I can highly recommend tour with guide Denis. It was incredible 2h walk. Filled with stories delivered in funny and light way. Sarajevo is associated with very sad period of war in 90’s but its story didn’t start in 90’. The city has amazing heritage and Denis is the best person to tell you about it. We booked the Grand Walking Tour for 3 hours. It was great !! Adi was a really great guide who shared a lot of love with us about the history of Sarajevo. We booked the Assassination tour and we were lucky to be the only ones which meant we had our tour guide just for us. He was excellent, answered all our questions with patience, made us finally understand the complex history around the killing of Franz Ferdinand and added some fun facts here and there. I was looking forward to this tour because I'm interested in history, and it was best choice. My guide, Nermin has a lot of knowledge and experience, so I was able to answer a lot of my questions through him. And he was very kind. If you want to know the history of Sarajevo, definitely choose this tour. How the Bosnian people acted bravely and made great efforts in a difficult situation of siege. I was able to learn a lot about Bosnia through this tour. I recommend it.

I had the pleasure to have a one on one tour with my guide Dorris. She was incredibly knowledgeable in all areas and has a very confident persona. You could tell she had a lot of passion for the history of her home country and it she conveyed that very well through her stories. She does tours in English, Spanish, French and Bosnian. Have been part of a small group today on the tunnel tour. This was incredible - so much information from our guide (Navim I think) who was amazing having lived and worked during the siege of Sarajevo. I understood a little before the tour but now know and understand so much more. The tour was about 3 hours in all and our guide made the time so interesting with his knowledge, openness and experience. Not only did we learn about the tunnel but also about the buildings, politics and history en route. I would really recommend this tour and company. It’s so important we remember. We were on a 6 hour transit and decided to do a Sarajevo city tour just 2 days before we took off. "Insider city tours and excursions" were very responsive on email and provided all the information promptly. They also arranged airport pick up and drop off. We had a fantastic city tour with Rijad, who is very knowledgeable and experienced. He took us to the most important historical sites in the city center and local food tasting spots to try out cevapcici, burek, Bosnian coffee and baklava. It was a great tour and I would highly recommend Rijad and "Insider City Tours" to anyone wanting to visit Sarajevo.

The tour guide was very young (not that age matters but it gives context) and gave only the most basic informations about the city, failing to explain more in depth the history of Sarajevo and Bosnia. He was very nice and polite but it felt like he was reciting bunch of historic facts from wikipedia, which is a pitty since the history of Sarajevo is very complex.

I enjoyed the city tour very much thanks to our guide, Jenny. She was very friendly, knowledgable and professional. Jenny patiently explained every detail about each stop. The pace was just right to accommodate a big group like ours unlike some tours where we had to rush, this feels very relaxed and enjoyable. Besides, being a very considerate tour guide, Jenny made sure we have ample time to do the "tourist thing" :-) ... taking pictures, shopping for souvenirs, enjoying some local snacks and all. I had such an enjoyable tour around the old city with our tour guide Rijad. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and had the best tips for local food. The agency also has great location. If you are visiting Sarajevo I recommend taking one of the Insider tours!

I really recommend the” Uncovering Islam Tour “ it is so informative and gives a good perspective of local Islamic traditions in Bosnia . The tour includes a visit to Gazi Husrev Bey’s Mosque, a visit to the traditional shopping areas, the Han too was fascinating as was the Sebilj fountain. We also did a free walking tour which was very enlightening. The architecture is amazing and it was so interesting to see where East meets West The guides are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and fun and they answered all our questions in a timely way. I particularly remember Jenny as being an excellent and helpful guide. I would love to revisit Sarajevo and do some more tours.
