slides in both the 92-96 siege. These slides show how good is the city's continued living in difficult times how he survived. The fact that the museum is located next to the Latin bridge where the ferdinant assassination of the first world war took place has added a special importance. Muze also has the memory of this assassination incident. He was very successful in reviving that period. (Original) Sarajevo Museum kentin geçmişten bugüne belleğini taşıyor. Hem birinci dünya savaşı hem ikinci dünya savaşı hemde 92-96 kuşatmasını iyi yansıtan slaytlar hazırlanmış. Bu slaytlar kentin zor zamanlarda nasıl ayakta kaldığını yaşamın nasıl devam ettiğini iyi gösteriyor. Muzenin birinci dünya savaşına neden olan ferdinant suikastının yaşandığı Latin köprüsünün yanında olması ayrı bir önem katmış. Muze bu suikast olayının da belleğini taşıyor. O dönemi canlandırması gayet başarılı.
