Without any doubt one of the most beautiful churches I saw in my life (and I'm Italian lol ) Incredible example of different transitions of baroque and rococo with approximately 400kg of gold and innumerous angles this church is a museum itself but has also a museum of Sacred Arts in the basement that surely deserve a visit. Don't leave Ouro Preto without visiting this place!

A great place! It has awesome golden design, and absolutely wonderful pictures! Its lightining and red colour curtains help creating a marvelous atmosphere.

Amazing historic church with gold. You need to buy ticket to enter not at entrance, at house around 10meter from here. Fee is 10BRL per adult, 5BRL per kids. It is much more worth than fee. If you visit Ouro Preto, you must plan to visit here. By the way, there are hills around there if you go from Tiradentes plaza. It’s better to think time and energy.

Magic place in a magic city, just avoid the guides or negociate their fare around 50 Reales.

Beautiful church with golden interior. Ouro Preto has a lot of churches but this one is without a doubt the most impressive. You do have to pay to enter but it is definitely worth it.

Amazing Baroque style church with lots of ornamentation and gold leafing. Well worth the visit.
