This place has been our "home" for months. The food Ms. Dee makes at breakfast is amazing! Damon always keeps the place snow free outside and clean. Maria is a gem at the front desk.. I can't say enough good things about the ENTIRE staff here! They are the best! My husband and I traveled a lot and this has been one of the best places we have encountered. I wish I could list more names.. I just can't remember them all. They all deserve accolades.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The front desk staff was super friendly. The room was great. Bed was comfortable. It is a non smoking hotel and did not smell like smoke or pot. The breakfast was amazing with choices. Strawberries and whipped cream was a nice surprise. They have soy milk, every sugar you could want. Great juice cups. Herbal teas. Cheese omelettes. Plus the usual stuff.

Great hotel, the nice lady working breakfast I think her name was Doretha?? She was so sweet and pleasant to be around and friendly. Great rooms and setups throughout, a lot of places nearby. I come to work in Hammond throughout year, stayed here for first time and won’t consider anywhere else

Wonderful experience. Maria, front desk, upgraded us when I ask to be away from any pets. She put us on a floor that my autistic son had no worries about dogs!!!

Quaint hotel with a homey feel. The noise at night doing their evening activities in the lobby was a little loud. Overall, it was a reasonably decent stay.

This has been our go to place for family gatherings for over 5 years running now. The two bedroom suites have plenty of room with the open kitchen-living room has lots of space for interacting. Everything always works and it’s less expensive than two rooms just about any where else.

This is without a doubt the most relaxing hotel I have ever stayed at. The breakfast here is absolutely amazing. If you want to enjoy your time and have the opportunity to stay here you owe it to yourself to experience what a real hotel is supposed to be like.

I had a really nice stay and the breakfast was awesome. The only thing I didn't care for was them giving me a handicap room that I felt that should be for the handicap. But they did accommodate me and changed my room to a beautiful suite.

I rarely write reviews one way or the other. But I wanted to share my experience at this location. From the Housekeepers to the breakfast lady “D” the front desk staff, Destiny the Hotel Manager they’re a top notch team! Everyone will stop whatever they are doing to attend to your needs. The hotel is always clean even while they are doing a complete renovation. The newly remodeled rooms are very nice. This is the place to go if staying in this area. This is a FIVE STAR Hotel especially when it comes to the StayBridge Suites team!

Public area was very well kept. That was as far as I got into the hotel. Met with some family members there on 5-13-23 around 9pm. Askd the front desk agent if there was a fan around for one injured party. She said she would look into it. 5 minutes later she walked up with a box fan for us. Great service.

This was my second stay, my first stay was wonderful! Great experience, Chris is a great guy. I travel a lot with work, I am on the road and away from home 4 nights a week. I decided to stay with Staybridge over Holiday Inn Express. I just checked out yesterday. On Tuesday when I check in from the get-go, the gal at the desk was rude and unpleasant. I am not sure if it was the fact that the police had been on-site, and she had to deal with something prior to me walking in. So, I dismissed it, normally I would address it, I do not do well with rude, disrespectful people at all. I did address it the next day with Chris the manager. Yesterday, as I was leaving I was trying to check out and secure my lodging for the next week and no one was around, I waited and waited, still no one was around, I did ring the bell several times and nothing, so I left and figured I would just jump online and set up my lodging, after I did that I received a call from my boss that I needed to be in the area a day sooner then I originally thought. I called the hotel and asked the gal if she could make the changes, she was so rude, she made me repeat myself several time and she even kind of laughed about it, she clearly is not cut out for this type of work. One thing the staff should remember is when people are traveling and they are away from home and out of the element, the last thing people need is an attitude from the staff at the hotel, a place where they are supposed to feel welcome. I have stayed there now twice and the only 2 people that have been nice and friendly have been Chris and the gal in the kitchen. The rest of the staff is unfriendly, unprofessional and rude. I had scheduled to come back next week for 5 days, however after being treated poorly yesterday and being made to feel as if I was bothering her when I called in, I will NEVER give them my money. I should not be treated with anything more than respect! They have no clue what respect is. After all, at the end of the day, they have a job because of us. Deena Walkden

Rooms are very clean and even thou you only get full cleanings once a week they do a wonderful job of freshening up each week day. Daily trash, bed making, and garbage pick up is a plus. The social food and drinks on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday is delicious and the breakfast changes up daily. Each day we return from work the girls at the front desk tell us hello and welcome back. Very homey feel here. Very polite staff including the maintenance man. Free wash and dryer use and nice little patio out back to grill and hang out on. Oh and on top of all of this the beds are so very comfy. I highly recommend staying here as we are here for another couple weeks and have zero complaints 💙💙 other hotels should take notes here 💙💙

Staff very friendly. Comfortable beds. Stayed 8 days but had “light service” once, so ended up taking our own trash out, going to front desk for towels. The three dinner nights were okay, but breakfast options were usually cold. Property very littered. Rather disappointing. Would give 2.5 stars if rating supported it.

Co worker and myself both drive trucks and were running out of time after loading in Chicago, We needed a room ASAP to shut down for the night. called around and the best we could find was maybe 1 hotel that I called but they could not book room ,So I called over to the Staybridge where Angela the front desk answered I explained our dilemma and the heavy traffic we were in.I gave her our office contact person and she called our company and handled everything Thanks to her we got the last 2 rooms .All of the staff is great BUT I REALLY have to brag on ANGELA how she took customer services to a top level professional experience that can not be beat.I will drive the extra miles to stay at the Staybridge in Schererville when ever possible. Stayed again last night 02/04/24 and the professionalism from the staff is amazing ANGELA is an excellent person to deal with making the check in so easy and stress free.Hotel once again was very clean and appealing. Upon check out Jasmine was very polite and personal. The entire staff strives to make your stay a pleasant experience.
