I had an awesome brunch at Social Roost thanks to our bartender Victor! Our time spent sipping on special cocktails and eating our yummy brunch was a lot of fun. We opted to come here despite it being fully booked. Once we arrived we were seated at the bar, which let me tell you was not a let down at all. I’m not exactly sure why we were told it was fully booked because the whole time there, even after leaving seats were available. But not a big deal because I enjoyed sitting and chatting with Victor the whole time. He’s really a gem that made the dining experience 100x better. Our drinks were fabulous and the food was really delicious. The decor is really cool and instagram worthy. I love the furry (cow hind) wall behind the bar. Gave me “Get Him to the Greek” vibes. The glitter walls and ceiling were really neat too. Really cool space and good food and drinks. Will definitely be back to eat and hang out with Victor for sure!

We loved the vibe and great energy here. When you walk in you are transported to a magical place of deliciousness and wonderful libations! The food was delicious including salmon eggs Benedict and pork belly hash with eggs. Great contrasting yet complimentary flavors. Definitely one of our top restaurants in St Pete recently. We will return soon to explore the menu again! Bravo Social Roost!

My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary dinner and Josh was our server. I must say, compliments to the chef and kudos to Josh for making our meal and experience a memorable one! Josh was attentive, funny and gave great menu recommendations! We ordered the short rib, chicken pot pie, curry mussels, white chocolate cotton cake and Soirée cocktail (not pictured). The short rib was cooked till tender, the chicken pot pie was creamy and indulgent, the broth from the mussels was a FLAVOUR BOMB! The cotton cake was so soft and fluffy. I am an avid foodie and absolutely HIGHLY recommend Social Roost for their high quality food and service. Will definitely return again when I visit St Pete next time!

This place was an absolute gem and it was right in the heart of St. Petersburg downtown. We came right at about 1:45 p.m. and we're seated right away. Our party consisted of about eight people. The wait staff was courteous and the atmosphere was pleasant with modern music from all genres. Food presentation was top notch and prices for the amount of portion size you got was absolutely fabulous. Most meals can be split between two people easily, so there's no need to order completely separate things if you want to save money. All the drinks were excellent and unique. The bartender put on a show while making every single drink and also had a great personality. The food came out in a reasonable time and all was fresh and hot. I would definitely recommend visiting here whenever you are downtown because the price and atmosphere are great and you can't beat the amazing service.

We made reservations for a Saturday night, once we arrived it took an additional 15 minutes for us to get seated. We started off with cocktails, and decided to just get a few appetizers. The curry mussels were so flavorful 10/10 recommended. We also got the Mac and cheese and it was a smokey spicy delicious combo. If you get one appetizer this is the one to get.

This restaurant continues to serve! Every visit has been phenomenal. This was my first time trying brunch here & I absolutely loved it. The service is always great & everyone is friendly. I had an espresso martini & it was absolutely delicious. The apple stuffed french toast was a winner. The portion was huge and it was crispy on the edges which I love. I can't wait to come back and try more brunch options!

Def will return. Pretty hippy. Clean decor. The huge paintings are arty and striking. A pleasant atmosphere. Service is just right. Food is awesome and large portion - curry mussels - fish cake - meatballs The mussels are tender. Oddly a handful of them didn’t open. I asked them just heat it up a bit … they came back in a pretty bowl. Ya I wanted to steal it … ha ha ha … but consider the consequence when I return … We went before 5 for the Rays game. They only serve small plates, which is just fine. But even the small plates are huge - we could only have three, and filled us to the brim - leaves me no room for the junk food at the baseball game. The bathroom water is very thin. Takes a long time to wash my hands. Street parking is easy when we went. The bar tender’s shirt fits the decor perfectly. He said it isn’t the uniform.

This is my 3rd time here and it is always a 10/10! The food was delicious and we loved our server, Desirae. She was knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations, plus she has a great personality and made the evening fun and comfortable. The owners came to check in on us and made sure everything was okay and that added to the experience. We ordered the Baby Kale Caesar and the Peruvian Chicken. Social Roost, amazing place to visit!

This place is amazing. The Roasted Chicken and sides were incredible. So much flavor and nuance. The mashed potatoes have such an amazing buttery seasoned taste, they are addicting! The roast chicken has so much flavor throughout, not just the skin, but it is loaded with flavor all the way through. Highly recommended - you won't be sorry.

Came here with a large party of about 16 ladies with a reservation. They sat us immediately at one long table and had multiple servers for us. Everything came out at a good time and everyone enjoyed their food. The presentation was great for food and drinks. The employees were very helpful with all the good photo ops too. Overall a good place for good food and good vibes.

Such a fantastic lunch! 🥂 My husband and I are in town for a wedding and stopped in for lunch and drinks. The decor is gorgeous and I especially liked the artwork! Vic helped us choose 5 different cocktails to try, and all were incredibly unique and delicious. The food was beyond what we expected. We couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you so much! We can’t wait to return!

