I visited the Inochi Museum in December and was greeted by sunny weather and pleasant temperatures. Highly recommend getting the ticket that includes transportation due to the vast area of the museum, making it easier to explore. Wow! This place is amazing. There is so much to see and the quality of art is fantastic. We spent the day here, arriving from BH on the pre-booked shuttle that leaves from outside the Holiday Inn. We didn’t use the buggy transport, instead opting to walk around. The grounds are huge and there are so many galleries that we only just managed to fit everything in to our day. Keep your eyes open for wildlife. We saw a rattlesnake, coatis, lizards and toucans. They really added to the day. You can’t take food in but we enjoyed burgers at one of the cafes.

I love it here, and I will definitely come back. I bought a two day ticket, which is enough to see most of the exhibits. I also bought the ticket to use the golf carts for one day, as there are some points that are further into the park. I knew I would be doing a lot of walking, so it was worth it. There is so much to see here and experience. A lot of thought and consideration went into every installation. Some exhibits are outside, and some things are in various buildings. There is a botanical garden with a variety of stingless bees, which was one of my favourite things to see here. You will have so many beautiful areas to walk around or to sit and relax. Sadly, some exhibits were closed while I was here. The photos do not do it justice. You have to come here and see it for yourself. I recommend at least a 2 day ticket with a golf cart ticket. Bring water and sun protection. Wear comfy walking shoes. You can buy food and drink here. Make sure you grab a map when at the reception.

It’s a lot of walking but the green scenery and manicured gardens are great to look at. Highly recommend and one of the best things I saw in Brazil. Did a full day and wasn’t able to see everything. 100% going to plan more trips here to finish seeing it all. Suggest reserving a exclusive golf cart way ahead. We thought we could get them same day but they were sold out. Even with the golf cart I feel as if you can spend multiple days here. Also would want to come back in different seasons as the park has so much vibrant plant life that I’m sure the seasonal changes are worth seeing multiple times. Absolutely gorgeous museum located 2 hours out of Belo Horizonte. Prices are reasonable but be prepared to walk a lot! Inhotim Museum is a fantastic opportunity to engage with nature whilst being immersed in art. Cannot fault anything about the facility, it is extremely well looked after and the staff are beyond helpful. Definitely worth a visit.

We took a bus from the central bus station (Rodoviaria) to Inhotim. We got our bus tickets and admission tickets before hand. Wonderful experience. Highly recommend paying for internal transit as well.

Wonderfull experience, a beautifull park full of botanical wonders. And then youre able to see such beautifull art as well in all the galleries. The food and drinks are on the pricy side and if You decide to buy a ticket without the driving option, expect to walk a lot. If youre into that its totally worth it. If youre not a hiker, id recommend spending more for the comfort of getting into the taxi from one gallery to the next. Its also more easy to see the whole park this way, on foot this isnt possible in one Day. Overall very good experience, a magical place.

Definitely worth your time and money when visiting Minas Gerais. The Museum contains a vast collection of large scale artwork. The galleries themselves are huge architectural feats and the designs are astonishing. Located inside of what was previously was a farm, Inhotim offers its visitors the contrast with the industrial developments of the cities that surround it. If you are not on the trekking shape, it is good advice to go on weekdays and to purchase the internal shuttle service. There are several galleries and artworks that are quite far apart and uphill. It is doable to see the whole museum in a day using the carts and arriving early. Eve during the pandemic, Inhotim was quite busy and required tickets far in advance. You will need a car to get there and go early because the road is not the best.

Great day out, every exhibition was unique and a great surprise, always playing with your senses. We had two kids (4 and 5) who enjoyed it too. Definitely get the cart to get you around the scheduled route. That would be too far for the kids without this and my put pressure on the day trip from belo horizonte. really nice place to visit , you kind of need two days to see it all , on wednesdays is FREE ! so definitely try to go. and the location is very remote , so by car is the best option, but they have a shuttle bus kind of expensive but is a good option. The museums are great ! the park is really well care , the coffee shops, are kind of expensive but they are good, ( you can do a picnic inside with you own food ! so thats an option!)

A must do in Brazil! I recommend to go at least 1.5 days, or 2 days, as the park is huge and there are many incredible exhibitions. We were there for two days and selected the golf buggy option once- I feel that it isn’t worth it as you often have to wait 5 minutes for a buggy, which is the time it takes to walk. If you’re prepared to walk over 10000 steps during your visit, opt for walking :)
