Me and my fiance decided to check this place out since we was out all night , front desk was kinda weird not much info on hotel just a key handed , when we went to the room i notice this was not a usual hotel was more like a actual room with a bed a little desk and a bathroom inside , i like to check around the place ima sleep , bed was very comfy not gonna lie but there was alot of mouse trap all over then the bathroom had used soap in the shower i was a little disgusted, then i noticed a little camera on the ceiling which for me was very odd, i told my mom about it and she said this hotel was known for a hotel that has cameras inside the rooms , after she told me that i will never again step a foot there , i told my fiance and he was so disbelieve this is insane! NEVER AGAIN

Owner is horrible. Most rooms don’t have wifi or cable, or heat! And he wants $812.00 a month 😂 I left within two weeks of supposed to be staying for a month. Not to mention the cat sized rats that run around the basement and first floor. Fix your stuff bruh

Rooms are dingy, cold in the fall and winter. The front desk man negotiates prices. They low key judge you once you walk through the door. Always watching and you can't go to and from your room as you would like without being judged. I really would give them a half star ⭐

Sucks manger can not mind his business. Constantly knocking on door. Counts how many times you come and go from your room. Owner likes to tell people what to do and how to live. I have never felt so invaded of my privacy.

I was in a tough financial position, being in between jobs and taking care of my sick husband. We chose to rent a room at the old Stanley Hotel now called the Universal Motel in Chelsea MA. We knew it was not going to be the best of places but what we got was unbelievable. Rats throughout the inside and outside of the location. Bed bugs also throughout the location. One shard bathroom which was never cleaned and had mold every where. The constant smell of urine was throughout the entire building. We were paying 80.00 a night ! Constant cops activity there, you could smell the drug usage from time to time. The only time the place was remotely cleaned is when they were scheduled for a city inspection. And the owner was caught several times changing room amounts to what ever he felt like for who ever he felt like. This place was a nightmare

I tink the hotel is actually beautiful. Had a cozy clean room. The bathroom was clean and nice. The only thing is the management are always rude and tend to make you feel as if they are looking down their nose at you.

Its clean, quiet, and is more controlled now. However, the staff are rude and jugdemental. If they think you are less than... They will make your stay uncomfortable, and test your limits so to ultimately throw you out. I wouldn't go back there for anything in the world!!!

Price is $100 a night pretty steep price but once you get your room, hopefully with A.C. and a heater if your lucky. Always check if the flat screen can turn on before you throw your stuff down so they can change your room.

So far I can't get in touch with the owner. Place it's nasty. Worse conditions I ever seen. But it's the cheapest place around that I know so fare.

I don’t recommend this place! It’s completely dirty, bath is horrible, sheets have holes and stains, no blankets, the front desk is impolite! Please if you want a comfortable night don’t come to this hotel, save a little more money to afford other place