Brunch this past Sunday was fantastic! We originally made a reservation for a party of 6 but grew into a 10top and called to make a change a week before and they were able to accommodate. Actually said they can do a brunch up to 24 people! (Impressive) we had a 2pm reservation time and the restaurant was completely full. I checked in with conner whos style matches the vibe and he was friendly to seat us promptly after the table before us got up in time for our reservation. Paige was our server & made sure we were tken care of. We had several different drinks and food and everyone loved it all (their hot sauce is delicious) my fave was pinkies up and substitute for tequila. Don't expect FAST service as they are busy and this is a laid back atmosphere. It was just right. We were able to take our time, never felt rushed, and enjoyed every minute. The food was served hot and tasty. I wanted one of everything! I took photos of most of the dishes so you can get a good idea of the food. Definitely a great brunch spot! Would 10/10 go again!

It was my first visit to Social Roost. Indoor and outdoor seating, you can make reservations in advance. Beautiful interior. Service was slow but maybe because there was only one waiter in the restaurant. Tokyo bowl ($25) with salmon, mushrooms, rice, and veggies was out of this world delicious, very flavorful, and totally saved the day. Probably one of the favorite meals DTSP so far. There were other things on the menu that I would like to try.

Our waitress and bartender, Alex and Reese were phenomenal. Well versed in the menu and gave great recommendations. Reese is the COOLEST bartender, she made off menu custom drinks for us, and she also sings😍 the food was amazing! The atmosphere is the perfect mix of casual and elegant, with the staff making you feel like a regular even if you’re not. You cannot go wrong with anything you get and we cannot recommend this place enough! We will be back tomorrow for lunch to try some more menu options!!

This place is one of the best restaurants in St Pete. Excellent food and service. Do yourself a favor and order the chicken samosas appetizer. You will not regret it. The atmosphere is chill with great music. I wasn't particularly impressed with their drinks. They could definitely do better with that. Overall, it was a great experience. Will definitely come back.

The decor is really special and the place looks really nice, which contributes to the nice vibe. Some of the food was a bit pricier but was well worth it as it was amazing. I had the crispy skin salmon, which tasted great, yet I do wish it was a little bigger; but the rest of the table's portions were big. My girlfriend's pesto pasta was also very good. Overall a very good experience, mostly because of the many great dishes which I would love to come back and try.

This was our second time here and it was SO GOOD again! We started with a cocktail at the bar. Vic was an excellent cocktail Craftsman! When we were seated at our table for dinner, we took the recommendation of our waiter. Josh, for our appetizer. The bruschetta made with barata cheese and pistachio pesto was scrumptious! And the perfect size for two people to share. I ordered the Peruvian chicken and it was a flavor festival! But even better was the red snapper. The coconut lime rice was perfect for the expertly prepared fish. The coconut cream sauce on the plate was beautiful and delicious.

Loved the chicken and biscuits that I got here, it was so good and flavorful ! Was not a fan of the sunny espresso martini but the food was good so it made up for it. The drink was too strong to drink and it was hard to drink. Corey was amazing and super friendly. Great atmosphere and the manager even came up to our table to ask how the food and service was. Great experience overall.

The Sunday menu is a bit different. The roasted chicken was delicious, juicy and flavorful. But the pesto pasta was bland and literally looked like a pile of scraps. The decor was cute and creative

I was there Wednesday night with two friends and what an amazing experience. The waiter was Travis he was amazing and very attentive. Travis checked on us for every course. My martini was amazing and the dinners were exceptional. The desserts are very big and the bread pudding was exceptional. Actually all three desserts were off the chain amazing. The GM is also visible and checking on tables which is very nice and unique. I love the decor very nicely done. I will be back to experience the brunch. One of the best places to go in St Pete.

The Social Roost is a nice little restaurant in Downtown St. Pete. It was very classy looking but the attire is casual so you can just pop in if you want. Reservations are not required but are recommended. The server was very nice and attentive and the presentation of the food was amazing. For the most part, the food and drinks were delicious. My only complaints are that it is a little expensive and the mashed potatoes needed salt and butter. As I said though, with the exception of the potatoes the food was delicious.

We had a wonderful dinner and drinks, highly recommend trying this unique spot out as you won’t be disappointed!! Josh was our server and he was so nice as well as helpful with the menu. Their bruschetta was the absolute best we have ever had. Then we split their chopped Italian salad and Korean fried chicken, both excellent. We would definitely get the short rib next time as we were torn. Their GM was so kind and we had a great combo with him. We are so happy we tried this gem.

Went for Saturday brunch. We went on the tail end of brunch so it was quiet. Pretty sure I got the diabeetus from the banana bread with the honey and butter but it was worth it. Chicken and waffles were absolutely phenomenal. The rest of our brunch companions were also equally as happy with our meals. Also appreciated the "Whatever" bathrooms.
