Ciao Bistro & Cafe is a tremendous addition to the Lynn dining scene! Delicious food, great service and overall amazing atmosphere. I’m looking forward to my next visit and I highly recommend everyone check this place out!

We stopped in to buy a gift card for my dad. I will update the review when he tells me about his trip. We’ve heard great things about this place and I expect him to be happy with his time at ciao.

Lovely staff and amazing food and cocktails. You really cannot go wrong with any of the pizzas on the menu but my favorite is the broccoli rabe with sausage. Look out for their specials on their instagram page too, they are UNREAL! Definitely will be returning soon

Had a great meal. Excellent arancini and a generous portion of a chicken broccoli Alfredo. My fiance had meatballs with spaghetti which had some of the best meatballs I've had in a long time. We both had 2 drinks and the bill was around 120 including tip. Staff was prompt and friendly. Will definitely go here again on a date night. We went back!! It did not disappoint. Had arancini again but this time Bolognese with cacio de pepe croquet, meatballs and porchetta vino gnocchi with a hazelnut cake for dessert. Have you ever had a bite of food that made you sad you had not had it before? The porchetta was that bite. Incredible! The staff continues to be friendly and prompt my only complaint was I didn't have any delicious bread left to clean my plate with. Definitely worth checking out. Cocktails were delicious and had an interesting selection as well.

This might be my new favorite spot on the North Shore! Ciao has delicious and innovative takes on Italian plates, plus smooth and stunning drinks you can't put down. Our server was new, but she was doing great and was very helpful. The Ooo Bae is a rum drink featuring ube and topped with a photogenic flower arrangement, the Leonitus is a rum drink featuring guava, the Paradiso is a tequila drink featuring pineapple juice, and they all go down so, so easily. The Ooo Bae was perhaps the best, but it was a tough call! For apps we got the crocchetine and a special I cannot remember the name of, and both were great new takes on Italian fare — refreshing change from the usual suspects at every other Italian restaurant. The Calabria pizza was a delicious white pizza with sausage crumbles and caramelized onions. The pizza was perfectly sized for two to share. For dessert, the cannolis came with a trio featuring classic, chocolate chip, and pistachio. The cannolis were good, but not nearly to the level of everything else we enjoyed so much. Overall, best drinks in the area, hands down, and some seriously good food!

I have never had good pizza in MA so I tried Ciao for the first time. I ordered on-line and picked up. It was barely warm, but it was obvious that the ingredients were very good. It appeared as a pie for one person, between a small and a medium. I ordered a pepperoni with 2 additional toppings (skimped on the olives)and the total was almost $27. I don’t think this place is 4 stars out of 5, closer to 3.8 Not an amazing pizza, but a quality pizza that I would try it again. ** I think it is classy that the owner responds to an average review…. Will try it at the restaurant with much higher expectations

I recently tried the pizza at Ciao in Lynn, and I have to say, it's some of the best pizza I've had in a long time. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and wonderfully chewy on the inside – just the way I like it. The toppings were fresh and flavorful, and the combination of ingredients was both creative and delicious. I ordered the MARGHERITA and CACIO & PEPE. It exceeded my expectations. The service was friendly and efficient, adding to the overall positive experience. If you're a pizza lover, Ciao is a must-visit. I'll definitely be coming back for more of their incredible pizza! 🍕😋

I was so excited to try the pizza. My husband called to order carry out, and we were told they weren't doing it that night. He asked multiple times why not. No explanation why. We found out later there was some act at the auditorium that night. At least say WHY you can't accommodate an order, as opposed to saying you just can't. Your website says you can order pickup or delivery. EDIT: WOW. Definitely all set with this place. My husband called to place a carry out order, only to be treated poorly on the the phone, with no explanation as WHY they couldn't accommodate the order. Just "No." Here's the owner's response. Yikes! Not very professional. "Little did you know, we also had a 290 person event off site the same night. To ensure we didn’t receive bad reviews or had any issues with carry out, that was another reason we did no take out for the evening. I guess we really cannot please everyone. Please refrain from leaving reviews like this for another full service restaurants. It only hurts them in the long run. We aren’t a sub shop. It’s not strange that we decided to not do takeout on the busiest night of the week at full capacity." Then just say so... It's not that hard. Bad customer service. And maybe don't offer pickup/delivery on your website? And if you can't honor that, then say why.

The atmosphere is perfect for the size of the restaurant, great scenery and friendly service. White sangria was garnished nicely but had little to no flavor and much, much more ice than I’m accustomed to. For the portion sizes and location of the restaurant I found the prices to be unsuitably high. The food to me did have a great taste to it. My wife was not as impressed.

I came here for the first time for the R&B brunch and the vibes were so amazing! Shoutout to the DJ for really setting the tone for a great time! If you come be sure to order an espresso martini! Rachel was the best waitress as well thank you girl!

We were in town, randomly passing through Lynn after a day trip to Salem and had a GREAT meal. We are used to some fantastic Italian spots living in Chicago, this restaurant far exceeds the food we have near home. A special shout out to Mia for being so awesome and providing great recommendations on the menu. Also, the bartender (sorry, don’t know his name) made the BEST margarita I’ve had… ever! Thanks for a great evening, our tummies are happy!

My husband and I have wanted to try this place for a while and could not have been happier. We decided to sit at the bar and it was a great experience. The drinks were delicious, we had the crocchettine and meatball appetizers that were fantastic. My husband had the shrimp scampi pizza for the main course, and I had the short rib ragu. We would have eaten the whole meal if we didn't want to save room for dessert. The owner Sean was also great! Will be back again!

Our go to local place for great drinks courtesy of Sean and high quality affordable Italian. Even though it's local to us, it's worth the drive if you are not in Lynn! From the tasty cocktails made with care and love to the pizzas to the meatballs - the meatballs are the bomb! We get them every time we go. They would make both my Italian grandmother's proud, and that's saying a lot!
