It was built by the Austro-Hungarian authorities in 1882, reconstructed in an authentic look (Alpine and romantic style) and finally reopened in an early 2022. Renovated building presents the museum exhibition “Walter Defends Sarajevo”. It's due to the fact that back in 1972, scenes from that cult movie, which became one of the most popular in the former Yugoslavia, were filmed right at the Bistrik Railway Station. In addition to museum, there will be will be a restaurant and a cafe.

Old Train Station. Yes, part of beautiful history of my town. Built in age of Austrian-Hungary Empire and now ruined but still with breath of past time. Extraordinary
