I absolutely loved my time at Guesthouse Evergreen, so much so that I stayed two weeks! From the minute you walk in and see the leafy green courtyard open up before you, you know you have found heaven on earth. The owners are kind and helpful, the breakfasts are varied and DELICIOUS, and there's a kitchen, washing machine, separate toilet and shower rooms, spacious dorms... all in a quiet location but an easy walk (or shared or private taxi) to town. The owner's family made me feel like one of them, which was so nice. They also gave good recommendations and advice for visits to silk factories, the famous Qum Tepa market and other sites. I wasn't the only person who extended their stay, and I hope I'll be lucky enough to come back one day. Thank you so much for a really special experience in Margilon!

Had a short, but nevertheless wonderful stay at Evergreen (truly wish I could have stayed longer). Avazbek and his family are gracious hosts, the breakfasts are gorgeous and super delicious and the setting is very relaxing with its little garden paradise. Avazbek is also a great source of information on where to eat, where to shop and how to get around. I can only recommend.

A friend and I stayed in a shared room in Marghilan in September 2024 for two nights. It was a last minute trip for a festival taking place in the city so the only room left was a twin room with a shared bathroom. We were absolutely delighted with our stay and I would come back in a heartbeat. Avazbek was the most attentive, considerate host and the guesthouse is a rare oasis of greenery and peace in Uzbekistan. The inner courtyard is absolutely bursting with living plant life with a combination of tapchan and chairs. Breakfast was authentic and delicious and the shared toilet and shower were good too. Everything was spotless. Mattresses were on the firm side, which was perfect for my back and the room was comfortable and clean. Have nothing to criticise and will be back as soon as possible with my family in tow. Confidently recommend to anyone.

I loved the Guest House. Such a lovely warm place with great facilities and the owners were so helpful. They organised a car and driver for me and it was very reasonable. The room was cosy, warm and they provide you slippers - I really liked this. They have a kitchen you can use and it was nice to be able to have access as I had missed a kitchen during my travels. Breakfast was a lovely local mix of dried fruits, nuts, bread, jams, and egg stuffed with tomato. I really enjoyed my stay here. And the hospitality.

Excellent stay! The location is just a 15 min walk from the train station and a short bus ride from the city center. The owner was quite friendly and helped us navigate the city. We were there for two days which was more than enough to see the surrounding sights. The breakfast was excellent (see pictures) and the garden/sitting area was quite relaxing. They have a kitchen if you want to cook to own food as well as a fridge and hot water available all day. The only downside was the rooms get a bit stuffy so you need to have the fan on. Otherwise, the beds themselves were decent and it didn’t feel too crowded in the three person room. There is however only one toilet which meant a short wait every now and then. We would definitely come back and recommend to anyone looking for a nice, clean and relaxing place to stay.
