I first went to Ma’ab Spa last fall when I was in Sarajevo and was desperate for a manicure. Instead of simply going through the motions, the technician took a long look at my nails and advised me that instead of putting on shellac, it would be MUCH much better if I were to have my nails cleaned, disinfected and cared for at home. This left a huge impression on me…the fact that this spa would take an active role in determining what was best for me and not for their bottom line. When I returned to Sarajevo this June, I immediately contacted Ma’ab Spa to make an appointment for a facial. The “facial menu” is quite long and since I don’t have a lot of experience with them, I asked the owner, Alma, what would be the best for me. She asked her colleague who would be doing the facial, what she recommended. I was impressed that they took the time to actually talk to me, look me over and decide just like before, what was best for me!!! I come from the United States and in the states, it’s all about the MONEY, not the person! But luckily Ma’ab doesn’t go by the cookie cutter one size fits all American approach……instead taking a wholistic approach to everything….. My facial was divine and when there was a glitch and the technician was unable to finish the job, they compensated me and invited me to return later in the week to complete what they had started. Since I still had another several days left in Sarajevo, I decided to “pamper” myself and book a full body wrap detox massage. The experience was amazing and divine! The girl who did it was so kind, so sweet and had precise attention to detail. The interior of the spa is amazing, and has such healing wonderful energy. I love the tasteful artwork, along with the nice furniture….Everyone who works there is amazing!! The owner, Alma, is the kindest, most hospitable person I’ve met! She is super smart, attentive, professional and thanks to her decades of living and studying in Canada, has a real grasp of business knowledge….I cannot recommend Ma’ab Spa Center enough! You will find no shortage of treatments for everything and anything that suits your needs!! Hvala puno Alma i sve!! Thanks so much ladies! I’ll be back again, and again and again……

I got their vitamin C treatment and it was amazing. The facial itself was calming and really felt great on my skin and the results were wonderful. I would definitely recommend it. I don't speak a ton of Bosnian and everyone there was so nice and professional (and spoke enough English that we could easily communicate). I will certainly go back when I am in Sarajevo again. I expected better. We paid for the VIP spa service. It's great that you have a space all to yourself, but somehow the space is quite tight. In the description of the service, it says 60 square meters, but that is not the case. The space has no ventilation, it is very warm and stifling. It needs a bit of freshener, a scent to give the impression that you have come to a spa center. The sauna is very small, my husband and I are tall and we could not lie down in the sauna. A bench in the changing area would also be a great addition. All in all, it's ok for people who haven't had the chance to see and try better.

A place to relax, as soon as you enter this space, you feel the relaxing atmosphere. I have no experience with massages, but I can say that the massage and pedicure I received were first-class experiences.

I had a wonderful experience in Maab Spa Center. Girls are very nice and welcoming, service is absolutely professional and the atmosphere is just amazing. The space, music and lighting are such that for an hour or so you forget about everything and just enjoy. This is definitely the place I will never miss to visit whenever I am in Sarajevo.

Unbelievable service - I went with my boyfriend we had three couples treatments. The massages were amazing and really calming and lovely place to go. Everyone was so friendly and I will definitely be coming back. Thank you for making it special.

Ive tried going to this place a few times and the service is like lottery. You never know what youre gonna get. Then you have to go again to a different place to fix what they have done. They haven’t upgraded to electric file, and its impossible to do a nice pedicure/manicure without one. So they just leave you with unfinished service, that you still have to pay for. Only giving 2 stars instead of 1 because of only one lady that does the services properly.

They went above beyond to make my mom feel comfortable. Also a special thank you to Ela . She was my contact person to email from miles away. Thank you guys!! I would give this place 10 stars if i could!!

I am total disepointed! Staff is friendly but nothing more. I did my manicure, what actually is a disaster ( see the photo). I had also waxing, the worst experience I ever had. The master was in hurry and she treated my skin agresiv and didn't care about my feelings, but it was very painful. Now I have broken skin and even the hair wasn't totally removed. The pain was for nothing. I did also the pedicure, the medical pedicure, because I have incarnated nail and it was important to me to cut correctly the nail. I told all the information to my master and she assured me that she knows what to do. After she done the pedicure I told her that I feel the pain, but she assured me again that it's totally normal and it will be fine. But it is not, now the finger is inflameted and I always feel the pain. The only one who really did her job professionally was the cosmetologist.

Great place to have a spa experience and fully relax. The massage was amazing and the service was super professional and friendly with good English.

Really great place, highly recommended. Facilities are very clean and staff is very polite and accomodating. I use the sauna very often - it is really great because temperature is fully and precisely controllable - can go from 60C to over 100C for those like me who like it a bit higher. Plenty of towels, bathrobes, refreshments, scented oils, relaxed and dimmable lighting and candles so you can decompress properly.

As someone who’s never had a brazilian wax before, I spontaneously decided to give this place a shot. What can I say? I’m absolutely impressed! The lady who did the waxing was so kind and made me feel really comfortable. Looking forward to becoming a regular here!

Always a great and thoughtful experience at the Maab Spa. Would recommend for any type of service preferred. Spa space is beautifully designed, massages are very good and professionally done. It is easy to relax since the whole space has a very zen vibe. Workers are always very friendly and helpful, but respectful of personal space, wants and needs.

Poorly done pedicure, didnt clean cuticles and nail polish was applied in a really poor manner by painting a random square on my natural nail. Had to pay full price for the service
