توضیحات زیادی ازین مکان تاریخی و زیبا خواندم و قضاوت خاصی در مورد کاربری بنا ندارم و هرچند که محلی ها آن را امامزاده میدانند روایت تاریخی چیز دیگری است و حتی برروی بنر هم توضیحات تاریخی آمده نه افسانه های محلی . بهرحال این داستان شاهزاده ای که منتظر است تا تاج و کشورش را پس بگیرد برای من جذابیت بیشتری داشت . معماری حتی برای من که اهل بناهای تاریخی هستم زیادی منحصر به فرد بود . شکل خاص گنبد و پلان دایروی واقعا برایم جذاب بود . هرچند بنا وضعیت بدی ندارد ولی نگهداری حرفه ای هم از آن نمیشود و این از درخت رشد کرده بر روی پوشش سقف بنا مشخص است . فضا واقعا خاص و انرژی خوبی دارد . دیدنش واقعا توصیه میشود

برج لاجیم که به مقبره امامزاده عبدالله نیز شهرت دارد، از جاهای دیدنی سوادکوه در روستای لاجیم است. گنبد مخروطی ساده و ظریف برج در داخل به حالت مدور تغییر شكل می‌دهد. ورودی برج در سمت شرق قرار دارد و پایه گنبد را به‌وسیله یک ردیف طاق‌نما تزیین کرده‌اند. در كمربند زیر گنبد، دو كتیبه به خط كوفی و پهلوی روی‌ هم جای گرفته‌اند که به شکل زیبایی با آجرهای تراش‌خورده در زمینه‌‎ای از گچ سفید دیده می‌شوند. كتیبه با خط كوفی نام «کیا اسماعیل ابوالفوراس شهریار ابن‌عباس» (صاحب بنا) و تاریخ ۴۱۳ هجری قمری را نشان می‌دهد.
