Extremely rude waiter. We sat on the table and the waiter that is responsible for our table completely refused to approach and get an order from us. The area is not crowned and he is just chatting with guests from other table. The way he treats the customers is extremely unacceptable. We were waiting for more than 30 minutes and left.

Catastrophic service! Limon served in “hygiene” manner. Toilets dirty and without soap. Ignored by the waiter. Last year was good place to have a cake but now is good to avoid!

Went on Saturday at 11:00pm, they close at 11:30 that’s what it said on the door, the rude waitress didn’t even want speak to us she just said we finished, and left no sorry no smile nothing. We came half an hour before their closing time we just wanted to drink a quick coffee but she didn’t even explain why, she almost kicked us out. Very rude young woman.

Waited 30 minutes to be served. I visit frequently and on this occasion I was wearing a headscarf and modest clothing on account of going to the mosque nearby. I am usually quickly served, and I was inside and had been seen by staff and tried to get their attention as they cleaned other tables and served other customers. This is the only time I have ever been blatantly ignored by staff. Got up and left as soon as it had hit half an hour. Very disappointing considering how multicultural Sarajevo is.

Beautiful spot for breakfast and a delightful breakfast menu. Highly recommend the big breakfast and Oatmeal bowl. Large selection of cakes it was difficult to decide. Would have been good to hear Bosnian music rather than English in the restaurant to feel more of the culture in this beautiful city.

DON'T GO THERE! Service is slow, waiters are rude and everything is overpriced. Food is pretty good but not worth the hassle.

If you are considering going here - DON'T! Firstly, the service is poor and slow. Very unprofessional and unpleasant. Secondly, we've waited 40 minutes just to place an order. After 50min we got our drinks but not the food, and after 1h 10min we left hungry and disappointed. If you want good service and tasty food try restaurant Klopa next door.

Some waiters are extremely rude. They only communicate by frowning and sulking. And dont ever try to ask for a menu they may kill you. Never ever again. Terrible service

But If you don’t have much money on you, you couldn’t get full, because the prices are extremely expensive. But if you have enough money on you this restaurant would be great for you. Also If you're a seafood lover, you won't want to miss the grilled sea bass, which is cooked with a delicate touch and served with a side of creamy risotto. Overall, The Metropolis is a fantastic restaurant that should be at the top of any food lover's list. With its impeccable service, exceptional food, and elegant atmosphere, it's no wonder that this restaurant has become a favorite among locals and tourists alike. But also at some poitnt is overrated with the prices they put on for the normal people, with normal wage for people I think the prices are to high. The restaurant is really outstanding out of other restaurants but I think it could lower their prices and then it would be on my top list of the restaurants in Sarajevo.

Great food and drinks, and the staff is usually very friendly. But sometimes they are not nice at all, it depends on the person who is waiting your table. Hence the 4 stars

Hate that there is almost no table is available whenever I go there. Very noisy but interior is amazing. I already love Metropolis so food makes me wanna go over and over again 😏

We ate pizza which are approx. 12-15km and delicious. Place is at heart of city center and designed beautiful. Pizzas were delicious. Smoking inside is as always allowed :(

coffee is slay. the chicken sandwich is also slay. atmosphere is cozy but a little off. could with some better interior design. a little tacky but slayed nontheless. a little bit expensive but not too much. all in all a 4/5

Location is amazing with wcatedral view. Coffee is the best in sarajevo.

Lovely place to get coffee and a nice dessert. Lots of coffee options including decaf and around 3-4KM for the coffees.

Sorry but I cant BE generous here Food expensive and The servings miniature (fries I got 6 pieces !) cant feed a grown man. Staff was great

Totally wouldn’t recommend the Metropolis chains. Rude and inattentive waiters. Right, it’s not your area to serve but don’t ignore your customers just because they are not local! It’s busy, I get it but that’s part of the job, deal with it! If you’re not happy, quit! This outlet and the one along Maršala Tita are run by rude wait staff! Manolo, which is next door, is on the other hand a world apart. Equally busy but wait staff are polite, attentive, regardless of their ‘area’, they will serve you. Waited almost half an hour for a muesli bowl when others had their cooked meals served already. Please boycott this chain

Best cakes!! We were here in our first visit in Sarajevo and the cake was amazing! We did visited again last week and we ate the best cheesecake we ever have! Cheesetachio was so amazing, we repeated the day after

Very bad experience we waited for 40 minutes to waiter for takes our order. They dont care the tables next to door. When the waiter take our order he dont listens it properly so our order came missing. Waiter was rude. 1/10

Food was okay. The waiter messed up my order by giving me chicken stir fry instead of beef. When I asked about it, he said he would bring me beef on the side. He then proceeded to bring a receipt with the price of the beef on the side. He brought the beef in a little dish It tasted burnt and inedible. This was in addition to the stir fry being very mediocre as well. Much better off at a place next door.

Snatched the best locations in Sarajevo...old town is my fave...splendid interior...

Not very good at all for breakfast. Eggs Benedict had cold clump of hollandaise sauce in top,npancakes cold as well. I recommend somewhere else for for breakfast around old town.

The prices at this place are thru the god damm roof. But to give credit where credit is due its a very nice and calm place to sit at.

I came here few times, sometimes I wait 20+ min for waiters. Once I ordered sparkling water and coffe, everything was fine until the bottom of the glass cracked in the moment I lift it up to drink the water. Glass was full of sparkling water and everything spilled out on the table, my pants and my phone. I barely saved my phone which could easily die because its not waterproof, everyone looked at me like its my fault for spilling the water, plus my pants were wet to the end of the day... Waiter came and said that its not the first time it happened, he said its because glass is constantly exposed to hot and cold temperatures so it cracks easily. But I dont agree with him, its because glass is obviously too old and they simply dont care if its time to replace them with new ones. At the end I told the waiter that I didnt drink the water so I am not obliged to pay it.

I ordered the chicken and it was very good. The only thing keeping this place from getting 5 stars is the waiting time. We waited approx 45 minute till we got our food.

I went for dinner. The food wasn't great, wasn't terrible, I asked the check and gave the waiter the exact amount of cash, and he oddly kept repeating the amount of the check and gave me back the money...he didn't look very sober...

Always great to come here for a coffee and watch the hustle and bustle of the city. The service is always friendly and their terrace gets a lot of sun in the morning which is really nice, especially in autumn or winter. The food I tried so far has been okay but a bit bland.

The delicious food. We really liked the pasta, the salads, the tacos, the cream of mushroom soup, and the desserts. The Coke is flat and some waiters are stressed and serving you angrily.

Came once and sat outside. Had a very kind young polite waiter. Went last night and sat inside. Had a grumpy waiter unfortunately.

Too pricy. Small portions in general. Bad and lousy customer service. Generally overrated and not worth the hype! Go somewhere else.
