Really pleased with the suggestions from Mr Ashik who served us. He was very calm and welcoming. The recommendations made by him were perfectly balanced and I had an amazing time with my family. Nothing more to review as Chef Pillai and his amazing team are top in business. Taste - 10/10 Ambience - 10/10 Staff - 10/10 Quality - 10/10 What I noticed was all of the staffs were really well groomed and yes the open kitchen with a view from the dining area. Before going to the review, I have to say two things. 1. This is a fine dining restaurant. So expect costly food with fancy plating and less quantity. 2. This is NOT YOUR TYPICAL KERALA RESTAURANT. This is a restaurant which serves fusion Kerala cuisine. That means if you expect your usual delicious authentic kerala non-veg and veg items, you may come back disappointed. Instead, if you go there with an open mind to test some new dishes and tastes you won't be disappointed. To our luck we reached at perfect time, we didn't have to wait even 2 minutes. We were seated immediately and attended immediately by Mr.Ashik. We ordered inchipuli chicken, Wayanadan Paal Konchu, Veettile Kozhi curry, Fish Nirvana (of course!), Nool Porotta and Appam. Items started to come to our table, one by one in like 15-20 minutes. I loved tangy inchipuli chicken. It's a genius idea I'd say. Genius because it was right out there but nobody other than this restaurant chain, thought about it. Fish nirvana is not your typical spicy fish curry. Don't expect that. Since it's cooked using coconut milk, it's more on the mild side. It was delicious too. Veettile Kozhi curry aka Homely chicken curry was good. Coconut milk is in there as well. Mr. Ashik was very helpful and courteous while recommending dishes and serving us. In case anyone is wondering, our bill came upto around ₹3000 (for 2 people) with some extra porottas and fruit juices. Overall I was fully satisfied with the food and service. Once again, it's a fine-dining fusion restaurant. Expect that and go there, you'll be happy.

Food is average. A bit overrated in my opinion. Beef was a lil rubbery. Seafood was average. The Pani Poori fusion with buttermilk was a failure. The Chintamani Chicken was really good. Chicken Nikkah Biryani was a little bland, could’ve been more spicy.

We stayed one week in Bangalore. While in search of Kerala food I found a restaurant of Chef Pillai in Brigade Road. The food I tried was *Beverages* chakka manga Peach mojito *Short eats* Pappadam and chutney Venda paal konju Pazham pori chaat *Main dish* Avial Malabar nool porata Egg appam Kappa Appam Rice *Signature* 3 types of fish niravana ( seer fish , pomfret, karimeen ) Nikkah biriyani Chef pillai seafood platter The food was so delicious that i became a regular customer here. the whole food I tasted from here was marvelous and well prepared. From preparation till serving I will give them a 5 ⭐ rating. The point I liked here the most is the service and the attitude of the staff. I would like to mention the service here, especially the trained staff and the way they treat every customer. I like to applaud Anjitha and Jerin. Visited the outlet for New Year's eve lunch. As a Keralite, I could have had the same food for half the price elsewhere. So I am paying double the cost for : - Ambience - Service quality ; and - Presentation But it really worth all the hype ? It is quite debatable. We had ordered Sambaram Kadumanga Panipuri, Paneer Kondattam, Puli inji Chicken wings, Fish Nirvana (Seer), Appams, Nool Porattas and Idiyappam. Sambaram Panipuri was a stand out dish and was mouth watering. Paneer Kondattam was tasty. But had to really search for the few bits of Paneer within the masala. The Puli inji Chicken wings we ordered never came and had to be cancelled. Idi Appams were really good. Appams were not crispy. Nool Porottas were average. The let down was the much hyped up Fish Nirvana. We wanted a pomfret, but was later told that they have run out. Hence shifted to a Seer. For a Malabar Mallu who is used to a staple Fish Moilee, found this Nirvana variation to be having too much of coconut milk making it extremely heavy and killing the flavour of the fish. The tender coconut pudding was delectable and recommended. Service standards were being stretched, maybe due to the rush, in all fairness. Had a waiting time of half an hour, which was ok. Place had a good ambience and feel. Food quality needs to improve.

Food was really yummy like finger licking 😋 Staff behavior is the best,assisted us till the end recommended their best dishes from the menu. Special thanks to Mr. Shaheen for your assistance. My recommendations:- Welcome drink: 😄Chakka Mango Juice Starter : 😄Pani puri with buttermilk with a twist which has burst flavors in your mouth. 😄Prawns with coconut and some secret spices Main Course: 😄Appam with seer fish nirvana Desert:😄Palada cheese cake( looks like the chef who made that dish was artist, so beautiful you can just fall for the looks)....!!!

Food is decent. It's not typical Kerala cuisine. Bit experimental... Over all it was not upto my taste... The ambience was pretty mixed up... Washroom is pretty small...

Great Kerala style food. Will definitely recommend. I tried the fish Nirvana and appam. The fish is worth trying. I would have loved a bigger fish size for the price but otherwise it's really good. Also loved their drink chakka manga. Not many people would have had a jackfruit flavoured drink, and it's awesome.
