Very nice place to visit near the famous Sebilj. You get a felling like you are sitting in nature because all the plants. Sevdalinka (Sevdah music) is a traditional genre of folk music from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sevdalinka is an integral part of the Bosniak culture, but is also spread across the ex-Yugoslavia region, including Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia. The actual composers of many Sevdalinka songs are largely unknown because these are traditional songs.

Charming and unexpected cafe and museum dedicated to the Bosnian Sevdah musical tradition. An unassuming exterior leads into what was an old musafir khana (travel lodge), offering a cool respite from a hot day, for Bosnian coffee and herbal teas. Judging from what other punters ordered the most popular snacks were the apple desserts (our kunafa was unimpressive) but the whole experience was rewarding.

About the museum (restaurant seems like it has a nice, smoky, atmosphere): Probably good if you know something about Sevdah and are interested in paraphernalia from famous artists. Otherwise be prepared for the most perturbed guide constantly asking you if you're bored hoping that you'll leave because there's nothing to see. Obviously they should also play some Sevdah in the museum over the speakers but instead we got the same looping 5 min video about how they restored the place.

Make sure you take the audio guide. It's essential for this exibition. Entrance and audio guide is 16 Mark. You can see photos from a local Bosnian photographer but the photos are not so impressive compared to the Infos shared. There are two video screens. Each take around 40 min to watch several documentaries and short movies. Recomand to visit if you interested in the history of the genocide of Bosnia.

Heartbreaking, intense yet beautiful. The gallery is small but it showcases a good mix of art and information about the genocide in Srebrenica, allowing the visitors to learn about the history in different angles. Even though the gallery is small, you can easily spend a day there depending how much you want to take in. My ticket was valid for two days, and I would have went back the next day if I didn’t have a flight to catch because there is just so much to digest. Highly recommend to get the audio guide since it explains a lot about the photos displayed in the gallery. The computer contains a lot of a information and small details of the whole event, while the short film is just impressive - you can really see how emotionally this genocide affects the people. I would suggest everyone to pay a visit.

They have traditional sweets like tufahija (you should try this whilst in Bosnia somewhere), hurmasica, baklava.. some home made juices and of course bosnian coffee. The set up and museum is about traditional Bosnian music called sevdalinka. Something similar to Portuguese Fado. Great place for visitors

Brilliant place for traditional Bosnian coffee/tea/natural juices. The cafe is surrounded by art and beautiful flowers. The waiters wears traditional clothes, which is a plus to the atmosphere and also they have excellent service. Coffee and baklava was delicious. The museum is also interesting if you are into old Bosnian artists, but either way it's worth entering to see the old furniture and other stuff. This place is definitely one of my favorite places in Sarajevo.

Great peaceful place, traditional and in the heart ❤️ of Sarajevo - Baščaršija. Also there is sevdah museum but you can just come here to enjoy peace :) Here you will find bosnian traditional coffee, home made juices (mint, roses 🌹, elderflower juice..), home made traditional cakes (baklava, tufahija, kadaif..). There are also paintings by a famous Bosnian painter who can be purchased. Recommend this place, one of the places must to see and visit when you come to Sarajevo ❤️

Was really helpful to understand the history. The audio guide was really helpful - strongly recommended to use it. It’s small therefore you can thoroughly enjoy the space. The video clip - “10min” vividly pictures what happened during the Sarajevo siege poignantly. The staff was aloof and not nice - I felt upset after a great time at the gallery though.

One room exhibition with several photos. As the name suggests, it focus on the after match rather than the war itself. The entrance fee the the highest of all the museums I went(12 marks), and +4 marks for the audio guide (which is totally worth it). Sadly, it fells that it is too small. The quality of the photos and audio guide are great, I wish there were more. By the end of the room there are 2 movies with more than 1 hour duration, also worth your time.

This is an in-depth view of the Srebrenica massacre. It's a collection of pictures and videos that really taught me what happened and why. Just a note near the start there are 3 computers which gives a daily blow by blow account of the 2 weeks covering everything. If you are a completest like myself it takes well over 3 hours to get through it all. It is in-depth so brace yourself.

Although it is not a large building, it took more than an hour to look carefully. You should have an audio guide to better understand the photos. The short movie you can see in the gallery is very high quality.

Although i had read about the events that happened in Bosnia, I was not prepared for the exhibit. All the pictures and videos in the gallery, brought to life the pain and anguish the Bosnian people went through. My heart was overwhelmed with sadness, and I pray it will never happen again. Everyone should see it.

Indoor outdoor with some nice coffee and friends! Make sure to try the baklava! And if you don't drink coffee there is salep.

Delicious coffee and salep.👍 I like the courtyard, which shields you from the hustle and bustle outside and offers an oasis for good conversation. The staff is friendly and everything is well priced. There are a few pictures that you can buy and the interior is beautifully landscaped. But actually you are really here because of the coffee.🤤 and free WiFi (probably)😉

Good place to drink coffee. Coffee is 2.5km and cheaper than places around Sebij. However, ceiling is maden from glass therefore it is closed, so it is overwhelming due to smoke. I assume tgey play sevdalinka music and listening local music is good. I think they also organize events but we have not joined.

Interesting museum and pleasant place for coffee, however, the waiter charged twice the price for the order (compared to the prices in the menu), despite our surprise, so it's worth to be careful

My favorite place for a cup of Bosnian coffee. Drinks and sweets in a beautiful peaceful environment surrounded by art. Sometimes live music in the evening - current poster says Fridays at 8pm
